Today the Moon traverses the sign of Pisces, archetype of the mystic dreamer. Our emotions may need more space than usual to spread out and follow its their path. You may be more porous than usual so while inspiration may be more forthcoming (if you take the time to be receptive), you may also be susceptible to outside influences. Be judicious with how you spend your energy and don’t be surprised if you need more rest than usual; it takes a lot of energy to feel it all. 

During its time in Pisces, the moon squares Mercury and trines Mars. Just having moved into Gemini, this Mercury is a strong one. While a square from the moon may add in more confusion or subjectivity, it also serves as a portal. We will be able to articulate and communicate our deepest thoughts, insights and visions. Later on, the moon meets Mars in Cancer, its sign of fall. While not considered a dignified position for the planet of action and courage, it does force us to slow down and consider what we wish to protect. Mars in Cancer is ultimately a lesson in boundaries and defending the inner while still taking action in the outer world. Forming a harmonious aspect with the moon means we get help in providing a container for our Piscean dreams and visions. We both get to protect them and pin them down long enough to do something with them.
