Thème 4: Les percussions sont mises en valeur pour rendre l’atmosphère lourde et oppressante des Forges d’Isengard, avec le rythme obstiné a cinq temps, martelé, parmi d’autres, par la grosse caisse, les caisses japonaises et même des chaînes en métal déployées à l’intérieur du piano droit préparé. Les cors et les trombones égrènent le thème simple dans leurs registres graves. Thème 7: Avec le sujet de la Communauté (Thème 1), la magnifique mélodie que représente In Dreams constitue l’un des points forts de la partition. Entendue aux flûtes ou chantée en anglais, elle déploie sa ligne rêveuse, nous enveloppant dans un monde magique qu’on peine a quitter:

I like The Lord of the Rings movies and books as well. Tolkien created a fantastic world with interesting creatures and mithology. And I really like to immerse myself in it. (Especially when I read it.)
And a movies soundtrack’s are amazing to. The ride of the Rohirrim was my ringtone for many years.
