#christianity
As a Christian, I was raised to believe that same sex marriage was wrong.
But as a human being, I know that denying other human beings the right to love their significant other is wrong.
Just doing some journaling tonight, rejoicing in the beautiful life Christ has given me.
What a wonderful reminder.
Don’t quit in hard times. Pray all the harder.
What a beautiful thing it is to know that the Lord’s love for us is so great that it has absolutely no way to be measured. A love that is comforting. A love that is forgiving. A love that fulfills our hearts and our souls. A love that is steadfast, despite our weaknesses and sins. A love that does not diminish based on our shortcomings or failures. There is truly no greater love than that of the one that created us — and if you don’t feel loved or valued right now, rest in the fact that he loves you, and his love is enough.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
This is a verse that I come across often, but it wasn’t until recently that I really stopped to think about the beauty of what this verse encapsulates. It’s a verse that is short, simple, and to-the-point, and that’s what is so beautiful about it. It simply tells us to let God be God.
Instead of taking things into our own hands because we want our desires to fit our timing, simply be still and let God work. Every single day, I’m learning to be better at just sitting back and fully trusting the Lord & his timing in my life.
My prayer is that I will continue to trust and seek the Lord in obedience, instead of acting out of desperation or a lack of faith. Lots can happen when we intentionally decide to just be still and hand over the need for control that so many of us desire to have.
When you can’t seem to put your prayer into words, know that God hears your heart.
Our wounds are often Gods access points to our heart.
Striving, not perfect, because perfect doesn’t exist.

Jesus Christ died for you, but NEVER forget that He ROSE for you.
Anxiety shows that we are too close to the world, and too far from God.
My worth is found in Christ and only in Christ.
Where sin runs deep, His love runs deeper.
I am fallen, flawed and imperfect. Yet I am filled with the grace and mercy that is found in the Lord.
