I always forget how much of a wild ride Children of Dune is until I start reading about forty pages a day because I tell myself “just one more chapter”

Thought I’d finish this sooner but my computer has been acting funny so I had to take it over into Procreate…that, and the anatomy of the og version was so awkward that I resorted to using some 3D models to get the poses right.

Anyways!  Thought it was high time I drew The Bat and Cat in costume (or rather, the costumes I redesigned for them)!

I’ve been obsessing over BatCat lately and found the perfect ref for them soooo…

Been meaning to get around to this pic for a whole month now!  Anyways, here’s Wonder Woman in a mash up of some of my fave aspects of her various costumes for the DC AU I’ve been toying around with since 2017 8′D

This is also a bit of a redraw of an older piece (warning: terrible old art)

I started a whole BatCat AU with a friend and it’s been one of the few things I’ve been consistently drawing for the last month aha

Used some ref for the poses from Pinterest, also slapped a photo in there for the bg from a trip to Hearst Castle since the architecture there looked Italian enough to pass for Tuscany ✌

Reading Dune Messiah and thought I’d try drawing up Edric

Obsessing over comics again and had to draw my fave hero

My family has been watching through Batman TAS for the past few weeks and it’s put me in a very Bat mood.  I’ve drawn a lot of Superman and Wonder Woman (for the au I have obvs), but I’ve never really sat down and nailed Batman/Bruce, so here’s a stab at my interpretation of him!

Companion piece to this one!  Sort of fudged Rev. Mother Mohaim’s dialogue a bit but you get the idea: Bad Things in store for Duke Leto.  Sorry, son.

My interpretation of Paul Arteides based on my reread of Dune!  I was annoyed that a lot of artists depict him looking way too old to be fifteen, and I thought the youthful look helps to convey that he’s forced to grow up real quick considering what happens.

I am planning on doing a follow up piece with Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohaim, but I’ll save that for the weekend

I finally got to see Tenet this past weekend and it was fantastic

Last screenshot redraw for now!  I wanted to try my hand with mixing styles and going lineless for the bg but using my usual style with Arthur. ‘‘Twas fun!

I, Robot is another one of my all time favorite films, and this part just stood out to me as a good study!  Had a lot of fun with the lighting and I felt like I learned a lot when it comes to digitally painting screencaps in color, especially with blending ✌️

About an hour and a half study of a screenshot from Inception!  There’s so many parts I’d love to redraw but this was one of my faves
