I feel so bad about all the time that’s gone by since I posted here. 2019 was a difficult year for me and unfortunately I just wasn’t able to dedicate time to be here and do the sort of good work I’d want to on the uploads. I’ve been having a very hard time finding a job and time got away from me way too fast here until I thought about you all today and realized I need to do my best to get back in it again. That and I’ve got a upcoming plan I’d like to present here!
I’ve been thinking a lot about starting up a YouTube channel with short videos about multiple subjects. I really love scary real life stories, history, architecture and just interesting people and places and was considering doing short “documentaries” on some Victorian-era homes, people like Evelyn Nesbit, etc. I don’t know of any audience to share this with except here though.
It’s going to take me a while to gather information and resources to do these videos but I really hope I can be successful. I plan on doing a very good job with accuracy and appealing presentation. Would you be interested in me sharing links here and there on this blog when I get it off the ground?

I’ve always looked up to dads and father figures in anime. So I take this opportunity to tall about my favorite and most hated dads and father figures in anime.
Kaguya-sama Love is War Season 2 inspire me to make a Chika Fujiwara anime vs manga comparison. Even if you have not watched Kaguya Sama Love is War, you have definitely seen The Chika Dance. Chika song from Anime Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen influenced and boosted Fujiwara Chika’s popularity and made her more cute and appealing. However, she is not the same cute kawaii anime girl she is in the anime. In the Kaguya-sama manga she is… well how about you watch the video till the end to find that out?

I share my experience of watching Weathering With You (Tenki no ko) in theater and talk about how it is different from You Name (Kimi on na wa) and yet similar. The evolution of Makoto Shinkai’s style and the sound of RADWIMPS made the film a wonderful experience.
This Is Peak Shounen Korean Manga (Manhwa) | SOLO LEVELING
A lot of people mentioned Solo Leveling to me. So I decided to give it a read and see what the hype was about. I read it completely. Overall I enjoyed it a lot!
The reboot of the 2001 adaptation of Fruits Basket seems to be backed with a talented production and promotion team that loves the series. The author is on the production team to supervise the adaptation.
Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu Is an anime from spring 2019 which is about a middle school girl named Hitori Bocchi who has trouble talking with people and making friends. She is basically the most anime irl character ever.
The episode 7 of Mob Psycho 100 season 2 resonated with me on a personal level. I saw a part of my present self in Reigen Arataka and my past self in young Mob (Kageyama Shigeo). This episode was a perfect 10/10 for me. It made me cry tears of sadness as well as tears of joy and happiness.
Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai is my favorites from this season. Azusagawa Sakuta is really fun to watch and Sakurajima Mai is cute.
I’m not enjoying my vacations. Summer doesn’t suit me and I’m holed up inside my room, close to my AC. Well, the end result was that I’ve watched over 50 movies in two weeks and I was looking for something new, something different. So, yesterday my friend said “Oye, Kimmypoo (ignore the nickname) check out The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy, would you? On YouTube, you’d like it”
To be honest I’m not a fan of Peter Pan adaptations but this show is amazing! Shawn deLoache has written a masterpiece. I spent the whole night watching the series and woke up at 3pm, I was sleep drunk all day lol
It’s a romantic comedy about a Peter Pan (Kyle Walters) and his friends who live in modern world Ohio, Neverland, USA. Peter, who is in his late-twenties doesn’t want to grow up. He wants to live his life having fun with his friends Wendy, John, Michael, Lily and his fairy, Tinkerbell, He is comic artist who doesn’t want to waste time working. His ultimate goal is to win Wendy’s heart, which is not as easy as he thinks.
Wendy Darling (Paula Rhodes) is a grown up. She is an advice vlogger who wants to be a writer. She is tired of her small town and everyday life, Wendy wants something new. She wants to go to big city and make a career. Her brother Michael Darling (Brennan Murray) is childish but very sweet. John Darling (Graham Kurtz) is a very organized person. He had a tendency to clean obsessively when he is drunk. Lilly Bagha (Lovlee Carroll) is a rich hot entrepreneur which only makes her hotter. She always gets what she wants. Even though she seems bitchy, she is sweet in her own way.
And what can I say about Tinkerbell? We all know how she is, first she makes mistakes and then with her tinkering skills she fixes it.
The casting is done by Jenni Powell who produced The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
The characters are well developed and well-acted. I love the way how this series shows the importance of both growing up and having fun. It’s a big pie made of jokes, drama, love, jealousy and a crafty villain. I appreciate the villain, he is very handsome ;)
I will not talk about the second season, I will not! It’s great, it’s amazing and there’s one mystery I would love to solve.
My favorite character? John Darling. You gotta love those sexy cheekbones!
