The mouse lemur is the smallest primate in the world, with a combined head, body, and tail length of less than 30cm (11.8"). It is native to Madagascar and is nocturnal. Mouse lemurs are considered cryptic species—with very little morphological differences between the various species, but with high genetic diversity.
Lemurs and mouse lemurs were announced by the IUCN as the most endangered of all vertebrates. There were 2 known mouse lemur species in 1992; by 2016, there were 24.
A moth cryptid named Cairo has appeared with a few friends!!!
Inspiration gift I did a while back ago for @skyesrandomdoodles of their oc, Cairo! I love Cairo as a cryptid soo I felt inspired to draw him and add a few mythical moth like friends too! I had a blast working on this!!! ✨
Honestly if I ever died I’m either gonna be found under mysterious circumstances in the woods of West Virginia after hunting for the Mothman or I’m never going to be found and become a local cryptid that hides in the shadows and is a mild yet charming inconvenience for the people who live there
Gendercipher: A gender related to ciphers, cryptology, and/or secret codes. It may or may not also be related to similar things, such as invisible ink, hidden passages, and secrecy.
For some, this gender is underneath obscurian. While this gender ranges from all cryptology, ciphers, etc., more emphasis was placed on traditional variants as opposed to digital variants, such as ceasar cipher, vigenere cipher, and handwritten secret codes.
