So Can and I were walking through the Natural History Museum. When Can asked “Would you like to know the secrets of the world?” “Of course.” I said “The Bible says you can ask the Lord and he will tell you things you can’t possibly know…. I’ve prayed that verse many times” Can asked “What do you want to know?” “Lol I don’t even know what to ask because the Bible says I can’t possibly know.” I said
Now when I’ve prayed this verse in the past I’ve always thought that the Lord was gonna give me the cure to cancer or something like that. But this day the Holy Spirit reminded me of the verse in Matthew 16 where Peter confessed that Jesus is the Christ. Jesus then tells him that he knows this because the Father has revealed it to him.
Now what is the greatest mystery in the universe???? TO KNOW GOD!!! Suddenly I realize that God has answered this prayer so many times as he had continued to reveal more of himself to me …something that is too big and impossible for me to know….AND that he wishes to share more secrets about himself. Now can this verse apply to other things I’m sure but to know more of Jesus means to know more about everything.
