I’ve been posting some reel tutorials over on the CDI Instagram! I call this method “drop a pile of dice and see what happens”. If you’re not a dnd player or otherwise don’t have a hoard of dice lying around, you could try this with any small objects, like coins, dry beans, or even pebbles!
NEW MAP: Europe 1812: Battle of Berezina (26 November 1812) https://buff.ly/3xEUvdU Suffering from the winter, exhausted supply lines, and repeated Russian attacks, the French retreat from Moscow soon degenerated into a disaster. In late November Napoleon narrowly managed to escape across the Berezina, evading a last Russian attempt to destroy his army but losing half his remaining troops. NEW MAP: Europe 305: Second Tetrarchy (1 May 305) https://buff.ly/2SMcCAk In 305 Diocletian and Maximian both retired, setting a precedent in the hopes of stabilizing the office of Emperor and preventing further succession crises. NEW MAP: Europe 302: Battle of Lingones (circa 302) https://buff.ly/35UsCDj Between 299 and 305 the Roman Empire went largely unthreatened by war, perhaps a testament to the general success of Diocletian’s reforms. One exception was in around 302, when an Alemannic raiding force almost captured Constantius at Lingones, deep within Gaul. NEW MAP: Europe 296: Battle of Calleva Atrebatum (September 296) https://buff.ly/2SXPm25 With the establishment of the Tetrarchy, Constantius took command in Gaul and immediately moved against Carausius, who he expelled from the major Gallic port of Gesoriacum in the summer of 293. However, it would be another three years before Constantius was ready to launch a fleet to cross the Channel and land two armies on the British coast. Almost immediately the Germanic tribes invaded Gaul while Frankish and Saxon pirates raided the Channel. NEW MAP: Europe 276: Probus vs Florian (August 276) https://buff.ly/3uCtuH2 Tacitus was succeeded by his half-brother Florian, who was almost immediately challenged by the general Probus. NEW MAP: Europe 1814: Treaty of Kiel (14 January 1814) https://buff.ly/38JC9io In late 1813 allied Sweden invaded the Danish duchies of Schleswig and Holstein, forcing Denmark to sue for peace. By the Treaty of Kiel, Denmark agreed to cede Norway to Sweden and Heligoland to Britain.
