Painted rogue in her Savage Land costume… in homage to one of the first X-books I picked up as a kid (Uncanny X-men 274, with a SWEET Jim Lee cover). I gave Rogue a Saber-tooth tiger hunting buddy. Because WHY NOT? :D

RIP Stan Lee. A fan once told me that they took a couple of my prints to get signed by him at a con and he was like “These are great!” – And that is basically the highpoint of my career.
Stan created the X-Men (along with Jack Kirby, of course). I consider that to be his most important creation.
Stan Lee understood that readers could look at a group comprised entirely of minority characters and see heroes.
In creating the X-Men, Stan made a space to tell the exploits of minority characters. In their own story. Forever.
They weren’t just Very Special Guests used to help Cap & Iron Man explore themes of minority oppresssion and ostracism.
The X-Men were their own institution from issue #1. As if they were there all along. Stan used his amazing gift for characters to humanize The Other, and gave them all a place in his Marvel Universe to be their authentic, uncanny selves…
1. Scott and Alex Hug. I prefer when they don’t fight.
2. Scott doesn’t have much. Yet, he still asks Alex if he wants it. Why does it hurt me? He’s a sweetheart.
3. Scott was still being told by everyone that he killed Charles ‘Asshole’ Xavier and it was unacceptable. Xavier had it coming. I don’t understand why they pinned all the blame on Scott. Alex for once is right. Scott shouldn’t surrender.

5. Summers Brothers Pizza Parlor. Yes. We need it. Make it a thing already.
That awkward moment when you just wake up after been crucified and tortured for Days by a bunch of assholes (because you’re a mutant, and probably because you’re canadian) just to find out that a little tiny Orphan mutant has saved you (kind of).
And now both of you are in her secret hiding (witch It is in a secret place of the place what used to be your team secret hidding). And the bunch of assholes are searching for you and now her probably, luckily, for killing both of you.
So It is the time for a team Up, leave behind that awful place and going to an adventure (you has to find Psylocke)
Plus you’re going to adopt the little Orphan mutant Girl.
