What if I told you I predicted the appearance of the “Unitled Goose Game” four years before it was released.  Would you believe me?  Just look at this pattern I published in 2015. Do you see the resemblance? Is it just a coincidence, or perhaps, something more…

It’s so dark and cloudy lately, it’s difficult to take a good picture of my recent embroidery projects! So here is a crapy image of my latest embroidered medallions they will be soon added on my shop as necklaces with velvet ribbons, and you can already make a reservation for the ones with a cat on it if you are interested!

Hi guys I’m back from the dead–medical/graduate school is much. I’m debating whether or not to migrate to Instagram but we’ll see.

A deceptively simple pattern. First post in three months because I have to be a functioning adult now (I just graduated college!).

Nouveau designed by Joel Cooper | reverse engineered|folded by

It’s been a while, and I’ve been very busy getting ready to graduate this spring (hard to believe considering I started this blog during high school). This was my winter break project, and is a design I’ve wanted to do for a while.

I liked this design so much that I folded it on a massive sheet of glassine. It’s nowhere near as neat as Alessandro Beber’s version, but I tried my best.

I’ve returned from the dead yet again with another tessellation, this one of my own design. I’ve been under a lot of stress recently because of graduate school applications but I’m also in the middle of IOIO 2018 so look out for more posts!

I’ve temporarily revived from the dead to fold some models. I really like how the model is semi-translucent because I used tracing paper. Also I learned this model from OrigamiConnect webinars offered by OrigamiUSA, which I highly recommend (link above).

I actually bought the booklet a couple of years back and never folded anything because I didn’t think I could figure out the crease pattern, and look at me now.

Making the grid for these is really tricky because it’s a mixed square/triangle grid on a dodecagon, but the results are definitely worth it.

I had the chance to visit the OrigamiUSA library while I was in NYC and had a field day. Also being able to fold Robert Lang designs is kind of a dream come true.
