New Video Alert - Olawumi

Here’s a video to ‘queen shit’ from Olawumi’s forthcoming EP ‘Crowns’. This minimalist video gives me so much 90′s Erykah Badu if she ever decided to go ‘soul trap’. 

She’s one of the first I’ve heard falling under the genre soul-trap and I hope more artist get on this train because it could be something amazing.

The glitchy visuals and the green turbante-se ooze so much coolness.

Here’s a new very talented artist. His sound reminds me a lot of Ben Howard but his voice more soulful. Love the visuals of this video. 

The video to my favourite song at the moment. Such a big year for alternative music with artist such as The Beach, james bay, years & years and so many more.

Chappaqua Wrestling - Full Round Table

Wonderful new song Full Round TablebyChappaqua Wrestling. The band was formed in Manchester in late 2017 by songwriters Charlie Woods&Jake Mac. Since moving back south, they have been joined by John-Paul Townsend&Coco Varda. They are now based in south London, their debut album is due for release early 2023, looking forward to gettting a copy!!

Superorganism - On & On

The wonderful Superorganism return with a video for On & On, which is the first taste of music shared from their forthcoming second album, World Wide Pop which will see the light of day on the July 15th. Superorganism are an  indie pop collective, pulled from all corners of the globe, they are now based in the UK and gone from an eight piece to a five piece band.
