After so many years (two lol) I’ve finally completed The Giver trailer!!! If you’ve seen the concept art I’ve made for this, I’ve decided to try and incorporate as much of it as possible. Some of it…didn’t look too good, but I’m happy to say that I actually did finish this.
This isn’t a faithful adaptation, however. It’s more of a concept trailer for how I think the Giver would translate into animation. I took a lot of liberties, but overall I’m pretty ok with the final result. ;w;

It’s the one year anniversary since I started my fancomic, “Phantom in the Mirror,” and so I made a short promo for it for funsies lol. The comic’s all done (it’s my pinned post).
It started when I wanted to learn how to draw more stylized backgrounds, so I drew Vlad’s manor. I went on to collect a bunch of style guides/background art for the show and studied them so I could learn how to make the backgrounds. Then I thought, “this would be pretty cool to see how Phantom in the Mirror would look in the show’s style.” So I did this…
It was hard…but it was fun (; 7 ; )
