“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed” -  Mahatma Gandhi

Such a true saying, we humans can never be satisfied by what we have or by getting what we need. This is one of the biggest reasons we have war, pain, suffering and the world going into great turmoil…

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.”-Mahatma Gandhi

Humanity was created with a hole in it’s heart, a hole that no possession, power, or knowledge could fill and due to this we fight each other. Kill each other. Destroy each other and anything else to try and fill that hole only to find that’s it’s to no avail.. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer simply due to the fact that in today’s day and age it is a rarity to see acts of kindness and compassion without wanting something in return.

Even animals, who are considered to be the “lower” species will help one another but we “humans who are the highest species will simply turn the other cheek because how does helping someone who is in need in anyway beneficial right?

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, leader of the nationalists of India who has just been incarcerated by the English, accused of sedition, in the city of Ahmedabad. With upheaval currently rocking the vast British empire, Gandhi represents tremendous strength, not only in his plans to shake foreign oppression on the Hindustani peninsula, but also for the prestige that his theories and teachings have over his countrymen of all religions, even among the Muslims, who have great spiritual might in South Asia.

International Day of Non-Violence

We’re in the 2018th year of human existence. A thousand and eighteen years before we stepped on to this beautiful morning of October 2 which is also prestigious and perennial in its own way. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, an ordinary man with extraordinary courage was born today in the year 1869. And by the time he died, his name was inscribed as Mahatma Gandhi. But the journey from Mohandas Karamchand to Mahatma is all that his life’s about. This heart-melting story cannot be summarised in a caption or any lone book. But there’s a better way to express our love and gratitude for him today. It is to stop non-violence. One thing he tried to abolish all his life. And also by far the greatest gift you can give to this world and to your family. Seed kindness and peace in the minds you meet and so they will, in the minds they meet.Love,Reading In Between.
