a crumbling church sits abandoned, do not go inside. you will not be the same thing when you come back out. there is nothing in there but empty space to spill devotion to a god that does not exist. those who remain there would eat away at what little of you is left until you also do not remember the beautiful tragedy of being human
do you see them marching in their rows
will they come back
or will they become just one more face
gone and forgotton
even in death
and the hills swallowed you whole

MODERN MONSTER FRIENDS
werewolf:has reminders in his phone for when the next full moons are, only posts photos of his girlfriend, his friends, the moon and the woods, dark messy hair, tan skin, pulls all nighters and sleeps all day (be prepared for random calls in the middle of the night asking if you want to go run around the woods with him, that or he just shows up to ur house), friendly but protective, scary looking (basically a big guard dog)
vampire:active on pretty much all their social media’s (they’re amazed by how advanced technology is now compared to hundreds of years ago), loves the gothic aesthetic, has immaculate style and make up, hypnotising eyes, does bold eyeliner with multiple wings, has a wide range of random knowledge (prepare for fun facts from hundreds of years ago), sometimes turns into a little bat to avoid responsibilities
ghost:nervous around new people, rarely posts their face if ever, has amazing music taste (they’re actually very proud of it), texts back very energetically compared to their slightly awkward irl personality, has many online friends, likes video games, wears comfy clothes constantly, sometimes parts of their body phase through things when they space out (has happened and they have slipped through tables before), despises walking so they usually float around
frankenstein:charges your phone for you if they like you, their hair is slightly frizzy (it’s the static), is actually very good at sewing (someone has to put them back together when their stitches come undone), can detach and reattach body parts however they rarely do bc “it’s a pain having to stitch it back on”, doesn’t really need sleep bc they can be re-energised through electricity, is very into clothes with stitches that can be seen, rarely swims due to their fear of electrocuting everyone in the water, is scared of fire
zombie:seems very apathetic and serious but that’s just their face they actually love you very much and are incredibly clumsy (who can blame them they literally don’t have a brain and their body is rotting), thankfully they have an incredibly high pain tolerance, like frankenstein they can detach and reattach body parts however they don’t need stitches (they once threw their hand at you when you asked them for a hand with something), despises sports due to their lack of coordination
