I think that if snape was mentioned to have saved arthur weasley from nagini’s poison then Ron being reluctant to believe he was helping voldemort and draco would have felt more natural, ron always supported harry when he thought badly about snape so the fact that he sudenly didnt felt a bit ooc to me in HPB, plus it would have put ron in an weird position where he disliked snape but was also really grateful of him so he didnt feel like it was right to think he was untrustworthy.
I havent read the books in a while tho maybe I am saying nonsense.
Snape has a soft spot for children who have to grow up in the same circumstances as he did. It doesn’t matter whether muggle or wizard.
After the first fall of Voldemort, and after he had to start teaching at the school, he used his salary to donate it to children in need from Cokeworth. After all, he hardly had any expenses of his own and he also had this raging guilt within him that needed soothing somehow.
But of course that was not enough. He knows first-hand what impact poverty can have on the future of children. So he anonymously set up a regional foundation in Cokeworth that provides children not only with clothing and food, but also with tutoring and protection.
It’s like a little heart project of his. and every summer when he is back in his home town, he can slowly observe how his little helps take root and how many children are already better off than before.
Idc if its ooc for him to feed starving children lol, I like this hc. Plus I think it would explain why spinner’s end still exist (those types of slums were basically gone in the uk by 90s or at least so I’ve read)

I like snape x sirius as it is (mostly cuz its very funny) and I would also enjoy a wlw version of it just fine but there is something about Fem!snape and Sirius, this reverse beauty and the best aesthetic, this pretty boy and the hag thing… that I just love
Changes I would make to Hp if I was in charge of the movies:
-Dumbledore has constant wardrobe changes, they keep becoming more flamboyant and elaborated, quirky old wizard
-Snape’s face is scarred on one side, in poa we learn that it was because of the prank in fifth year.
-mcgonagall’s animagus form is a lion instead of a cat, not a lioness, a lion with a full magnificent mane.
-Sirius is constantly shirtless (he will wear a jacket but never a shirt) and has a six pack despite surviving on insects and rats for 12 years
Snape having scars is easy to put in canon with some minor twists in the dialoge btw, like making lily think the willow was the one that scarred him, imagine how frustrated Snape would be that he has to pass the werewolf thing as a theory when he has permanent evidence on his face?!? I Am-
(Idk if scars by a magic tree and a werewolf would be different but like…its a magic tree and a werewolf, who cares)

when Harry and the order were out of sight, Snape and the rest of the Death Eaters landed hastily on the ground, exhausted, while Snape was in a cold sweat.
“great aim! the dark lord will be delighted to know that we lost them and that one of us is dead thanks to you” one of the hodded men reproached him.
“Oh, shut your mouth, scum, I’ll know how to appease our lord for my failure and as for our dear friend, he shouldn’t have flown so close to me.” Snape croaked, trembling slightly as he spat on the ground near the dead Death Eater’s head.“
jk! I know you have a dumb rule about good guys not killing, fine I will follow it and snape didnt technically kills the guy here, did he? XD
