I want to take this moment to remember all the people, men and women, that took up arms in the Resistance and gave everything they had in the fight for freedom from the oppressors.
My thanks goes to them, for allowing everyone who came after them to live in a free, democratic country, but it also goes to the people that to this day still fight in the name of freedom and a better future for the next generations.
The fight for freedom lives on, let us never allow evils like those we saw in the last century show their face again.

Anyone attending any of the three Pierce the Veil Melbourne shows listen up! Here’s all the info you need to know.
First of all, if you haven’t checked your email, check it. It should have basic information about VIP. If you haven’t gotten an email, ring the venue and they can tell you what you need to know OR you can just read this post. (I only know the VIP times for the show on the 20th so that’s why you need to check your email!)
(20th AUGUST VIP: Doors are open from 10am-10:50am. Arrive any later and you’ll be unable to meet the band.)
As soon as you arrive you get your VIP package and have early access to merchandise. After you get merchandise you line up to meet the band. After the meet and greet, you are able to cloak your bag and/or go straight to the floor. There are less than 100 people per meet and greet so you will be guaranteed an amazing spot.
People who ‘love nature’ but violently hate their native coyotes, spiders, snakes, and scavengers are fake.
Here’s the thing about the post. You don’t have to love or even like every animal. You can dislike things! Humane, intelligent pest control is fine and necessary. This isn’t the issue and never has been.
It’s violent, blind hatred and hypocrisy that’s the problem. People who gush over foxes and owls and hawks but want coyotes and snakes dead in the next breath. People who will rescue prey from predators because predation is mean. People who find it appropriate to leave sadistic comments on pictures of spiders or snakes someone is appreciating or owns. People who insist on labeling species as ‘good’ or ‘evil’. This is the sort of behavior that bothers me.
People who only appreciate nature when it’s aesthetically pleasing to them and want to destroy the parts they find ugly and unpleasant don’t truly understand or love it. They love an ideal that isn’t actually representative of reality.

There is a re-occurring quest of sorts in Final Fantasy XIV called ‘Wondrous Tails’, and it is given to you in Idyllshire by a young Miqo’te named Khloe Aliapoh. By re-completing past content, you can earn stickers in order to make lines across a card in a style similar to bingo, with each finished line netting all sorts of prizes once the journal is turned in.
In much the same way, ‘Wondrous Tails of FFXIV’ is a month-long event that utilizes a prompt-filled bingo card format to encourage fans tell the stories of their OCs and self-inserts in an environment with minimal restrictions and maximum possibilities.
It is open to both visualandwrittenmedia, and anyone that participates with at least one valid entry is entered for a raffle that takes place after the end of the event.
