long time without posting due to the lockdown and cancellation of my gcses

but i am now in year 12 which is going great so far and settling back into doing work now

so i thought i might revive this account to keep some track of what i do and keep me motivated ☺️

Reflection on this Last Academic Year

Due to the virus resulting in the closure of schools across the world for the unseeable future, I think it is the perfect time to regain your thoughts and reflect on your time spent studying this year.

1. Make a list of habits/things you want to change for the next academic year.

I think this task can be very beneficial. You have been stopped suddenly in your studies and the world has changed drastically around us as we stay indoors. By redirecting on what you were doing well this year and what you weren’t will be extremely helpful in preparation to return to school.

2. Declutter your school life.

In the middle of the school year, the habits you wanted to implement may have been stopped as you became lazier. Now that you have time off, you can reflect on those and reset those goals and habits you desired to have. We’re they too ambitious or did you not put enough effort in?

3. Write your perfect schedule.

In this quarantine, you can take the time to write your desired morning, night and after school routines in detail. This will help you prepare for when you return and you can start as you want to. Make sure to include all the steps in detail and add in timings too if you wish.

4. Cleanse your digital devices.

For those of you who use your laptop or phone to plan, write notes or study, this time at home can include spending a few hours going through your folders, apps, organisation systems and mail. Clearing unnecessary downloads and documents will clear up space but also make it easier to navigate your digital space. I will be writing a post on what I am doing for this task in more detail soon.

Thank you for reading and I hope you are all staying safe and home (if on lockdown). I give my thoughts to those in hospital and their families who have lost so much due to this global pandemic. Please support your friends and family during this time and stay in touch with anyone who may be alone. As my mum likes to say, be a helper not a taker. Do what you can for those around you even if it’s a phone call to check in :)

This account has grown so quickly on here and even while i’ve been gone for a month. Thank you all so much

Continuing with the study, this time with the most basic topics of Spanish, on grammatical structure.

It is really a bit surreal to study these topics when you are about to start a master’s degree in Science, but there are certainly a couple of things that I took for granted and didn’t quite remember, I don’t think I had studied them for more than 10 years.

Thank you for 9,000 followers!!!

it seems like i’m going to have to relearn the very basics of chemistry because i forgot basically everything. but, guess who also registered for a chemistry class this fall, so the material is necessary for me to succeed in the class.

i have posted once again. i have not been taken many notes lately as my school year has come to an end. i am now using an ipad to take notes instead of my surface pro.

• good night•

this photo was more of just a test, rather than one that was meant to be posted. because i am now taking notes on good notes, i am trying to learn how to edit the pictures so that the notes look as if they were in dark mode. onenote would inverse my notes automatically when dark mode was on, but goodnotes does not do this. i also don’t want to write on black paper as the highlighter tool doesn’t show up. this is how the inverse editing turned out!

good afternoon, here are my first notes from this semester. these notes are for chemistry two. i have always enjoyed the conceptual parts of chemistry, but never have been a huge fan of the mathematics.

• Good Afternoon •

Here is today’s study notes post. I first did these notes in white paper to see if it looked better for the instagram aesthetic. However, I decided to change it to black notes since I thought it looks better.

• good evening •

i have moved all of my instagram accounts to my study opal account. please check it out if you’re on insta!

I started working on my project using overleaf yesterday. So far I’ve completed one out of the four sections that I need to do, I just have to finish off two moreproofs and then I’ll be done.
