On a recent hike, I passed a massive overturned tree. Its roots had been ripped from the soil, but not entirely - they twisted and hung, like the bars of a cage, before snaking back into the earth. They made a sort of room, an open space between the tree and the ground, walled in by vines and thick, gnarled roots. As I studied it, a voice in the back of my mind kept repeating, “Things dwell here. I am a trespasser. This is a sacred place.”

They’re singing about helping people yet you’re left with a feeling that you can’t trust them.

The way the woman is stiff as a board and her face completely emotionless, only occasionally slipping into sadness.

The man looks like a thug who could knock you out in one punch yet moves in such a fluid an elegant way he almost looks like he was captured in slow motion.

The keyboard player who acts like his only purpose is to make the two singers happy but it’s unclear if he’s doing it of his own free will.

Doesn’t help that the ad for show this is from looked like this
