And it may sound like it isnt your style but it feels nice, atleast give it a try, find what you find most best, and make it your little chill place, you dont gotta label any identidy down there, a completely anonymous nice place
But the other one, thats proship? Treat it more as a venting blog, being openly proship is like being openly gay to your homophobic parents, its a pain in the ass, all you’ll get is people yelling at you, with some people being happy youre bravely openly you
And dont take it too seriously, who knows, maybe put asks off, just vent, just do what you gotta do, rant, if someone doesnt like it, block em, doesnt matter if theyre proship themself or not, its your blog

I wonder if antis realize that proship was the norm for most people until the last few years. Don’t get me wrong, there have always been ship wars, and there most likely always will be. But the idea that enjoying or consuming fictional taboo media must automatically mean you condone such things in real life seems to be a fairly recent development. I can’t help but wonder what’s changed.
Perhaps it’s how much more accessible and easy to use technology is now, and how wi-fi and internet access are available just about everywhere nowadays. Maybe it’s in part because parents aren’t paying attention, aren’t teaching their children proper online safety anymore; they just stick a phone or tablet in the kid’s hands and leave it at that. Maybe it’s the lure of anonymity that comes with online interactions. Anyone can say they’re someone else, or no one at all. How many anonymous burner accounts are made by antis with the express purpose of using them to spew abuse? The kind of vileness that they would never say on an account they’re personally connected to because deep down, they know it’s wrong.

It makes me wonder what’s going on in these kids lives to make them think that their behavior is “normal”. Sending gore and death threats to people is not normal. Telling people to kill themselves is not normal. Wishing for someone to be harmed or assaulted is not normal. Making burner account after burner account in order to harass someone is not normal. Telling abuse survivors that they deserved what happened to them, and that you hope it happens again is Not. Fucking. Normal. Under any circumstances.

Also on a side note; y'all really hate fictional ships so much y'all gotta threaten to spread around real csem? There’s so many more morally humane things you could’ve done than do this. Like for example; not even talking to mafu. Acting like mafu exists and moving on with your life, but you just willingly chose one of the worst possible things to do. You talk big on how you want to protect children from the “big scary mean proshippers” but you’re the ones putting them in harm’s way to begin with. The anti movement is therefore not about making kids safe (hell it never was). It’s about scaring and oppressing a group of people they find weird (like the rest of this fucked up society/world). Antis are all sick fucks if they think anyone deserves this because they like 2(or more) fictional characters together as a ship.
What we commonly like to say: “what we like in fiction does not affect our in real life morals.” And hell yeah it’s correct. Antis just showed that. They’re really over here spewing this purity culture BS about fiction while committing real life heinous acts to anyone who disagrees with them.
You know the funny part? if I was a fictional character I’d be 100% fine with people shipping me with a blood thirsty monster. You know why? I’d have no idea it’s happening to me. I’d have no conscious mind or emotions. I would quite literally be scribbles on a paper for you to manipulate to your liking. (And as a human it does make me feel bad to be used in such a way, but if I weren’t a human I wouldn’t have this emotion to begin with)
Now if I were human (which I am), I’d probably not want to be shipped with a blood thirsty monster that could eat me in my sleep. I’m sure a majority of people wouldn’t want that (those who do you’re 100% vaild btw. I’m not attacking you). The difference however is one version of me can actually feel something from being shipped with a blood thirsty monster (human me) and the other can’t have its own thoughts and feelings to begin with (fictional me). The other is a medium for everyone’s entertainment or a medium for coping. If a fictional character actually does have emotions about being shipped with another character, it was probably more due to a Human’s speculation of their character rather than the character themself.
So I feel like antis are coming from a sweet place but they completely disregard the fact that these fictional characters actually do not hold any feelings. Actually do not live by the laws of our universe and can be manipulated in anyway we see fit without them actually feeling any pain or sadness from it.
I honestly like to think antis and people who support purity culture are either people from the younger generation trying to get brownie points or older people doing the same thing.
You aren’t cool or edgy for sending death threats, suicide baiting people, and sending out people’s personal information then masquerading it as a form of activism. Go back to preschool and learn the golden rule (because I’m sure all of you learned that shit in preschool) “treat others how you want to be treated”. ok so is it just me or are anti’s really salty when it comes to ex-antis? like i don’t like it when a proshipper becomes an anti, but thats because i don’t like saying good bye to people that i liked and now they either hate me or wanna show how to change (when it ends up hurting people) but any time i somehow end up an some anti’s blog, theres always something about ex-anti’s being bad and not in a way they hate proshippers, but like adding your partner cheating or something like they treat them like a kid who turned out not believing in god and is trans when the anti is the evangelical christian

AO3 is run by a non-profit organisation. Nobody is making any money out of this, and when the donation drive goal is exceeded, excess money will go to running the site in the future and fighting potential legal battles for the right to create fanworks
