Welcome to the club!] It’s essentially an epilogue episode for CQL that ties up all the loose ends and gives WangXian a canon-compliant, satisfying ending. Summary:This work picks up immediately where The Untamed leaves off. After a year away, Wei Ying returns to Gusu to catch up with an old friend before continuing on with his adventures. This trip, however, does not go as planned…
Keeping in the style of the show, and the style of romance presented in other C-dramas, this work is my answer to the question: If censorship was no longer an issue, what would an in-universe, realistic Wangxian finale look like? The following is my attempt at writing what would be a hypothetical Epilogue episode (Episode 51), adapted into novel-form. If you have ever wanted closure for these beloved characters, then this should satisfy!

The Muse has been very fickle for me lately, but this week she dropped a line into my brain at 2:00am and I was smart enough to type it out and send it to @pools-of-venetianblue so that I wouldn’t forget in the morning.
I finished writing the first chapter today and then recorded it for you. You can read it or listen to it at the link above.
