Yesterday I made myself a little Christmas present. This plant was on my wishlist for a long time and I’m very happy to have it now.

First visit to my monstera as a married couple #monsteramonday

FAQ: plant is lit by a west facing door (seen in photo) that gets a few hours of direct sun and a large north facing window (off screen to the right). At this light level, I can safely pour in about a liter and a half of water each week when I see this plant at church. Monsteras grow as vines so what you are seeing here is 7 vines tied together against a sturdy metal trellis (they’re not rooted against the trellis). #monsteramonday - I haven’t seen my monstera since July 1 (when this photo was taken). I’m sure it’s doing well under the care of those I’ve trained but it will be nice to visit and see its progress next week
