I made an amino community for hobbies like art, crafts, reading, writing, cooking, makeup, gardening, hiking, photography, etc. I have yet to get off the ground but I’d love to see you there and see the community grow.
Met a new person today in a theater kid group. We kept talking about what costumes we could put together from home, and I was trying and failing to not sound like a furry. I have plenty of ears and tails we could use in costumes, multiple types. And that’s what I have to share. Thats all. How tf do I say that without sounding like like furry? I don’t want this to be the first impression I leave on someone, and yet it very much is and I failed miserably.
I’m not a big fan of New Year’s Resolutions. I end up flunking them by the second week of January. Tops. Yet, after some considerable lack of inspiration and energy, I decided it was time to shake things up. There is so much good artistic expression around and all I find myself doing is scrolling down my feed. Beat it, self. “Time to be a go-getter and revive that culture indulgence again.” And…
“In DRESS SUITS TO HIRE, a heady mixture of erotic fantasy and hard-boiled pulp drama, two "sisters” who live in a rental clothing shop use the merchandise to try on various facets of their personalities. Created by Holly Hughes, Peggy Shaw and Lois Weaver, DRESS SUITS TO HIRE is a haunting and hilarious look into a room where one woman embodies a dark and predatory sexuality while the other one struggling against lesbian desires and her autonomous and abusive right hand. DRESS SUITS TO HIRE, which won OBIE Awards for both Shaw and Hughes (Shaw for her performance in the original 1987 production and a special citation for Hughes for the 1993 revival), is a mellifluous ode to lesbian eros and a joyful, literate send-up of all romantic fantasy.“ - LAMAMA
