fma week 2014: day 2 → sins (greed)
“You want to bring back someone that you’ve lost. You might want money. Maybe you want women. Or, you might want to protect the world. These are all common things people want. Things that their hearts desire. Greed may not be good, but it’s not so bad, either. You humans think greed is just for money and power! But everyone wants something they don’t have.”

Finished my Fullmetal Alchemist busts of Mustang and Hughes. All hand sculpted with paper clay and hand painted. I loved making the little details on their uniforms! Even though I have some experience creating miniatures, this was the first time I sculpted people-shaped things.

Little thing about the connection between Hughes and Mustang. Lots of symbolism, I’m still addicted to the whole horror aesthetic.
I may or may not have bought the Shiraito sparkling wine set (no alcohol though!!!!) with Mustang and Hughes on it because I saw it on here and thought “well I live in Japan, so why not”.

I know it might be kinda fucked up but does anyone else feel like Maes might have been glad that Envy transformed into his wife to kill him? Like, hear me out… he loved his wife with his entire heart so don’t you think he might have been grateful to see her one last time? Just a thought.

I am so sorry. Chihiro doesn’t deserve this, I know. But neither did Nina.
I would like to do some alternate ones next since I feel like there were some characters that could have worked just as well in diffrent places. For example, I paired Peko with Lanfan, but she could have worked as Hawkeye as well. Let me know if you have any suggestions or any characters you would specifically like to see me pair.
