Awakening
Happy Winter Solstice ❄️ I’ve had the idea for this drawing for forever and was finally able to turn it into a fully-fledged illustration! I’ll also be doing a behind-the-scenes look at this drawing, though that may go up after Christmas :,)
It’s may again and like last year I plan to share some new merfolk paintings. To start this #mermay I’m sharing some of my past paintings in honor of this month.
I’m looking forward to a month with my feed filled with mermaids!

Ladies in Lilies
A collaboration with Marlowe Lune in the form of a card for their Merry Blackbird Postcard Society! Yikes, it’s the last day of Mermay! Just getting one in under the wire. This is a classic, old-school mermaid, so I did flat lighting to give it the feel of a Golden Age illustration :)

I’m so excited to share this one! I’ve been working on a collaboration with my husband to create a mini tabletop RPG called Far From the Fairground. We hope to release it this October! For now, enjoy one of the illustrations I created for the game!
