Falling Into You

by sunshine_sparrow (also on twitter)

art by @angie-s-g (rebloggable original art post here, y’all)

M, 9k, sangcheng

Summary:“Come onnn, Cheng-Cheng,” Wei Wuxian whined. “It’s just swimming! Don’t you miss the water?”

Jiang Cheng hesitated. It was always the hardest part of coming to summer camp—the lack of a pool for him to spend all of his free time in. Gusu had gorgeous lakes and rivers, but no dedicated pool, and two months with only some occasional, extremely monitored recreational swimming was torture.

“Well…” And then he gave in, as Wei Wuxian had known he would. “All right. But only for a little bit! And we definitely have to be back in bed for bed check!”

Wei Wuxian whooped, letting go of Jiang Cheng’s shoulders to dance ahead of them, spinning in a circle with his arms raised. “Yes! It’s gonna be so much fun!”

-

Every summer, Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian attend the Gusu Academy summer camp for young cultivators. This summer, though, will be their first year in the senior camp. It’ll definitely be just the same as every other year, for Jiang Cheng; no awkward feelings or unexpected revelations will be discovered. Definitely not. I mean, it’s summer camp; soft confessions and sweet kisses never happen at summer camps, right?

❤️you mean to make a puppet of me

T, 31k, wangxian, background sangcheng

Summary:  Lan Wangji tried to look around, but found that he was immobilized. Not panicking, because he was a powerful cultivator who did not need to panic, Lan Wangji attempted to break the immobilization with his golden core.

Only to realize that his core, while intact, was blocked.

He attempted to move his fingers.

Nothing.

No matter what part of himself Lan Wangji attempted to move or wiggle, he received no response from his body.

Still not panicking, really not at all, Lan Wangji tried to parse what he could see in front of him, without moving his eyes.

There was a shelf that appeared to be almost half the size of Koi Tower in front of him, but before he began not panicking about that, he realized that no. The shelf was not a gigantic piece of furniture. It was Lan Wangji who was abnormally sized.

He had, in fact, gone from standing over two bu high, to measuring perhaps a single chi in length.

He was tiny .

Lan Wangji began to panic.
**
In which Lan Wangji is cursed to be marionette puppet and transported to a different universe, where he is picked up by an alluring and kind puppeteer with a mysterious past…

My comments: This was a gift for me ❤️!@therealfailwhale was my author for MDZS RBB @mdzsrbb this year, and look what they produced!!!

This one is a hoot from the very first sentence. It is fluffy and fun, and features a thirsty Lan Wangji who is so. FRUSTRATED. that his teeny size is preventing him from acting on his thoughts. Heh heh heh.

Lan Wangji is just happy he’s no longer wooden, okay; Wei Wuxian is entirely smitten; Jiang Cheng is shouty and confused; Nie Huaisang has secrets; and I am just along for the ride. Two world collide, herein, and the mashup is greater than the sum of its parts. (And. AND! This charming story was written for my art, for the MDZS RBB, and I’m so honored and delighted and happy about that. I want to share it with everyone.)

Excerpt:  Wei Wuxian pulled Lan Wangji away from his chest and held him up to look into his tiny face.

“You hear that, you beautiful man? You’re coming home with me!” Wei Wuxian grinned widely, and glanced up at Jiang Cheng. “Didi! Meet my husband!”

“You can’t marry a puppet!” shouted Jiang Cheng, as Lan Wangji felt a desire to hide his face.

Summary:“A-Ying,” Lan Wangji says quietly, trying to gauge whether the boy is asleep. Even as the boy’s figure tenses and his head peaks out from the rest of his body to look around, he doesn’t stop shaking. His clothes are wet, Lan Wangji can see in the candlelight, clinging to his skin. Winter has not yet passed. The boy must be freezing.

“Hello?” A-Ying asks hesitantly, looking around. His eyes are big, but despite some suspicion in their depths, the boy mostly looks curious.

“Hello, A-Ying,” Lan Wangji says kindly. “I heard that you prayed to me.”

Summary: Wei Wuxian’s question echoed in his thoughts again.
Do you think he’s at all happy?
Nie Huaisang had wanted to be happy once. It was all he had wanted, really. A life with a loving partner filled with wine and art and music. He hadn’t wanted to lead the sect, hadn’t wanted to throw his life away to a cause—and yet here he was. He really was like da-ge in some ways. Ruthless to a fault.
But he was not dead.
Nie Huaisang set his fan down and picked up the letter from Jiang Wanyin, folding it back into its original shape and tapping it thoughtfully against his mouth.
He wondered if it was too late for happiness. Whether Jiang Wanyin might like to help him find it—help himself find it with Nie Huaisang. He hadn’t been mistaken in the desire he’d seen in Jiang Wanyin’s eyes.
He desperately wanted to see how far it could take them.

Light Source

byabCEE (M, 31k, wangxian)

Summary:  For a moment, he felt it, resentment coiling in his gut.

He feels so done.
At eighteen, Wei Wuxian realized, he’s done.

“What does Yu-furen want me to do?”
“I want you gone from our lives! Away! Somewhere I cannot see you!”

“From this day forth, I, Wei Wuxian is renouncing my title as the Head Disciple of Yunmeng-Jiang.”

In which after they were saved from the Xuanwu Cave, Wei Wuxian was punished by Yu Ziyuan and he has decided that he had enough. Wei Wuxian defected from Yunmeng-Jiang Sect. He left and he did not look back.

AND

“Ah, the rabbits.”
“You saw them? I wanted to bring some but I figured that Lan Zhan could use some friends.”

“You said the rabbits have ribbons?”
“Yes they do, but they didn’t have it when I returned. I think it vanished with Ancestor Lan Yi’s spirit.”
Lan Xichen’s brows furrowed. Why does he feel like he missed something?

And in which Lan Xichen realized that something more happened in the Cold Pond Cave.

Or a story where Wei Wuxian defected from Yunmeng-Jiang Sect before the attack and what happened to him and everyone else after that.

bymoonsteps (M, 25k, wangxian)

Summary:  And, standing a healthy twenty feet away from Wei Ying, is The Guy.

The Guy as in: six-foot-something, striking golden eyes, long pretty fingers curling around the spine of a textbook. He has the face of a movie star, a model, whatever, and he’s definitely not someone you’d expect to see at eight o’clock on a Monday morning without so much as a cup of the trashy coffee they sell in the dining hall nursed against his chest. It’s a very nice chest.

Wei Ying would know, because this is the same guy he puked on in the backseat of a dingy cab two weeks ago.

by typefortydeductions (E, 33k, wangxian)

Summary: “Oh.” Wei Ying stops trying to find his phone, gives his hand over entirely to Lan Zhan’s attention. “You wanna go by yourself? Will it be alright?”

“Mm.” Lan Zhan kisses his palm, his knuckles, the back of his hand. No, he wants to say, childishly. No, it won’t be alright, and you should come with me, navigate this worsening, this new set of things to unpack. You should kiss me as I call my brother, my uncle. You should sit in the strange silence of Mama and Shushu in a room together and let me hold your hand so tight that your knuckles grind.

He doesn’t say any of that. He lets go of Wei Ying’s hand. He calls Xichen, and leaves him a ten-second-long voicemail. He begins to pack.

When Lan Zhan’s mother falls ill, he moves back home, bringing with him his boyfriend, Wei Ying. As it turns out, it’s the best decision he could have made.

lightning in a bottle

by bigbabyjeno (E, 10k, wangxian)

Summary: “You don’t see me,” the man hisses, creeping down the corridor with his back pressed to the wall, arms spread like he’s some sort of secret agent on a top secret spy mission.

Lan Zhan watches him for a moment, trying to decide if he’s worth any concern. The man is currently crab-walking behind a row of potted ficus, though, so Lan Zhan is reasonably sure he doesn’t need to alert security about this one.

[Or; Lan Zhan is photographing a wedding when he catches someone trying to sneak in. The man claims to be the bride’s brother and begs Lan Zhan to make him his assistant for the evening so he can watch his sister get married. Lan Zhan reluctantly agrees and gets a lot more than he bargained for.]

We Were Never Strangers

by NeverEnoughWangxian (M, 37k, wangxian)

Summary:
The dream shifts. They’re back home now, tangled up in bed, buried under a mountain of blankets and, at least in Wei Ying’s case, sore in all the ways he doesn’t mind being sore in. His husband is radiating warmth, and Wei Ying burrows into his arms happily. He presses his still-freezing toes to his husband’s calves and muffles a snort of laughter against Lan Zhan’s chest when he feels the muscles tense momentarily from the shock. Lan Zhan nips at his ear in retaliation but continues to run his fingers soothingly through Wei Ying’s hair. He melts into the touch. The only thing keeping him from turning into a puddle is the strong familiar arms around him, holding him together, holding him close.
When Wei Ying wakes up, he’s full-body shivering. His hand slides across the bed, reaching instinctively for the warmth of someone who was never there to begin with.

Wei Ying is an art major by day, cultivator by night. After a seemingly routine night-hunt, he starts getting these strange, vivid dreams of a man in white he’s never met before yet somehow feels like he’s known his whole life…

Summary: So there was this jar, and it had so much peanut butter still in it, and when his fox nose scented it and didn’t catch any poison or spoilage, what was he supposed to do? Not avail himself of this gift? No. He shoved his delicate little snout right in there and got to licking, but, you know… Elegantly. Definitely not snarfing and making horrible little fox sounds and rolling around on the ground while he went ham on the jar. Sure, he had to work a little bit to get at the last of it, but anything good is worth working for, right? So finally, triumphant, no longer starving, and maybe a little thirsty now from eating half a cup of peanut butter in about two minutes, he’d tried to remove his head from the jar.

Operative word tried.

Or: Wei Ying gets stuck. Lan Zhan helps.

❤️Tragedy is Not the End

by Hobbsy3

T, 358k, wangxian

Summary:When Sizhui, Jingyi, and Zizhen are captured with Jin Ling at the Guanyin Temple, they’re sure that Hanguang Jun and Wei Wuxian will fix everything - until Su She stabs Lan Wangji through the stomach, and everything falls apart around them. In a last, frantic attempt to undo the damage Jin Guangyao has done, Wei Wuxian activates a deadly array to send the four juniors back in time, sending them to the morning of Jin Ling’s one-month celebration. With the fate of everyone and everything they love in their hands, Sizhui, Jin Ling, Zizhen and Jingyi race to prevent the ambush at Qiongqi Pass and the subsequent fallout, but Jin Guangyao has returned from the future as well, and he has no intention of letting what he wants fall through his hands a second time.

My comments: Okay, wow, this was so epic, it’s hard to break down. The gist of it is that the four juniors get sent back in time from a moment of utter tragedy and overwhelming loss to fix the future. So they’re all pretty fucking traumatized from the get-go. (Future Jin Guangyao is a complete and terrifying psychopath.)

If I had to pick 3 tags to describe the story it’d be WHUMP, H/C and BONDING. So, author doesn’t hold back on the violence, which I fully endorse and devour. (I might have rated this one an M, actually, just for graphic violence and stressful situations.) Everyone gets a turn to be utterly beat up if not straight up tortured. POV is multiple, and that includes everyone (I never expected to admire and empathize with Jin Zixuan so much!). BUT, before you run away screaming, know that there is soooo much comfort and healing and bonding going on, throughout whatever the current trauma is (there are many) as well as after. I did a quick search, and there are 102 uses of “I love you”, and it’s not limited to wangxian. wwx says it to jiang cheng and a-yuan and all the poor time-travelling teens who have just lost everything and everyone in their entire worlds and suddenly are only a few years younger than their ‘fathers’. The juniors say it to each other and their dads. jyl says it to everyone. the lan bros say it, the nie brothers say it. Everybody is just so fucking supportive and trying so hard and they just have faced what a world could be like if they DON’T communicate, and so by god, they’re not gonna go that route, and also, no one’s gonna let them forget it.

I really, really loved how all the time travelers latched onto their 'parents’ and the relationships that they grew: with them, with their families and with their itty bitty counterparts. It highlighted the Juniors’ innocence (and trauma) to be compared to people only a few years older and yet so much more mature and experienced because of having been through the war.

So. An epic, plotty, TASTY time travel fix it that features everyone and the way they all fit into each other’s lives, getting into situations that are truly terrifying that have NO EXIT, being hurt and watching it happen to people you love, and lots of escapes-by-the-skin-of-their-teeth-and-please-god-are-they-still-breathing. It’s an excellent and satisfying balance.

time travel, fix it, angst, whump, captivity, hostage situations, threat of torture, hurt everybody, temporary character death, hurt/comfort, emotional hurt/comfort, tearjerker, feels, you will cry, self-sacrifice, POV multiple, adorable juniors, traumatized juniors, adorable a-yuan, qiongqi path ambush canon divergence, family feels, future reveal, jin zixuan lives, jiang yanli lives, wen remnants live, golden core reveal, found family, jiang sibling feels, pining, idiots in love, love confessions, first kiss, cuddling & snuggling, platonic cuddling, qi deviation, golden core surgery, baby golden core, wei wuxian is a good dad, lan wangji is a good dad, communication, nightmares, PTSD, panic attacks, wedding, adoption, cynophobia, wei wuxian’s fear of dogs, puppy therapy, healing, recovery, fix it, epic, parent-child relationship, father-son relationship, happy ending, favorite

Hey!  Hope you’re doing well.  May I recommend aetherya and their fics.  Especially “the light at the end” I just finished reading it a few minutes ago, and well, it made me cry. In the morning.

10/10 recommended.  Here’s an excerpt that hurts me:

Much, much later, when they are both sated, they lounge in bed and listen to the news. Their hands are laced tightly together, knuckles white in dread as they hold on.

Wei Wuxian blinks wetly at the screen, his vision blurring, briefly overcome as he considers what they were and what they are and what they will never get the chance to be. He wonders if this is how they were destined to be from the very start—nothing more, nothing less—in a race against time and inevitability.

There will be destruction at the end of this, he knows that now. That is, after all, how all things are meant to end. It is only a matter of time, and Wei Wuxian will never have enough time because he never wants to let go of this.

the light at the end

by aetherya (M, 8k, wangxian)

Summary:  He drives, and the receding lights of the metropolis freckle across his face, his hands, his clothes. At least ten more photos in Wei Wuxian’s camera are dedicated to capturing the way the light illuminates his skin, the way it flickers and flashes across his features as they pass through tunnels and under bridges.

Wei Wuxian wants to know him in all kinds of light; he wants to know him in the dark, by nothing but the way he breathes and the steady beat of his heart.

in short— wangxian go on a roadtrip, and they learn some things along the way.

❤️flame and rust

by cl410

M, 35k, wangxian

Summary:  What was so special about Wei Ying that Jiang Cheng’s parents expected him to become a guardian of Lotus Pier?

Or: Baoshan Sanren’s lineage has a special talent, one that Wei Wuxian inherits. No one is quite sure what to do with a dragon, least of all Lan Wangji.

My comments:  Ah, this story just grabbed me by my heart and didn’t let go. Wwx is kept by the jaings SOLELY for the use he can be to them as a defense-dragon, and he’s never allowed to forget it, which is horribly abusive. Jyl and jc adore him, though, and don’t like how he’s treated.

He gets a taste of a different life during the cloud recesses stint, when people just like him… including lqr, who figures him out right away and becomes a mentor. And lan zhan… lan zhan makes him warm and fuzzy and dumb, and lights a nascent little bond within him.

But then shit utterly hits the fan as canon progresses, and some terrible things happen, and choices are made by various people that have horrific and unintended consequences, and wwx ends up coreless in the burial mounds, struggling to survive.

There’s a lot of focus on the close bond between wwx and his siblings in spite of how the jiang parents treat him. Throughout the story, he struggles to understand that he can be accepted for other reasons than his ability to fight and die, and there can be family for him - and a home - just because he is wei wuxian, and for no other reason.

I am warning you now: you will HAVE FEELINGS.

Excerpt:  “We’re going to be late!” Jiang Cheng said impatiently. He put his hands on his hips and glowered threateningly up at the lanky dragon halfway up the tree. “Do you want to keep jiejie waiting? Maybe I’ll tell her you didn’t want to come!”

Wei Wuxian made a protesting noise, tipping sideways in his haste to slink to the ground. He caught himself in time, somehow, and briefly dangled upside down from the branch, frozen cautiously in place and not quite sure how he’d managed it.

There was an ominous crack. He peered at the branch, realizing too late what was about to happen, and then squawked when it broke and sent him hurtling to the ground.

He landed with a boom that shook the earth, the broken branch held safely between his front paws as he blinked dazedly at the sky. Jiang Cheng loomed over him with a deeply judgmental expression.

“That was embarrassing to watch,” he said.

Before the Morning Sun

byVamillepudding

G, 13k, wangxian, jiang cheng & lan wangji

Summary:Jiang Cheng wakes up to a perfectly fine, perfectly normal day… and a six year old brother-in-law. It falls to him to take care of Lan Wangji, who has only just lost his mother, is wary of being touched, and doesn’t ask as many questions as he should. Can Jiang Cheng put history aside or will old bitter memories get the better of him?

My comments: Ah, this was so sweet.

Excerpt:A-Zhan carefully inspects the dozens of stuffed pandas, dragons, and monkeys, and eventually reaches for – a plush watermelon. It has, horrifyingly, arms and legs, as well as one single glass bead as an eye. The other eye is missing, probably fell down out of shame over being part of such a crappy toy.

“That one,” A-Zhan says.

Although he has learned a lot today, Jin Ling proves that he still has a long way to go by saying, “Really? Are you sure? But they have way better ones!”

Jiang Cheng wholeheartedly agrees, but he also knows this is not going to work. Predictably, A-Zhan shakes his head, clutches the creepy watermelon thing to his chest, and repeats, “That one.”

“Fine,” Jin Ling says, paying for it like he promised while A-Zhan cuddles the toy triumphantly. One of its arms falls off; undeterred, A-Zhan picks it up, brushes off the dirt, and clumsily reattaches it. Watching him like this, Jiang Cheng is suddenly struck by a revelation. For the first time, he thinks he knows just how Lan Wangji could fall in love with someone as terrible as Wei Wuxian.

Some Sort of Risk

by Silvarbelle

M, 37k, wangxian

Summary:Someone tried to set up Jiang Wanyin. Wei Wuxian took the fall - and key players took the chance to send him to prison to get too-smart-for-his-own-good Wei Ying out of the way. Thirteen years into his sentence, he’s released from prison and disappears. Three years after that: Lan Wangji finds him by chance. Unfortunately, he’s brought a fresh round of trouble with him. The two of them have to fix their friendship, fix a sabotaged airplane, and then fix everything else as it happens.

My comments: Starts with a bang, wwx running away and lwj tackling him into an undignified fight that goes all over the yard. There is A Past - a reason why wwx has been away for so long and is no longer a part of the aerial firefighting community, but rather a struggling mechanic and paroled felon.

While wangxian figure themselves out, sabotage and a continuation of a 20-year-old plot come to light. The climax moves fast and involves lqr being a dick, another plot, wwx being stupidly sacrificial, a wildfire and an aerial attack. Exciting stuff!

byElDiablito_SF (E, 31k, wangxian)

Summary:Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are disgustingly in love and happily cohabitating six months after the events of “Pearls for a Funeral”. But a vindictive power will not let them rest. Trouble is brewing at work for Detective Jiang Cheng, and just in time to create all kinds of problems for his sister’s wedding (not to mention the invitation list!). A mysterious letter starts off a non-stop, wild, noir ride which takes our heroes from the foggy climes of San Francisco to the verdant hills of Napa Valley. Can Wangxian once again prevail over the powers of darkness and save their love as well as each other? I don’t know, I don’t know, I really don’t know.

Part2ofNoir AU (2 works, series in progress)

My comment: Ah, a very satisfying sequel to Pearls For a Funeral (here’s mypost). In which the bad guys from the first story just won’t stop making trouble, prison and looming execution notwithstanding. POV alternates, and it’s a ride through a visceral 1940s landscape with loads of angst and kidnapping and perilous situations (both physical and emotional). Fun time!

Excerpt:One would have thought once you’ve lived through one abduction, the second one would be a walk in the park, and yet, Lan Wangji was discovering, one would have been entirely incorrect. What was even more beneath his dignity was being held hostage by the man who used to wash his car. Oh no, if Uncle found out, he would be absolutely livid. This assassin, this Xue Yang personage, who had dared beat Wei Ying into a bloody pulp and trespass against his clavicles (a sin for which Lan Wangji had already damned the man to the ninth circle of hell), was barely worthy of so much as being in Lan Wangji’s presence. Unfortunately, he was hovering extremely uncomfortably close to his presence, and leering in such a way that made Lan Wangji pull at his restraints despite his valiant attempts at keeping his considerable cool.

noir au, case fic, 1940s san francisco, established relationship, mystery, intrigue, private detective wei wuxian, rich socialite lan wangji, background nielan, shameless lan wangji, gumshoe wei wuxian, kidnapping, light torture, BAMF lan wangji, hurt wei wuxian, hurt lan wangji, misunderstandings, angst, POV alternating, lack of communication, feels, hostage situations, grief/mourning, happy ending, @jadedbirch

G, 43k, wangxian, Part 1ofHope

Summary:A night hunt gone wrong leaves Wei Wuxian facing life without a husband and son. He refuses. Using an experimental array, he attempts temporal transmigration, but it goes wrong. He sends himself back to the age of ten, and the strain on his young body and mind requires another desperate use of resentful energy… which also goes wrong. A different sort of time travel fic.

My comments: Oh, wow, I loved this so much! I’m really looking forward to more in the series, because I could happily drown myself in 50k more words of it.

Wwx sends himself back in time, but this story is different, in that once he enters his 10-year-old self (which is pretty traumatic) he ends up with amnesia, so really IS just a child. The chain of events this sets off is fabulous. While he’s in a coma and things are touch-and-go, Madam Yu has an opportunity to examine her poor treatment of this boy in the past and set about making some changes. Because he’s crying out for “Lan Zhan”, the Lans are invited to try to clear away the resentful energy (they think it was cast at him as a curse in an attack), and Lan Qiren brings both his nephews.

The story covers about a season, and POV jumps around, which is wonderful, because everyone is GROWING. They are changing, their worlds are different, and they’re being exposed to different people and different ideas. Madam Yu and Lan Qiren go through perhaps the biggest development arcs, but seriously, EVERYONE is affected. (And none of this is done with a heavy hand, either: the focus is on the story, and the growth is all organic.)

Little Lan Wangji opens up like he never has before, Jiang Yanli starts to learn to be a healer and LQR teachers her musical cultivation… the ripple effect of change is simply fascinating. The Lans become less rigid, and the Jiangs more loving. And young wwx is the nexus and the catalyst. Especially when he ‘remembers’ a few things that make them believe he’s become precognitive.

time travel, fix it, child wei wuxian, madam yu is good, POV multiple, child lan wangji, hurt wei wuxian, sick wei wuxian, angst, amnesia, jiang family feels, caretaking, illness recovery, character growth, (all of them - they are growing and becoming better people), social change, adoption, lan qiren is good, sharing a bed, nightmares, emotional hurt/comfort, hurt/comfort, doting lan wangji, street orphans, gege jiang cheng, didi wei wuxian, jiang wuxian, betrothal, arranged marriage, grief, sect politics, protective madam yu, protective lan wangji, protective everyone, favorite, @rosethornewrites

If anyone wants any fics that expand on the Mo Family, this one goes into the politics amongst Lanling gentry, both cultivator and mediocre, and talks about the origins/founding of Mo Village and multiple generations of the Mo Family, giving them names and backstories. And there’s a subplot that explores Mo Xuanyu’s relationship with his family (both Mo, Jin, etc) starting from before he is invited to Koi tower

A Mother’s Love

by FirefliesNLightningBugs (M, 137k, wangxian, jiang sibs, WIP)

Summary:  Cultivators say that Wei Ying is a monster, and he’s beginning to agree. But that’s ok so long as his family is safe, that will always be the most important thing. Unplanned pregnancy, intrigue, mob mentality, mysterious past/abilities. Siblings live, Jiang Cheng is a good brother, Jin Zixuan is alright to. Diverging AU, combo Mo Dao Zu Shi (novel) & The Untamed (spinoff TV show). Canon typical violence. LZ/WWX.

I have a great fic series recommendation that tickles the DadHan and Wen!WWX trope! The series is really great. I’ve always wondered how the Main Wens, specifically WRH, would’ve reacted to WWX protecting the last of the Wens and then I found this fic haha.

Warm Ghost

byNika_Raven_Celeste (T, 9k, wei wuxian & all the wens, 2 works, series in progress)

Summary:  Wen Lin is not like what the rumor said about the wen.

He is kind. Compassionate. Melancholic.

Wei Ying likes him. He likes having a friend outside the Jiang Disciple. He likes having a friend where he can be himself and not shamed for it.

Even if Wen Lin’s other identity is… surprising.

You really can make friends anywhere and everywhere, huh?
