This is my Dragonborn Blood Hunter Llyr for my ongoing series of character cards. Llyr was actually made as a NPC character that the players could interact with in a Campaign I’ve been running, and he became so interesting that I had to draw him too. He is actually based on a good friend of mine ( @charcoalmagi ) who ran the first DND campaign I ever played in. Go check him out! “Blood dripped from his blade, from his wounds. Nergui felt it seep into his skin, the smell becoming sharper. He embraced the transformation, let it wrap around his body as thick black fur grew, stretching his clothes, his senses sharpening, nails becoming claws and teeth becoming fangs.
He felt the beast lurk under his skin. Felt it call out for more blood. Gritting his sharpened teeth Nergui pushed it back. He wouldn’t lose control. Not again.”

Odiin Nergui has been raised to fight monsters so that other people would be safe. He quickly learned that if you want to kill monsters, you have to pay a price. And sometimes, you have to become the monster.
