The RE9 Predictions AU is taking up more brainspace. Docs and Spread sheets are being made, analyzing Webtoons as a medium to create.
Rosemary is getting a sturdy character within the space and is probably nothing like how her actual character will be like, but that’s why this is an AU.
So they meet each other in a BSAA lab ( did you guys notice that on Karl’s conspiracy board the phrase “BSAA COMES!!!” is written on a map?) and Karl is all remade, he meets Rose who he doesn’t really recognize but Rose has read his file every which way because he was one of the last beings who’ve seen her dad alive and knows that he’s bad news. But she’s hauling ass in the lab and he knows a good gamer when he sees it and he’s trying to join forces while Rose doesn’t wanna be slowed down by this aluminum hobo when she’s all Umbrella protocol and business.
If Heisenberg has an affinity with the mold like Rose, and his essence can be felt through his crystalised corpse, and the BSAA is corrupt and is using bio-weapons.
He will be brought back to life for new experimentation. Rose is kidnapped but because she’s the protagonist now, she/you escape and then she finds Heisenberg to escape.
They form a weird friendship based on mold, violence, parental issues, and being experimented on.
Now, Rose has to kill him because he’s a parallel of her and he’s already murdered and done atrocious things to humanity. (Plus if you kept him alive everyone is gonna complain that they are under-utilizing him in game).
Heisenberg gets a tiny redemption arc where he gets to choose his family and now he has to be bossed around by the spawn of someone he was gonna kill. And now she’s more powerful and was born in military training so his all-bullshit personality clashes with her no-bullshit personality.
And Rose has to kill her only friend that understood being treated like an experiment/ bio-weapon all their lives because she has to prove that she’s able to control her mold abilities and young characters have to be jaded early in games to progress them.
TLDR: you still have to kill Heisenberg for plot reasons but you’ll form a friendship for life.
I might write a short meta about Ethan’s death in 8 was actually a good thing
tl;dr Ethan’s death was good, y’all just can’t handle tragedy because you’re morons
There is an inherent tragic sadness to Ethan’s death. To the very end he didn’t know if Mia really was still alive. The last time he saw her was probably just another day before she was kidnapped. It was some time after their argument, maybe their argument was the last time they ever saw each other. Ethan fought incredibly hard to save Rose, he killed monsters that were 10x his size, got parts of his body cut off, had his heart ripped out, and was nearly killed so many times, but nevertheless he persisted and was able to hold Rose in his arms and comfort her one last time. He assumed he wasn’t long for this world when his hand started to crumble, but it didn’t matter to him, because Rose was safe. I think another reason he grabbed the detonator and stayed behind was so he wouldn’t have crumbled to pieces in front of his daughter. He was going to disappear into nothing anyway, might as well take out the thing he’d been fighting this entire time along with him. Ethan fought his way through hell twice, once in 7 and once in 8, and in the end, it finally caught up to him. It was the end of his story, as well as the beginning of Rose’s.
Okay but like…what if you could choose?Like what if you could choose whether to show mercy to the lords?
I was thinking something along the lines of Ethan knowing what he is. Mia tells him, instead of keeping it a secret. How she finds out, I haven’t thought of yet, but it was probably something dumb like Ethan dancing to Waka Waka at 3 in the morning and just having his head vanish into thin air.
Mia would’ve told him, after having some time to think, finally deciding that he needed to know, no more lies, no matter how much it hurt. Eventually, perhaps a few weeks later, she would tell him, giving him her theory as well. He’s actually dead, having died in the baker house, the mold reanimating his body.
Naturally he would freak the fuck out, probably once again dissolving into the mold in the process. It would take a while, but they would be there for each other every step of the way, helping Ethan understand himself better and come to accept himself, with Mia assuring him that, no, he’s not a monster, and no, she still loves him, if he’ll still have her.
The two routes! I have more ideas about the Mercy route cause the Genocide route is just RE8 but now Ethan is aware of the mold powers he has, so now everyone’s fucked, whereas the Mercy route is a lot sweeter. If anyone actually wants to hear about this I’m down hehe, I have so many things to talk about so if anybody would be willing to listen to me rant I would take it in one swoop.
