when your 15 year cash cow is the only thing keeping your unprofitable network afloat and it’s ending so you produce a copaganda show starring one of the main actors in an attempt to keep that dedicated audience, but in marketing this new show you butcher the cash cow’s last season and alienate a significant portion of the viewers, the finale inevitably overshadowed by accusations of queerbait and homophobia which drives off those viewers from your network completely, and now you’re left with a reboot of walker texas ranger in a politically divisive cultural climate and you realize that the actor that stayed on your network wasn’t really the main draw to your television behemoth and the other actors who arguably did draw in viewers have moved on to other projects with no interest in coming back to your network, and then your star actor has a twitter meltdown and the other main actor in your copaganda leaves for “personal reasons” and your powerpuff girls live-action remake gets its pilot script leaked and torn apart over social media and somehow riverdale becomes your last line of defense against online streaming who is quickly destroying network television which you haven’t made money off of since 2006 anyway
thinking about cas possessing kelly again. mm. good thinks
he’s doing it to mitigate the damage of a nephil birth obviously but also kelly says FUCK this aching body. im sick of peeing all the time. so cas just spends like three weeks intermittently possessing her (for her comfort). and by the time the winchesters get to the beach house they have some weiiird kinda twin connection/drift compatibility going on. also dean gets to see cas with a girl vessel and it blows his mind. he doesn’t even have the energy to be mad he’s just like. fixated on the height difference and the voice (which cas doesn’t change. it’s just kelly’s voice but more monotone) AND also the whole rosemary’s baby thing is still happening and his wires are crossed. he’s all frantic treating cas like he’d treat a normal pregnant person even though cas is like “the whole point of this is that i’m using my grace to subdue the pain. i’m stronger than you rn” but he is obviously enjoying the attention. meanwhile mary and sam are sitting in the living room drinking weak tea that caskelly made them and regretting the entire mission
sam tries to use the bathroom and screams bloody murder after getting jumpscared by cas’ vessel in the tub. meanwhile dean’s pacing the halls contemplating gender identity for the first time in his life
AU where Cas fesses up to Dean in season fifteen about his deal with the Empty - maybe after they reconcile, but before all the wounds have healed over completely, so they’re still sore and tender around each other. And he tells Dean, because he’s afraid, and because Dean begs him No more secrets -
And of course Dean asks about the conditions of the deal afterward, so Cas has to tell him. I have to be truly happy. Then the Empty will take me. I knew I would have a good amount of time before it would come collect, because I rarely feel moments of true happiness.
And Dean asks what the hell constitutes a moment of “true happiness”, because that seems pretty fucking vague, okay! And Cas explains that there are things unsaid between them that he wants badly to express. He explains that expressing them would make him very happy.
“You’re, uh. I don’t think that counts as a secret,” Dean says. “If we’re both talking about the same thing.”
“So you know, then?” Cas asks. “You know what I have to say?”
Dean rubs a hand awkwardly over the back of his neck. “…Cas.”
“No, you’re right. Better not to tell me,” Cas decides. “I can’t say it, and neither can you. It’s too risky.”
So for the next torturous while, both Dean and Cas are hyper-aware of the fact that Cas is in love with him, that it’s mutual, and that neither of them can acknowledge it in the slightest or Cas will die. Cue the both of them riding the razor’s edge between flirting and not flirting, both of them so so so careful not to step a toe out of line even though they desperately want to. Orpheus and Lot’s wife both trying hopelessly not to look over their shoulder.

Now I just want to talk about sam’s facial expression in this scene it clearly shows fear he’s afraidbut he’s also angry and he doesn’t know what do next and his emotions get the better of him so he does the thing he’d been taught to do since he was young, he picks a up a gun and shoots the newest threat.
But oh no no, sam winchester clearly isn’t aiming to kill he was sending a message to chuck he was saying we’ve had enough of your bullshit and that although he was scared he was fully prepared to go against chuck
BuUuuUutmight I remind you he did this in a moment of fear and anger to try and save jack. he didn’t take in to account what chuck might actually do he took a blind shot and maybe he realized that when the shot backfired on him
For season 15 I think some of it will have sam tormenting himself because he’d say that once again he started the apocalypse and he’d think that maybe if he hadn’t shot chuck none of this would have happend, but maybe it would have anyway dean would tell him. But you know we’ll just have to wait and see.
That one episode in supernatural where they summoned zeus and then killed him (more like artemis killed him but anyway) made me think that if it were that easy to kill zeus I guarantee you that percy jackson would be breaking down the doors of Olympus with an axe while yelling “HERE’S JOHNNY”
