UHHH so some of you might remember my Non-Denominational October Art Challenge last year (Encountober.) Aaaand some of you might remember that I basicallydidn’t post anything about it other than the prompts.
HOWEVER! I’ve been using some of this time to start chipping away at them because I’ve been in a BIG map mood lately. So, these are the “Early Level” encounter maps (CR 1-4!)
These black and white maps will be available in full res on my Patreon for the $10+ tier so you can color the linearts and use them for your own games if you want! I will also be coloring them myself at some point, and those will be available at full res for $5+ patrons!
And I’ll be picking at LEAST one map to make available to the public at full res once they’re done!
Obviously the list isn’t done, but feel free to use it for inspiration even outside of October! :P

There’s always trouble at the city docks. It’s a given. If there’s not be trouble now, the party will create some. Just try to not damage too much property while you’re at it. Options include day, evening, fog, lamp night, or midnight. Maps from this week’s game. The players went through these maze like maps encountering twisted parodies of the things they had encountered in the world up to now. At the end of the dungeon they met the man who arranged all of this who left them with more questions than answers.

Dungeon map Set no. 4 - a sealed tomb and a golden artifact!
Some of this is based on last week’s worldbuilding sesh with our DM.

Celadon sits at the southeast corner of the Xeric Peninsula, at the entrance to the Bay of Fortune. is constructed from tiers upon tiers of sandstone walls, all covered in mosaics of pale green ceramic and gold. The marketplaces of Celadon are the busiest in the world, with great throngs of foreign traders coming and going by sea. They say that every gold piece in Azra has passed through Celadon at least once.
Celadon is called the Citadel of Prosperity for good reason. Society in Celadon is centered around the gathering of wealth. The government is ruled by nine Merchant Praetors, each of which represent the interests of their own trader dynasties. To a Celadonic, money is a sign of divine favor. To achieve wealth is a holy task. Unsurprisingly, this has created serious problems for Celadon’s poorer citizens. The worship of wealth is used to justify all manner of unethical business practices, including the sale and use of slaves.
Perhaps the most profitable export of Celadon is an exceedingly rare plant called the Golden Lotus. The nectar of this flower can be used in a secretive alchemical process to create a medicinal miracle. The Golden Elixir halts the effects of aging in its drinker, and can be used to treat a number of otherwise incurable afflictions. because of its scarcity, vials of the Golden Elixir sell for astronomical prices across the continent.
