Women ARE inherently different than men for biological reasons.
Women are physically weaker on average than men and the female reproductive system is designed to give birth. These two biological realities made women both easy to overpower, and the only way to create more men.
Feminine gender standards are designed to make women believe they are lesser and that their worth is determined by how sexually submissive and available they are to men or by how many children (especially sons) they can provide for men.
Femininity literally would not exist if women were just as strong as men, or if men could birth their own children.
That is why womanhood is not a gender identity. Womanhood is the state of being part of the oppressed sex, a person whose body parts make them easier to turn into profitable human property. Without feminine gender being imposed upon us, without men controlling, beating, raping, and killing us, we can be every bit as successful and capable as men are allowed to be.
This is why sex matters and gender should be abolished. Sex is the body, gender is the chains.
Women are oppressed on the basis of sex. Women are oppressed so that men can take advantage of their ability to give birth. Women are gendered (indoctrinated into femininity) so that they will be less able or even desirous of liberating themselves.
Sex is not gender. Sex matters because our lives and our freedom matter.
That’s between you and the Oxford English Dictionary, which defines lesbian as “a homosexual woman”; defines homosexual as “attracted to one’s own sex”; and defines sex as “a person’s genitals”. An investigation found that the university had reduced all medical school applicants’ initial test scores by 20%, before inflating the scores of male applicants’ exams. The institution initially defended the policy by arguing that women were more likely to leave the medical profession to pursue motherhood, creating a staffing shortage in the sector.

well, i believe that sex is innate. it’s determined in utero based in part on your chromosomes and observed at birth. then, males and females are divided into strict, hierarchal social categories called gender roles. that system is called gender. in an ideal world, gender would not exist, and your sex would have no relation to your interests, personality, or mental abilities. your sex should say nothing about you as a person. but right now, females are seen as inferior because of their sex, and feminism was created to liberate women as a class. that means it’s necessary to define what a woman is and that misogyny is not the hatred of femininity, which is a construct, but of the female sex. i also believe that homosexuality is innate. i believe that homosexual people have the right to define themselves by their exclusive same-sex attraction, and should be open about it no matter who it offends on any side of the political spectrum.

A terf is a “feminist” who has fundamentally transphobic ideals. They’re quite harmful for trans people, especially trans women, but their ideas also affect the entire lgbt community. I’m sure someone else can put it into better words but that’s the general idea.
