6utt:

During childhood, both Guren and Shinya were trained to not be vulnerable at any cost, because of their positions (with Guren being the next head of the Ichinose clan and Shinya literally fighting and killing to survive).

And considering that childhood is something that affects people the most and builds their foundation, I think they normalized having their physical and emotional defences up. It should be really tough for them to let their guard down.

So it’s very special and endearing that they let each other see them at their weakest points.
Guren cried, holding dying Shinya in his arms. Shinya also almost cried and lashed out at Guren during a couple of times.

It shows that they trust each other and let themselves be exposed, feeling safe enough to do so. ❤

Random comment of the day:

They look cute but I really hate it that whenever these girls change into a new outfit they have to go all blushy blushy showing their new look to the boys (more specifically Guren) as if they caaaaaaannn’t live without having Guren’s approval.

Random comment of the day:

I find it so funny how everytime Guren met a new Mikado no Oni member (Shinya, Mito, Kureto, Aoi, etc.) one of the first thing he thinks of is if he can kill them. Social skills 100%

Yuuichiro in chapter 59 when Guren revealed about his resurrection plan. Guren had still then not caused any major harm to the squad.

Yuu in chapter 99 when Guren talks about his resurrection plan. This guy had killed Mika,Mirai and desecrated the corpse of Yoichi’s sister. He betrays people every 5 seconds.

Ok, so I was just confused about something… and that is how is Guren just like ‘floating’ or maybe 'standing’ in mid-air????

Mika is right!

(Thos image is from the end of volume 1 after the afterword)

Kagami Should Have Allowed Hyakuya Sect to Kidnap Yuu and Asuramaru (and take Mika as well ig)

So basically, I think many can agree that this whole Shikama-possessing-Shinoa arc was pointless bullshit which didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things since Shikamadoji ditched her in chapter 103 and our main cast are the same group of assholes as they were before with their IQ dwindling with time and our main character being in dire need of a psychiatrist. (I laughed so hard typing this )

Now, by the title, you may wonder why I would have wanted the plot to go in that direction.

Firstly, let’s see why this arc was pointless:

  1. Shikama possessed Shinoa, caused some havoc and then was sealed using the sinful keys. The FIRST PROGENITOR himself was awakened and his awakening was powerful enough to cause all Vampires to rush to him. This guy did not kill a single person. Can you believe that? We should have atleast one scene or something where Shikama kills off atleast a large no. Of Hyakuya sect soldiers or something.
  2. Kimizuki and Yoichi decided to run away somewhere far from the battlefield only to return back to the squad.
  3. Saito was tricked by Ferid only for Urd to come and save his ass. (Ironically, it was Ferid who called the Vampire Progenitor Council to Japan)
  4. Shinya got a power up only to get his ass kicked and get used to provide Guren with his life energy.
  5. Saito’s men were supposed to capture Yuu and Asuramaru and take them to Ikebukuro only for Guren to come and save them.
  6. Asuramaru and the other black demons come into picture only to again get defeated by Yuu and his squad so easily.
  7. Asuramaru wants to explain things but Yuu doesn’t listen because plot is forced into Guren’s direction.
  8. Krul makes an appearance, deals with Mitsuba and Shinoa’s boob and vomit bullshit, talks about her deal with Mahiru and then gets sidelined as Shinoa’s supervisor and DOESN’T EVEN MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN CHAPTER 104.
  9. Kimizuki and Yoichi show some resistance only to follow Guren because he is going to resurrect their sisters.
  10. Guren is like ‘aight aight I am going to resurrect everyone through genocide’ and Shinoa squad is 'okie dokie Guren we believe in you :D’

I don’t like the fact that Guren has become a Gary Sue in this arc. In cat16, I used to love the fact that everything was so realistic. Guren didn’t win easily against strong enemies. He was struggling to get things done. He was weak and that made him a relatable character. In the main manga, he ain’t that relatable since he wants to resurrect all of humanity(I know he is traumatized but still). However, I think this resurrection will not have consequences of the world being destroyed. This time, Guren needs Yuu, Mika and Asuramaru for it. The last time it needed death of many humans and demons and death of a vampire progenitor. Also, the seraph of the end experiment wasn’t completed at that time. Let’s see how Guren is a Gary Sue here:

  • Tricks Saito and gets all the sinful keys from him.
  • He seals off Shikama quickly in one chapter (84)
  • Shinya gets power up to be defeated and give Guren more life energy.
  • Guren is easily forgiven by Shinoa squad when he cries a bit. They become fine with Mika being turned into cursed gear. Yoichi is with Yuu in the family bullshit as if he didn’t abandon him some time ago. Grand family speeches are given for no fucking reason and pages are wasted. They don’t react to Mika being shikama doji’s son because Kagami wants things to go smoothly for Guren.
  • Krul also sides with Guren and said that she would silence Shinoa squad if necessary.
  • Asuramaru and the black demons are told to shut up by Yu and the squad.
  • Shinoa also becomes loyal all of a sudden to him and forgets the fact that he killed Mirai and Mika (well she got drunk so maybe she doesn’t give a fuck about them). Mitsuba believes in Guren because Shinoa says to do so.

Now, I wanted the plot to go into the direction the title suggests.

In this arc, the Hyakuya Sect suddenly appeared and kidnapped Yuu. Their leader, Saito launched missiles in order to destroy the JIDA. His men fought with the JIDA for some time and then allowed their life energy to be absorbed by Saito so that he can fight against the First.

Now, the LN readers know what the Hyakuya Sect is but to be frank, even we don’t know THAT much about the Hyakuya Sect since Guren was the protagonist and his life story revolves more around Mikado no Oni. We know that the Hyakuya Sect and Mikado no Oni were in war with each other to see who creates Cursed Gear first. They then later joined hands to create it. We know that they were the first to do the Seraph of the end experiments.

The main manga onlys don’t have much idea what Hyakuya Sect is other than that they experimented on Yuu and Mika. Here are some panels where the Hyakuya Sect and Saito were discussed.

(Its good to see Mika not think about Yuu for 5 seconds)

The next time the Hyakuya Sect came into the picture was when they came to fight the war against the JIDA. This whole build up was perfect to then see Hyakuya Sect kidnap them.

There is so much about the Hyakuya Sect we don’t know:

  • How does the whole organization work? Like do they have Clans working under them like with Mikado no Oni?
  • Are all the humans there aware of the fact that their leader is a Second Progenitor Vampire? Don’t they freak out working with him?
  • How did Saito convince all the humans there to fight for him?
  • How did the whole process of turning Saito into a Vampire-demon came about?
  • More detail on Mika’s past at the orphanage and how experiments were conducted?
  • In the post-apocalyptic world, do they have to deal with vampires?
  • How was Jigenso invented? It is a really unique cursed gear that only they have-

And so much more…..

We also know Saito has a grand plan in mind…

So this is how I would want this arc to go:

  • Kimizuki,Yoichi and dead Mirai meet up with Narumi and tells him what happened and they take shelter somewhere for now.
  • Yuu, Asuramaru and Mika are taken to Ikebukuro.
  • Once Shinoa is freed from possession, Mitsuba meets her and they are the only ones to meet up with Guren later and they QUESTION him.
  • Krul comes there and sees her brother is not there and questions Guren and Mahiru about it.
  • Saito is tricked by Ferid but Urd helps him and then escapes to meet with Yuu and Mika.

This could have been the beginning of Mika’s own character arc where his past with the Hyakuya orphanages and connection with Saito is explored more in detail with no Yuu in it. Yuu would still be involved but still Mika will his own things to think about.

Apparently, Kagami only wants Mika to think about Yuu and no one else :’) (he is a fucking demon now but he is still thinking about Yuu)

The Hyakuya Sect has so much relevance in Mika and Yuu’s lives than the JIDA. Moreover, it was Saito who brought Yuu to Mika!!

We could have gotten so much info with this. The Hyakuya Sect achieves something by attacking the JIDA. However, in the canon version, their test subject has escaped and they don’t know where their leader is. The First got sealed but just look at what Saito says here:

The First getting sealed served no purpose because according to the most recent chapters Shikama doji is going to reach Mika(Mikaela) and Yuu(Sun God Aten) and that is something Saito didn’t want to happen.

In conclusion, the Hyakuya Sect didn’t achieve shit and it is infuriating for me to see this golden opportunity that Kagami missed >:(

Everything is still going according to the First’s plan.

Kagami robbed us of the Mika and Saito confrontation . It would have been great to see Mika’s reaction to seeing his beloved Uncle after 8 years and also remember the info Guren and Ferid him about Saito. I would have definitely loved the whole Yuu-Saito-Mika screentime.

I think everybody would have loved this and would find this more interesting than Guren’s family and resurrection bullshit. Also, unlike Guremahi, my man Saito has a fucking plan.

I found this on Reddit where someone gave their views on Yuuichiro’s character and this makes so much sense. (Credit to the one who wrote this. I own nothing)

This is not to excuse Yuu’s behaviour. Chapter numbers are shown in ( ).

So why does Yuu blindly follow Guren? Because Yuu is a believer. No, it’s better to call him a fanatic. And Guren is his prophet.

The Beginning It began in (13) when he discovers Mika is alive. Yuu is tembling, wide-eyed, crying. After the battle (15), he awakens in hospital, realizes that seeing Mika wasn’t a dream and trembles and cries again, smiling - elated - and says “Thank God”. That’s the first time he says that. If you recall in (4), he told Kimizuki: “I was always in a different league than you anyway. The only person grading me who counts is me.” He was his own authority, but now there’s God.

Then he goes on to say how blessed he is to have his friends. He’s docile and grateful. The entire squad comments on his unusual behaviour. (Kimizuki & Yoichi notice it a second time). He’s undergone a fundamental change. This is a boy who’s seen the light. He’s a newborn believer. A miracle happened: Mika is alive! And the person who foretold it…. was Guren.

(In support of this, if you look at (13)’s title page art, Guren looks as if standing on a mountain with the light behind him. This light (the cross and circle) is called a mock sun. It’s a type of solar halo and it’s situated behind Guren’s head. There is nothing Guren does on that battlefield to merit that image. So I argue that this is a depiction of what’s going on in Yuu’s head, which is the start of Guren’s apotheosis, and it came about due to the title of the chapter: “Reunion of Childhood Friends”.)

Guren (16): “I’m not your friend. [I’m y]our superior. The guy you owe your life to. Your surrogate father. Put all those together and I’m practically a god to you.”

Rules to Live By Two important outcomes happen soon after Yuu wakes up. I’ll start with the creation of the family.

A common strategy in indoctrination is implementing binary thinking - us/them, saved/unsaved, etc. So first a group forms by what makes them different from everyone else. Second, those differences determine how the group will act. Third, they must protect that difference. (Cuevas, 2013)

This is what happens in (23) when the Shinoa squad gets together. They agree they’re family, making it their distinguishing feature. They go on to decide rules and agree to follow Guren. The third requirement they show throughout the manga with increasing intensity (esp Yuu). They don’t do things for teammates because they’re worried or care but because they’re family.

The heart of that family is Yuu. Kimizuki tells Shinoa in (19) how the group handles Yuu will decide if he (and Yoichi) considers this friends/family thing real. They agree. In fact, the chapter title where he says this is called “Cause for Madness” and the title art is of Yuu. (Mika is also shown suffering for Yuu.)

“Do you ever think that maybe this whole ‘being friends’ thing… is just another part of their experiments?” -Mika talking about “family” and the army, Chap 43: Where It All Begins

Now we’ll go back to (17). Kureto interrogates Yuu and tortures his friends. Yuu learns that Guren is at odds with Kureto and will have to choose between them, but also that Guren has a particular goal that I will call The Plan. Yuu doesn’t know what The Plan is, but it’s not a hard call choosing Guren. Kureto is “rotten” and Yuu owes Guren, as Guren explained on and on in (16).

The problem is Yuu wants Mika back, so if Guren helps him get Mika, Guren can use him AND Mika for The Plan (sacrificing them both). Guren considers it and accepts, because they’re family.

With the deal struck and the squad in agreement, their value system as Yuu sees it has been established:

Family is: Mika + Guren + the Shinoa squad

Family takes care of family

If family betrays you, you don’t betray them back

The family follows Guren

*It’s ok to sacrifice family if it’s for The Plan

Proof of Concept The Negoya missions are where “family” is expanded beyond the core group. (24)

New rule added: 5. Anyone who’s “with us” is friends/family too.

Yuu continues to show unusual behaviour and Guren is proud of the changes he sees. Yuu has fully accepted the concept of family, even if the other members haven’t.

Then Guren is taken. Their attempt to retake him fails. Yuu can’t stand down because Guren is family, and to show why that is, we’re given a scene from when Yuu was young. In it, Guren says, “If it hurts so bad you wanna die, concentrate on revenge instead. Live. Live until you find a new reason for life. If you do… then some day… you’ll find people who’ll need you (panel showing his new squad).”

Although Guren shows affection here, that isn’t why Guren is family. If it had been, Yuu would have accepted the idea long before he met the squad. What makes this a key moment is that Guren revealed to him the path to finding what he wanted most. It’s very interesting that this scene is in the chapter (33) called “Demon’s Lullaby.”

He does whatever it takes to get Guren. Yuu’s extremism isn’t new. He explained it in (9) that he was the type to turn into a devil or demon - betray others - for family. But this time it was his squad going to great lengths to save him.

Mika (36) Like Guren did to Yuu, Yuu tells Mika to live. Unlike Guren, Yuu tells Mika to live for him. Mika may be unhappy and ashamed, but Yuu’s downright giddy. Mika turning into a vampire was the right decision and he had Guren to thank. Mika doesn’t like how Yuu’s talking about the guy, how willing he is to be sacrificed.

Even more, Yuu learned that saving isn’t free. Mika’s now obligated to help Yuu rescue Guren and the squad. Mika is shocked, even horrified by this “obligation”. This isn’t the Yuu Mika knew. (In (1), Yuu wouldn’t take advantage of a sacrifice.) Yuu shuts down all arguments until Mika shuts up. He would rather die than not save them, despite just making a pact with Mika to live.

Crises of Faith There are two pillars that uphold Yuu’s belief: A miracle gave him his reason to live, and family.

The Negoya Airport is where the second pillar is brought into question. Guren has just killed family. Yuu is shaking, crying, begging to know if the family thing was ever real. This is a betrayal. Then Guren cries.

Ah. Yuu’s been through this before with Yoichi. (This is a way out of his dilemma!) This demon isn’t Guren. He isn’t responsible. He needs to be saved.

The first pillar is questioned in (44). Yuu realizes that Guren and Ferid may have orchestrated everything that happened to Yuu in (1) - played him. If they contrived it, then there was no miracle. The last moment he recalls just before reaching that verdict is when Guren mentioned the prophecy. Yuu’s eyes glow as he angrily rejects him being complicit. Yuu gives Guren the benefit of the doubt and moves the goalpost. Guren must be a victim. Everything started before the Catastrophe.

(Rule 5 is tested with Ferid. Yuu bargains with himself to make their alliance work because Ferid is working with Guren (52).)

When Yuu meets up with Guren in Osaka he’s rewarded for thinking the way he did. Not only is Guren not possessed and doing well but he divulges that - yes - there is someone else behind it all. He’s coy about who it is but he does tell them he intends to resurrect the world. Wow! Guren doesn’t just have a plan, he has The Ultimate Plan! He’s a visionary. What Yuu has come to believe of family aligns perfectly with what Guren wants to do.

Mika, however, rejects It. (58-59) He attacks Guren, fails, then Kimizuki and Yoichi get in the way. He tries to persuade them the man is a liar, that this plan doesn’t make sense, that resurrection is wrong, that Yuu is being used out of greed (they all were). And if you add the fact that Mikaela means “Who Is Like God?”, intended to guide people to Him, Mika is essentially saying Guren is a false prophet, a “mock sun”. He’s alone in this belief (Crowley is sidelined so panels show Mika the only one in white) and his words don’t reach any of them. Yet he stays because he has to protect Yuu (and Yuu asked him to).

Yuu (59): “That you’re doing something like this to me, your family… means that you think it absolutely necessary, right?” Yuu acknowledges here that The Plan is greater than family. It’s also in a way making sure this is the real Guren. Once that condition is met, he doesn’t question Guren, even refuses extra information. The chapter is called “Who’s your Owner?” It’s not a flattering way to call Yuu’s relationship to Guren. The title picture is of Guren and Mika is in the way.

The Way is Clear Guren is great. Guren killed 90% of the population, but he had his reasons. Human experimentation? Yuu’s shocked at first, but Guren has his reasons.

Yuu has his purpose, his family, Mika, and Guren is back. Yuu is high off his good fortune and continues to be rewarded. He’s getting stronger and managing to do what was thought as impossible. Saving a 6th Trumpet? No problem. He’s so sure he’ll succeed that he doesn’t consider Asuramaru will fail to hold the seraph back so Yuu can do his thing. Now there are no more horsemen. (69) All the people they saved are now friends, and although to save had this connotation before, he makes a more direct connection that saving people can mean bringing them in (or bringing them back) to the family. Look at his smiles. He’s a young man of faith and he’s on the right path. He’s happy.

He tried to convince Mika that Guren is great, but Mika doesn’t give in. Yet he admits that hanging around Yuu “really throws him off” (63). He can’t convince Yuu to drop his trust in Guren either. His arguments are always thrown back at him. Mika can’t win. However, he does acknowledge the squad as worthy family. (90).

The Beginning of the End (The First Thing that Goes Wrong) Mika dies.

Like usual, Yuu offers up his life to save someone. Though one thing is different: he begs a higher power (90). Mika wasn’t just family, he was Yuu’s miraclehis gift, his Mika.

Unfortunately, in Mika’s attempt to protect Yuu, he said Guren was possessed. Yuu has already solved this problem. Mika’s death can’t be Guren’s fault.

If Yuu had thought him responsible, then it would become a betrayal of family. Since family can’t betray family back (rule 3), the simplest solution would be to kick them out. (Us vs Them.) Once they’re out, nothing done to them is a betrayal. They’re fair game. And this is exactly what happens to Asuramaru.

Of course Yuu is very upset, but (94) Krul gives Yuu hope that Mika can be saved. He’s ecstatic, but he’s still not right. He talks in gibberish (95). He’s confused (98-99) when Guren shows up. Guren intends to do to Mika what Krul said. They’re on the same side? Family saving family? Of course!

Throughout the story, Yuu uses contradiction to accommodate his desire to save, now one is used against him and Kimizuki challenges it: Guren killed Mika to save him. Yuu sweatdrops. He should show grief or anger because Guren killed Mika, right? Instead he acts unsure. Guren cries and reaffirms his convictions. This is about saving humanity, remember? This is about The Plan - the Bestest Plan!

When Mika calls for him, Yuu knows he’ll succeed in saving Mika because he’s stronger, because he has this huge family who cares for him. How could they go wrong? (101)

While writing this it occurred to me what Asuramaru is probably referring to when he talked about Yuu’s fear. One fixated on Mikaela (since it started there). A fear/desire so great that Yuu’s well-known and extreme desire to save people becomes a desire like any other. One that makes Yuu reassure himself by saying “save mika” a whopping 15 times in the Japanese version. One that Asuramaru doesn’t know.

“What are you so scared of…” -Asuramaru, sweatdropping (102)

I suspect Yuu’s greatest fear is that he was wrong. He was wrong about Guren and everything associated with him. Mika had died protecting Yuu from Guren - Asuramaru made sure Yuu didn’t miss that (90), had tried to warn him, and If Yuu was wrong, then he killed and turned Mika into this.

Yuu strikes me as panicked. He decided Asuramaru’s fate too quickly, and the save Mika mantra is absurd. Yuu’s worldview is on the verge of unraveling. This is why I believe Guren’s authority is written to ultimately fail. And so as Kagami said, the story would be indeed just getting started.

Indoctrination- to impart beliefs through psychological pressures or a false authority

Fanatic- a person exhibiting excessive enthusiasm and uncritical devotion; insane person

What do yall think about this?

Guren, Mahiru and Ferid Bathory are conspiring against Krul.

Ok,so I have been thinking about this for a long time and have decided to make a post about it. If yall must have have read the Resurrection at 19 light novel volume 2, you must be aware that Ferid Bathory had extended his hand to Guren and asked him if he wanted to work with him to kill Saito, who he knew had been manipulating Guren for some time. Mahiru did interrupt this conversation saying that he is in the way of their plans and killing him is necessary. Volume 2 ended on the point where Mahiru who had possessed Guren was going to fight Ferid. Although the volume ended at that point and Volume 3 is not released yet, by reading the main manga we know that Ferid is working with Guren and Mahiru now. However, it does seem to me that these people are conspiring against Krul considering the events that she has been through now in the main manga?

Ok so do yall remember the time when Krul was captured by Ferid in his mansion? Ferid had exposed Krul in front of the Progenitor Council and said that she was in league with the humans and their seraph of the end experiment. He then said that he would hand over her to them when they come to Japan. Hence, he captured her in his mansion.

Saito came there and talked to Krul. Here, you can see that Krul was asking Saito if he asked Ferid Bathory to capture her.

Saito then says that he discarded Ferid a long time ago and has no connection with him at all.

Even after Saito says that, Krul still continues to think that he is his lackey.

What I am wondering is why doesn’t Krul know that Ferid is actually Guren and Mahiru’s ally? Krul is working with Guren and Mahiru to get her brother back from the First and Ferid is working with them to get his revenge on Saito. Why are such things being hidden from Krul? Ferid could tell her that he is also working with Guren and Mahiru to complete his goals unless they have some plans to betray her or manipulate her later on. Although this is Ferid’s doing, I am sure Guren and Mahiru must have some involvement since Krul must be important for their plans to succeed. She also doesn’t know that the duo is working with Saito.

Also, I think it is clear that Krul doesn’t know that Saito controls the Hyakuya Sect. She knew that he had left his post as a Second Progenitor but she didn’t know what he was up to now. In fact, she didn’t even know who he was when she saw his face let alone knowing he controls the Hyakuya Sect.

Later, the Progenitor Council declared both Ferid and Krul as traitors and gave them the punishment that they will be exposed to sunlight for 10 days. In that chapter, Guren tells his squad that they have to go to Osaka and the exposure torture of both vampires happened at Osaka bay and I am sure the trio must have discussed this before and planned on rescuing Ferid afterwards.

In one of those chapters, it was said that Ferid’s own crucifixion was part of his plan. I also think that Mahiru and Guren only wanted to rescue Ferid and not Krul although they said they would rescue both.

Here, Mahiru comes to see Ferid and even he notices her and looks at her. She doesn’t even pay attention to Krul. Before the punishment began, Krul had also asked Ferid if he had a way of getting out of that mess but he said no. He lied to her at that time.

Also, when the group was fighting Ky Luc, you can see that Ky Luc thought about sacrificing Ferid freed him from that cross-shaped thing to protect himself. He literally reduced their workload and on top of that, this was before Yuu even activated his seraph.

When Ky Luc was fighting Yuu and Guren, Crowley had time to go and rescue Krul at that time. Although he is slower than Ky Luc, it would take him fractions of a second to go and free Krul but he didn’t. He focused on Ferid. I think Ferid must have told Crowley that rescuing only him was the plan. I may be wrong but the way Mahiru and Ferid were exchanging glances does suggest something ig.

In one of the chapters during the war between the Hyakuya Sect and the JIDA, Mahiru mentioned that Krul would be ‘on her way’ so I think they knew that once the First awakens, all the vampires will be aware of his presence. They must have known that the vampires would arrive there so they must have anticipated Krul coming there as per their plan.

I also wonder why did they plan on exposing Krul to the vampire progenitor council. She lost her credibility and reputation as a queen. She lost the absolute authority that she had. The trio seemed to have planned this and look at what Guren says to Krul that sounds like a threat or a warning probably.

Ok so what would have happened if Krul was rescued along with Ferid? She would know that he is working with them and is in league with the JIDA. She would know that Mahiru and Guren are working with Saito. I think that they must have wanted to hide such things from her maybe since they are just going to use her and discard her later on. It may be that they are only working with her to get information on the First and to get to her brother.

Noya when possessing Guren had said that with Mika,Yuu and Ashera together, Guren might get the wish that he has hoped for so long which probably would be the resurrection of his friends. Guren did say in chapter 99 that he would resurrect humanity in front of Krul but I don’t think she knows that he PROBABLY might be using Ashera for that.

I may be wrong about them betraying Krul but just some of these things don’t feel right.

So what do yall think about this?

Ok so I know that many people are mad at shinoa squad for continuing to support Guren although he has done lot of bad stuff. I have the read the light novels and I like guren and let me tell yall he was manipulated to trigger the catastrophe and I know that he has done things like killing mika and being involved in the death of Yu’s family. However, I think that he might turn out to be the hero at the end of the day and those things he did were for a reason and I am sure it will be explained in the future chapters. As far as Shinoa squad is concerned, they are continuing to follow Guren’s instructions which makes people mad but do they really have a choice?

Is there any other ADULT in these circumstances that they can trust and hope for to guide them on what’s going on? Ferid is not trustworthy at all. Krul was an option which the squad considered but she is on Guren’s side. Ferid is also on Guren’s side. Shikamadouji says he wants to rescue Mika but Krul said that he wants to use him in his experments. He ordered the black demons to capture Mika’s soul and they were planning to literally crush his heart and take him into themselves or something like that. He also possessed Shinoa so they won’t trust him. Now, yall might say Narumi but I think Narumi would side with guren because he wants his squad to be resurrected so he will not rebel against him.

People have been planning things behind their backs and they have little to no idea about it. Before the catastrophe, there was a lot of political shit that happened between the two largest magical organisations of Japan, the Order of the Imperial Demons and the Hyakuya Sect which is given in detail in the light novels. Mika, Yuu, Kimizuki and Yoichi were all civilians before the catastrophe and don’t know anything about these magical organisations and their strength. Mitsuba is a Sanguu but wasn’t involved in the war between these 2 organisations at all. Shinoa was part of this war with Guren but even she was unaware of many things that were going on. They were only 8 years old at that time.

They have known Guren for 4 years and atleast for now, he is the only one on whom they can rely on to give them information. There is no one else who can guide them currently.

Cat16: Shinoa’s bonds

Day 25:Cat16 Advent Calendar

Once again merry Christmas and happy Birthday, Shinoa!

Well, about this edit… I think that Shinoa’s interactions with the older generation are terribly underrated! Ofc some of her bonds are rather controversial (you know, Kureto and Mahiru), but I wanted to show the tiny positive moments, moments of love and care Shinoa experienced as a kid. My favorite bond is… her bond with Goshi. I mean ikemen-senpai and beautiful angel! Imagine their power! He acted so goofy trying to cheer her up. Also I really wish she shared more moments with Sayuri-chan (totally not biased ahaha). And I really want Hīagi family members to act like a normal family! Kureto, pls, not interrogating is a bare minimum

Okay can someone pls tell me why the FUCK is Yuu and Guren fighting? I cant tell if their just trying to determine whose stronger or is it something they disagree on???

Yuu: Guys I figured out why the vampire progenitors are always High ranked!

Mika: okay, why?

Yuu: Because their always ‘High’

Mika: -_-

Guren: -_-

Shinya: *snorts*

Shinoa squad:……..

Krul&Lest: So you have chosen death

Crowley&Urd: *Face palm*

Ky: *laughs nervously, manifests his sword*

Ferid & Rigr: *laughs nervously*

Kureto: *someone put this child out of his misery*

Every single Fucking Vampire around the world:o_O

✨Bonus:

All the demons: *Laughing hysterically*
