I’m back with another Disney AU The other day I was scrolling on my feed and got nostalgic. My first post in The Arcana fandom was my Tangled!AU with Julian and Clara. I tought it’d be fun to go back to how I started, Disney movies always lighten my mood. I still can’t thank you guys enough for the sweet messages you left on my last post. Your comments, dms and additions to my post in your stories on insta, reblogs on tumblr made me smile. It showed me that there are truly amazing, supportive people in this fandom. Sometimes a family is two boyfriends, their dogs, and the worlds they’ve conquered together.
I’d like to introduce a new MC! His name is Nova (he/him), who originally hails from a nomadic tribe in the Scourgelands. He was raised by his aunt, an accomplished magician who taught Nova the basics of her craft when she wasn’t busy running the shop in Vesuvia. He became a blacksmith by trade, utilizing his aunt’s training to put enchantments on the weapons he forged for his clan’s warriors and hunters. He inherited the shop when his aunt became too old to properly look after it and used the money he earned to support the tribe.
Nova is a punk. If my MC Arlo is a cinnamon bun, Nova is a cinnamon bun with rusty nails in the batter - still sweet, but someone is definitely getting a tooth broken.
Rolling your eyes, you gently pushed his head back down onto your lap “Because you’re so obviously making that up,” you teased
“Am not!”
The proud count sulked, crossing his arms with a not-so-countly huff, refusing to look up at you. You breathed out, slowly running your fingers through his hair, feeling the cold dessert breeze run up your back.
He felt you shiver underneath him and sat up within seconds, scooping you up in his arms to warm you up. You both remained quiet, basking in each other’s warmth, his thumb running up and down your arm.
“You know,” you began slowly, looking up at him and pressing a kiss to his jaw “I already love you.” you felt his skin start to flush “You don’t need to try to impress me any more.”
Lucio shrugged, clearing his throat before speaking “I know,” he more whispered than spoke, coughing and repeating the phrase before falling back into silence.
Kissing his shoulder, you eased into him and closed your eyes.
This latest chapter real bad got me simpin’ I love his hair down, I love his outfit, I love the newest CG. I’ve just been beside myself the last couple days.
I think Lucio would be the quickest of the main 6 to tell MC he loves them
He’s just so desperate to hear them say it back, so desperate to have that confirmation that they’re not just messing with him; that they really do love him. He needs to know that what he’s feeling from you is genuine, because he’s never really experienced a real loving relationship.
