WIP (work in progress) the digital colouring of the sketch above. Nowhere near done (probably 2-4 more hours), and not sure what style I’ll go with in the long run.
This cc set is very much a WIP, and I will never be great at it, but still fun to chip away at and try to create.
Aaravos as of now (only hair not mine: Kijiko) likely won’t make pants or boots for this, nor will his topmost layer/caplette+train be transparent (…I don’t think).

These are the glowy version of his tattoos and eyes. There will also be the regular version in the same packages. Eyes will have 25 variations including the opalescent glowing ones. Tattoos will have his colouring and a version with no skin overlay and just the tattoos. Horns are still massively wip.
Have some Janai & Amaya from The Dragon Prince! If it’s hard to tell, they’re doing a joint ASL “I Love You” sign. Amaya has her pinkie up, Janai her index finger, and both their thumbs.
I accidentally deleted the question, but I was asked how I draw, as in the process I use.
Really, there’s not a lot to it. I’m not much of a planner for most of the work I do: it’s literally the desire to draw and an idea coming to me, then putting it down.
I don’t do preliminary sketches, rarely use references, and finish most everything I start in a few hours. Using references and making preliminary sketches to nail down the pose/lighting/etc is actually very useful… I’m just too lazy.
The vast majority of what you see was done on-the-fly. I refine sketches to “finished” product in one sitting and on the same canvas, whether traditional or digital. That’s why a lot of my stuff is overworked.
I want to change that, the not planning part, so I can improve, and use references more but I always tell myself that’s cheating even though I KNOW it’s not. I know anatomy, but it’s like the light in my brain goes out when I sit to draw and it kinda goes like this.
Brain: Oooooh, idea! Let’s do this!
Hand: Yeah, man, let’s go! Okay, so, what does a hand look like?
Brain: …you’re kidding right?
Hand: What? Kidding? No. Does it look like this?
Brain: No.
Hand: This? Orrrrrrr… Is it like this, maybe?
Brain: No, stop drawing random lines! You ARE a hand, and there are two of you here to look at and use as references!
Hand: This?
Brain: OMG, you’re driving me insane. Skip to the face! Faces are the best anyway.
Hand: So, we’ll come back to the hand?
Brain: We’ll see. If anything, we’ll crop it into a headshot and not have to bother with it, or the clothes, or a background.
Hand: Right. So, now, how do you draw a face? Is it like this?
Brain: … Let’s just stop. This isn’t working.
The above is pretty accurate and it’s very frustrating. So, instead of looking at images, I keep drawing over my own lines until I get something reasonably close or leave it vague. It’s a very bad habit.
And if working in colour: I USE AS MANY AS POSSIBLE!
Mephisto appearing behind him: “Something the matter?”
Shirou glances wearily at Mephisto, but isn’t startled at the sudden intrusion.
Shirou:“Nothing important. I just don’t know if I should bother celebrating the holidays with the boys. I didn’t have a happy childhood and don’t believe in much, so makes it hard to be jolly …but they see the displays around town and ask why we don’t do anything ourselves.”
Mephisto:“Well, you could always celebrate Christmas, you being a priest and all.”
Shirou: “Yeah but apart from mass, there’s just Santa, and I don’t want to start lying outright to them about a fat guy bringing presents.”
Mephisto: “Well, there’s always Krampus. He’s very real. I could even have him put in an appearance.”
Shirou: “You mean invite a baby snatching demon …to visit my two small children?”
Mephisto: “Hardly. He’s grossly misrepresented in the media.”
Shirou:“He snatches kids, puts ‘em in a sack, beats them and does God knows what else to them!”
Mephisto, affronted: “I beg your pardon! It was one time and quite an unfortunate misunderstanding! For the record, they were two strapping young lads from the village near my gingerbread-styled villa! They came willingly to participate in yuletide merriment and I was nothing but a gracious host. We had our fun then they stole quite a bit, running off saying I tried to cook and in my oven and eat them after getting them into the ‘sack’! That sort of behaviour was frowned on back then and they vilified me! I had to uproot that house and put it in a spare dimension before rioting villagers could burn it down. It had cost a fortune and you wouldn’t believe how long it took to construct.”
Shirou: “I don’t know what disturbs me the most in what you just said, but keep you and your sack away from my kids.”
Annnnd here’s a sketch of Mephisto’s take on the original story of Krampus.
Mephisto: “See? Totally legal, consensual and all parties involved are partaking in the yuletide fun. No children, let alone children in sacks.”

Mephisto said even he doesn’t have the power to alter an existing timeline, so we’re stuck with what 2020 was. Our alternate selves apparently had a blast. Lucky them.

Really want to see Amaimon and Shiemi’s fight in the coming chapters. I wonder if it’s happening before or during the other scene we are seeing with the rest of the gang. Don’t really want her to “subjugate” him, but beat him then work as a team.
