We will create technology for public safety, crowdsourced help, and equal access projects to empower women and girls for generations.
We see massive disparities in technology and public safety for women, even for calling 911. Domestic violence is the most experienced issue for 911.
Crowdsourced help and housing do not yet exist in the United States for domestic abuse victims.
Cyberabuse online harms female public figures, lives, safety, and careers. We propose the solutions to save lives.
SaveMeNow created by firefighters provides real-time data, geolocation, and victim-centering to emergency centers. (http://SaveMeNowApp.es)
Safe Haven Community provides crowdsourcing help with people donating rooms directly for domestic abuse victims. With millions of victims, isolation, and not enough infrastructure, crowdsourcing is the solution. (http://SafeHavenCommunity.org)
Code Your Dreams and The Girls Code provides coding classes for socioeconomically diverse disadvantaged girls.
Worldie is the collaborator applying as Social Media for Good. We will create anti-cyberabuse coding, helpful systems, and distribution. We will improve lives.

When the whumpee is the team leader and they try to seem tough in front of their teammates, but when their teammates rescue them from the whumper, they can’t hide that they’re in bad shape. Their teammates checking them over quickly, and the whumpee trying to claim that they can walk, but their teammates all ignoring them, and the strongest one picking them up carefully. The whumpee trying to hide that even being carried hurts, but not being able to stop themself from making pained noises whenever they get slightly jostled. Their teammate apologizing, and trying to be as gentle as possible, and the whumpee hiding their face in their teammate’s shirt as they start to cry, the combination of the pain and the relief of being rescued just too much.
When the whumpee’s team goes to rescue them, and they find them curled up in the corner of a cold cell, shivering. Their teammates immediately rushing to the whumpee, and one of their teammates pulling off their jacket to wrap around them. The whumpee leaning into their teammate’s touch, seeking out warmth, and the strongest teammate scooping them up and cradling them close. The whumpee clinging to them almost desperately, and their teammates rushing them out of there so they can get them somewhere warm and safe.
When the whumpee and the caretaker aren’t talking because of an argument, and the whumpee gets captured by the whumper. The whumpee getting rescued by the caretaker and the rest of their team a few days later, and thinking that the caretaker still won’t want to talk to them. The caretaker surprising them by hugging them the first opportunity they get, and the whumpee breaking down crying, realizing that the caretaker was far more worried about their wellbeing than the stupid fight they’d had. The caretaker proceeding to fuss over them for a few days as they start to recover, and then the two of them talking about their fight once the whumpee is feeling up to it.
When the whumpee is rescued from the whumper, and taken to a hospital to have their injuries treated. Them thinking that they’ll be alone when they wake up, but instead they wake up surrounded by their friends. The whumpee still being out of it enough to admit that they didn’t expect them to be there, and their friends immediately protesting that of course they were all there, they care about the whumpee. The whumpee breaking down crying, and their friends crowding around them and gently hugging them and petting their hair, doing their best not to hurt them as they try to comfort them.

To the people down the street that leave their dog out on a chain:
Hi, I’m the lady with the two Great Dane’s. You probably don’t know me since you never see me when I walk by day after day, but I know your dog. What is he? A Rottweiler/Lab mix, right? He’s a cutie. I can tell he’s a senior from the white on his muzzle and speckling throughout his coat, the way he pushes himself to stand up when I walk by, and his exhausted “jump-up-and-down” bark. Even though he barks every time I walk by, I’ve grown somewhat attached to this chained up mystery dog. What could be his name? He looks like a Rodney. We’ll call him Rodney from now on: Rodney The Chained. I walk my dogs often. Two to three times a week. Even when I used to walk them everyday, I never missed my couple anxiety filled minutes with Rodney barking at us with each step. At first, I would smile at him. “Oh he’s such cute senior. Look at him trying to act all tough,” I’d say to Meg. Then my smile would fade more and more with each passing week. My smile has now turned into a full-blown frown. I sympathize with this dog. It is 83 degrees today. Can you imagine how hot his fur and paw pads get lying in the heat all day? I was sweating as if I just came out of the gym just from walking in it for an hour. I can’t even imagine adding two layers of fur onto my body and then doing the same. I’m sorry, let me correct myself. I don’t WANT to imagine it. Poor, sweet Rodney. I noticed you had a sock on today. At first, I laughed thinking that you somehow caught it on yourself but as I continued to scan you and notice that it was firmly tied around your paw, it became more clear. You were wearing that sock because you had sunburned your paw pad. My frown has now turned to furrowed brows and an aching heart. I am pissed. Why is Rodney still out in the scorching hot sun? Why had they not learned their lesson from the sunburnt paw? Do they know that it is sunburned or do they think it’s some mystery injury? I don’t understand. The only somewhat acceptable analogy I can come up with is that your owners leave you outside when they aren’t home. This is STILL not acceptable to me. It is still cruel and inconsiderate but you seem well fed. Maybe not loved… but at least they care enough about you to feed you, right?
Later, as I pulled up in my car to take your photo… I noticed a new car in the driveway. Someone’s home! They took Rodney inside, right?!
No.
They got here before me, and I watched for five minutes before rolling off. Rodney was still laying on the hot pavement of the driveway, staring at the other side of the street.
So tell me owners, why did you decide to invest in taking care of Rodney for the rest of his senior life and then come to the conclusion that he is not worth air conditioning, carpeted/hardwood floors that do not have sun rays constantly heating it, or the company of people? Was he an impulse decision because rescuing has now become a fad? Was he another family member’s pet and you were his last resort before the pound? Or did your kids want a puppy, you were solely relying on them to take care of him, and they didn’t? Or has the honey moon phase ended, and you don’t acknowledge his wonderful, beautiful existence like you used to?
So which one is it, pieces of fucking shit?

This is something I think about a lot every time I see a “look I found these cute baby animals” post on the internet, like okay sure maybe they were living in a rusty abandoned oil drum balanced on the edge of a cliff but maybe cat-dad was working overtime that day so he finally afford to move them to a cleaner more modern oil drum in a better oil drum neighborhood
