#draco malfoy x reader
Draco Malfoy has no regrets about the relationship he has with you. Especially as the War has only justended.
Your heart pounded in your ears as you watched with bated breath at the intensity of the fight between your current worst nightmare and your classmate.
Words had been shared between the two adversaries but you were overly engaged in fighting for your life to be really interested in what the two males were actually saying to one another. Only catching glimpses of them as you twisted and contorted in your grim dance.
As you faced your newest opponent, duelling aggressive spells towards them, not allowing them a moment to attack you, waves of powerful magic reached you, overpowering you; crippling all sense of movement as it compelled you to turn to its epicentre in wonder; in horror. In hope.
Harry Potter.
Survivor.
Victor.
Returning to your body from the shock, you turned to your side and cast a spell to your opponent who didn’t even realise what had happened to him, still gravely focused on the fall of his Master. If you hadn’t have been in the battle, the sound his skull made as it connected with the floor, would have made you cringe and sick to your stomach.
Looking around the room, what was once the immaculately gorgeous Great Hall, your ears ringing, you started to tend to the injured. You prepared yourself with studying medical journals and shadowing Madame Pomfrey for this very reason. You had basic medic skills, considering who you were friends with and with the threat of war, at the time, becoming all the more real, you studied more and for longer.
During the time it took, from the first break of sunlight to the Hall being cast in a golden hue, you had tended to a range of injuries. As small as disinfecting cuts to something as painful as wrapping broken ribs.
Hermione and Ginny had made their way over to you both to seek medical treatment and to make sure you were alright. The younger ginger had hugged you tightly, when you had wrapped her wrist securely in bandage, burying her head into your neck for comfort and to bawl her sorrows out; Hermione huddled close to the pair of you, offering her support with a gentle hand rubbing Ginny’s back.
The three of you stood there for a while. Basking in the peace and emotional comfort of each other. Long enough for Ginny to wipe her eyes and gather her wits once more, before taking a deep breath and headed over to her family.
Hermione stayed with you, her arm hooked through yours, supporting each other as you observed the room. “Hey, ‘Mione?” You whispered, your strength was slowly depleting and the strain had made it difficult to talk at a normal level.
“Hmm?” She too was experiencing the drain of energy. Unable to really formulate a sentence without effort.
Both of you standing with your weight balanced against the other.
“Are you and Ron together now?”
She snorted, emotions were taught and laughter was a foreign concept at the moment but a small twitch of her lips gave way to the beginnings of a smile, “yeah, I think so.”
“That’s good.”
“Yeah.”
“I told you so.”
“Oh, Y/N.” Hermione drawled, a small smile now on her lips. “What about you and Draco?”
Your response was a small shrug, worry tightening its chains around your heart as you admitted, “I haven’t seen him since before all…this.”
“If it helps, I think I can see him across the room.” Your eyes darted over everyone in the Hall which was thoroughly packed with people. Quickly, your eyes landed on a strikingly blonde head of hair in the direction Hermione had gestured to.
From this distance you observed, scanning his body, as much of it as you could from where you were, for any obvious injuries and wounds. With a deep breath that exhaled as a heavy sigh, you couldn’t see anything.
“Go to him.” Was the quiet prompt you received in your ear. A quick glance back to Hermione, ensuring she would be okay, she pushed you on.
Your feet wouldn’t run as your steps were already heavy from exhaustion.
No one stopped you as you passed them, nor did you want them to.
Your tired brain could only focus on its task, getting to Draco. Cheering your limbs to keep moving. You were nearly there.
Narcissa met your gaze, a fleeting smile gracing her lips as she watched you approach before putting her hand on her son’s shoulder and encouraging him to look up.
His eyes lit up in a blaze of renowned emotion and his body rocketed up from where he was sat, rushing to wrap you up in a tight embrace.
Your arms wrapped themselves around his neck, holding him in place. His own had secured themselves around your waist and along your back.
You were embracing each other so tightly, so securely that for a moment, no one could tell what was Draco and what was you.
With a hiccup, Draco lifted his head, gently resting his forehead against yours, your noses brushing and eyes locked together. A lone tear fell down your cheek as Draco took a deep breath to steady himself, “I love you.”
A smile bloomed on your face, “as I love you. No regrets, Draco. None.” Declared with finality from your soul, sealed with a kiss.
A promise for the both of you that no matter what happened in the past, what had only juststoppedhappening, and what will happen, will be done because neither one of you would carry regrets into your future together.
It was not an immediate fix. No one overcomes the turmoil of a War overnight.
It was a promise between the two of you, only.
One that would help you both to heal. To move on. To grow and to mature.
To live.
To be happy.
“No regrets.”

You could stare into his eyes forever. Something about him got you mesmerized, the way his ice blue eyes would sparkle whenever he did something he enjoyed, and the way his lanky finger would play with his silver rings that fit his fingers so perfectly; he never failed to make you weak at the knees. Your fingers intertwined perfectly with his and it was almost like your hands were made to run through his blond hair. You and Draco Malfoy had known each other for years now, and you two had been fooling around for as long as you could remember. It all started off innocently, just seeing each other to enjoy each other’s company. But Draco, later on, became your first everything. Your first kiss, the one who took your virginity, and most importantly; your first love.
You and Draco never really established what your relationship was. As you two grew older, you would start seeing each other purely because of the sex and nothing else. Except, to you, it meant everything. You had fallen head over heels with the taller boy, thinking about him every night and day; wanting to spend every single second with him. But you could tell Draco didn’t feel the same way towards you. The only time you saw him, besides class, was late at night when he would ask you to meet him outside of your common room. You knew it was nothing but him wanting to have sex, but it didn’t matter to you. As long as you got to spend time with him, you were happy.
Even though you knew he wasn’t in love with you like you were with him, your heart broke when he got a girlfriend. He met her at the end of the sixth year, and you were now approaching the end of your seventh year. You expected your relationship with Draco to end when he met her, but to your surprise, it didn’t. Even after the two of them got together, he would still come knocking at your dorm room, falling asleep next to you almost every night. He said it was because she just didn’t pleasure him the way you did, and even though you knew it was wrong, you couldn’t help it.
‘’I’m just going to use the restroom,’’ You shouted to your friend, placing the glass you were holding in your hand on the table in front of you. As you were soon graduating from Hogwarts, a couple of Slytherins had decided to throw a party to celebrate. Of course, you had decided to go, bringing your friend with you, in hopes that you would see him. To your disappointment, you hadn’t seen him for the whole night. You had been there for a couple of hours now and you were slowly getting bored of the party; your only intention being to see him. You quickly stood up, feeling a little dizzy from all the drinks, making your way through the crowd.
You let out a sigh as you entered the empty room, the music slowly fading away as you got further and further away. You looked at yourself in one of the mirrors, touching up your hair using your hands. As you looked down at your bag you were now holding in your hands, searching for a brush, you heard someone enter the room. Suddenly, you felt a pair of lanky arms wrap around your waist; making you jump. ‘’Hello there,’’ Someone whispered into your ear, nuzzling their face into your shoulder. You quickly looked up at the mirror in front of you again, your whole body relaxing when you realized who it was. ‘’Hello there Draco,’’ You chuckled, your stomach immediately being filled with butterflies as you spotted his blond hair. ‘’You look absolutely stunning tonight Y/N,’’ He mumbled as he pressed a sloppy kiss against your neck, making you slightly tilt your head as you watched him in the mirror. His hands slowly made his way from your waist to your hips, stroking your body using his hands. ‘’I love this dress on you.’’ He mumbled again, pressing another sloppy kiss at the crook of your neck.
Truth was, you had only chosen that specific dress to get a reaction out of him. You smiled as a small blush spread across your cheeks, knowing your plan had worked. You could tell he was drunk, his words being slightly slurred and his hands getting closer to your breasts. His big hands slowly grabbed them, massaging them lightly as he continued to kiss down your neck. You let out a gasp as you turned around, playfully pushing him off you. ‘’Draco!’’ You let out, him stumbling back as he tried to regain his balance. ‘’I’m sorry, you just look too good,’’ He let out, throwing his hand into the air in defense. You let out a laugh as he got closer to you again, a small smile plastered on his lips. He slowly put his hands on your waist again, pulling you closer. You looked up at him as you placed your hands on his chest. ‘’What if someone sees us?’’ You whispered, his eyes scanning your body.
‘’Don’t worry,’’ He mumbled as he leaned down to press a kiss on your neck, your hands leaving his chest as you wrapped them around his neck. ‘’She’s already left.’’ The words made your heart drop, you had completely forgotten about her for a split moment. His touch made you forget the world around you, slipping into your own world. He looked up at you, his eyes glossy as he looked down at your lips. You looked up at him, pulling down using your hands. He pressed his lips against yours, you could taste the alcohol on them but you didn’t mind. You felt one of his hands traveling down your back, grabbing your ass. You let out a small moan as he smirked into the kiss. ‘’How about we leave?’’ He whispered, making you nod as he smacked your ass, making you gasp once again.
Since everyone was too busy partying, no one noticed you and Draco sneaking into his dorm. As soon as he closed the door, his lips were attached to yours once again. You wrapped your arms around his neck as he deepened the kiss, placing one hand on your waist and using the other one to lock the door behind you. He pressed you against the door, you could feel the bulge in his pants growing as he pressed himself against you. You loved the effect you had on him, knowing no one else could do this to him; not even his own girlfriend. ‘’You really thought you could get away with wearing that, huh?’’ Draco mumbled into the kiss, making you slightly moan as one of your hands found their way to his hair, slightly pulling at it. He pulled away, inhaling as the kiss left both of you gasping for air. You looked at him for a second before smashing your lips against his once again. This time, it was rougher.
His hands pulled at the material of your dress, desperately trying to pull you closer to him. ‘’This dress needs to come off, now,’’ He grunted as he broke the kiss. His hands slowly made their way towards the back of your dress, playing with the zipper. But before he got the chance to pull the zipper down, you grabbed his hands. ‘’Draco, you’re drunk,’’ You mumbled, making him take his eyes off your body as his eyes met yours instead. ‘’C’mon Y/N, I need you so bad,’’ He groaned as his lips found their way back to your neck. You chuckled as you grabbed his cheeks, pulling him back up so he was once again facing you. ‘’As much as I want that, it’s not right,’’ You said with a small smile on your lips.
He looked down at you, furrowing his eyebrows. ‘’Why not? You know how good I could please you,’’ He continued, snatching his head away from your grip; his lips once again meeting your neck. This time, he was slightly sucking on the sensitive skin. As much as you wanted him to continue, you just couldn’t let it happen. ‘’Draco,’’ You let out in a stern voice, once again pulling him away from you. He looked down at you in confusion, licking his lips. ‘’It’s not fair. Not to her,’’ You mumbled. As soon as the words left your lips, Draco let out a groan in annoyance, taking his hands off your waist as he shook his head. ‘’How many times do I have to tell you? She won’t know!’’ He let out, making you regret your words. ‘’But it’s still not right,’’ You whispered, looking away from the taller boy; too scared to maintain eye contact. You could hear him sigh as he walked past you, making you turn around.
There was a long silence. You watched him place his hands over his eyes as he sat down on his bed, rubbing them. ‘’You love her, don’t you?’’ You blurted out. He looked up at you, confusion plastered on his face. ‘’Of course I do.’’ He answered, not taking his eyes off you. ‘’What is this then?’’ You asked, your voice starting to tremble as you spoke. He let out another sigh in annoyance, you could tell he was getting angrier. ‘’Look,’’ He muttered as he slowly stood up once again. ‘’You make me hard,’’ He chuckled as he slowly got closer to you. You watched him carefully. ‘’But she makes me weak.’’
The words stabbed you in the heart. You felt like the world came crashing down as the words left his lips, causing you to take a deep breath. You slowly shook your head, looking down at your feet. ‘’I think this was a mistake,’’ You mumbled, trying your best to hold the tears that were now burning behind your eyelids. ‘’Don’t be silly, Y/N,’’ Draco groaned, placing one of his hands on your cheek. You quickly snatched his hand away, looking back up at him. He stared at you for a moment, his expression empty; taken aback. ‘’Then be my mistake.’’ He let out after a short silence. The whole situation was so ironic, making you chuckle as you shook your head. ‘’No.’’ You said shortly, the tears threatening to fall down your cheek any second. ‘’I shouldn’t have asked you to come.’’ He muttered as he shook his head, turning around once again as he walked towards his bed. You watched him as he took his shirt off, throwing it across the room before he got into bed; pulling the sheets over his lanky body. You watched him turn around, quickly wiping your eyes dry before he could see that you were crying. ‘’Can you at least spend the night?’’
A small smile formed on your lips as you slowly walked towards the bed, sitting down. His back was facing you, your eyes scanning his body. Counting the birthmarks that were splattered all over his back, counting them just like you had done many nights before. There was always the same amount, 7, to be exact. You carefully laid down next to him, turning around you so were facing his back. You slowly wrapped your arm around his waist, trying to pull yourself closer to him. But the boy quickly wiggled out of your grip, making your arm fall down your side again. ‘’I don’t want to hug, I just want to sleep.’’ He muttered, his back still facing you.
You felt the tears well up behind your eyelids once again, shutting your eyes shut as you laid there in silence. You decided it was best not to say anything and just let him go to sleep. You knew this was the last time you would get to spend time with Draco this way, your heart aching as the thought entered your mind. A tear dropped down your cheek, doing your best to hold the sobs back. You let the tears stream down your cheeks as soon as you heard him lightly snoring in front of you, knowing he was asleep. You turned around so you were laying on your back, staring at the ceiling.
You didn’t sleep that night. The heartbreak kept you awake all night, not that it mattered anyways because you knew you had to get up early so you could leave before everyone woke up. You left early, earlier than usual that morning, not even looking Dracos way one last time as you left his dorm. You knew that if you did, you would just break down crying. But as soon as you entered the halls and couldn’t smell his fragrance anymore, you felt your heart break into a million pieces. You hurried down the halls, tears leaving your eyes as you tried your best to hold the sobs back just like you had done a couple of hours earlier.
That night was the last time Draco came looking for you late at night; both of you knew it was over. There was nothing left to say or do. The next day you watched how they walked down the halls, hand in hand, laughing. When he walked past you, not even looking your way; that was when you realized it was over. That was when you realized you were nothing but a mistake to him, and it absolutely killed you inside. The feeling of his rough lips pressed against your skin and his fingertips lingering over your bare thighs still remained, leaving you heart broken.

You hadn’t spoken to Draco in weeks. After he left you standing alone in one of the halls, feeling confused and heartbroken, you couldn’t find the courage to even look in his direction. He slowly started going to the classes you two shared, blaming his absence on ‘more important stuff’. People had been talking about why he hadn’t been attending some classes, some even asked you about it. But no one ever questioned him, everyone just went along with it and eventually just let go of the topic. You on the other hand, just couldn’t let go.
You were still utterly heartbroken. Sure, it had gotten easier being around him without your heart completely breaking or feeling like you were about to burst into tears any second. But the heartbreak always came lingering back at the end of the day, tears escaping your eyes as soon as you laid down in your bed where no one could see you. Hermione had been the first one to find you in the hallways, immediately spotting you crying while looking for you so the two of you could walk each other to class. That day, she swore that she would kill Malfoy one day. As soon as you told Ron and Harry about it, they swore that they would hex him next time they saw him. It took a while for you to talk them out of it, but eventually, you succeeded; even though it took a lot of convincing.
To your surprise, the heartbreak had led you to a new friendship. You had never interacted with Cedric Diggory during your time at Hogwarts even though you two shared a lot of classes together, until now. ‘’I don’t know what to do,’’ You complained, running your hands through your hair as you let out a sigh of annoyance. ‘’There’s no way I’m going to pass this class.’’ You said as Hermione hummed. ‘’Don’t say that,’’ She said, placing her hand on your shoulder. ‘’Why don’t you ask someone to help you out?’’ She asked, tilting her head. ‘’Like who? You’re too busy, Ron absolutely sucks at this subject and I know Harry is too busy as well,’’ You let out, throwing your hands in the air. Hermione looked around the room, scanning the students. ‘’I’ve heard Cedric is quite good at this class.’’ She eventually said, her eyes finding their way back to you.
After that, you and Cedric became friends. He was more than happy to help you, and eventually, the friendship turned into more than just him helping you study. He would sit with you during breakfast, walk you to all your classes, he would even wait for you after his classes just so he could walk you back to your dorm. But even though he was an amazing friend, you hated to admit the fact that he was nothing but a replacement. Sure, he did all the things Draco would do, but it just wasn’t the same thing. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t let go of him. And you hated yourself for it.
Today was no different. You walked out of your class, already knowing Cedric would be waiting for you just around the corner. A smile formed on your lips as you spotted the dark-haired boy leaning against the wall, his eyes scanning the hallways. A big smile formed on his lips as he spotted you as well, walking towards you. ‘’Hello there Y/N,’’ He greeted you as he wrapped his strong arms around your waist, pulling you into a warm hug. You wrapped one of your arms around his neck, the other one holding your books. ‘’Hello Cedric,’’ You let out, holding onto him tightly. ‘’Do you mind me helping you out with those?’’ He asked as he pulled away from the hug, looking down at the books you were holding in your arms. ‘’Please.’’ You laughed as you handed him your books. He gave you a warm smile as you started walking down the halls.
You had to admit, Cedric was attractive. You knew every girl at Hogwarts thought the exact same thing, some girls had even tried giving him a potion that would make him fall in love with them. The first time Cedric told you about it, you couldn’t help but laugh. Who could blame them? He had everything a girl could possibly want. An amazing smile, his piercing eyes, and a charming personality. Yet, you just couldn’t let yourself fall for him. Any girl would fall head over heels for him if they were in your position, but you just couldn’t do it. Somewhere in your mind, the thought of Draco one day coming back to you still lingered and it was absolutely crushing you.
The yellow scarf was hanging from his neck, complimenting his skin tone. His cheeks were slightly red from the cold, causing you to assume he had been waiting outside your classroom for quite some time. The school would get quite cold during the winter, the cold air easily slipping through the cracks of the walls causing you to shiver. ‘’Are you cold?’’ You asked, looking up at your friend. ‘’Can you tell?’’ He laughed as he placed one of his hands on his cheek, making you laugh. He smiled at you, not taking his eyes off you. ‘’Hey Y/N,’’ He let out after a short silence, slowing down. ‘’Yeah?’’ You replied, raising one of your eyebrows as you waited for him to continue his sentence. ‘’Who are you going with?’’ He asked as he stopped walking completely. ‘’To the ball, I mean.’’ He continued. You let out a small chuckle, shaking your head. ‘’No one has asked me yet,’’ You answered, knowing it was a lie. The truth was that the person you wanted to ask you hadn’t asked you yet. ‘’Well in that case, would you like to go with me?’’
The question made you raise both your eyebrows as you stared at the boy in front of you. He stared back at you, waiting for an answer. You inhaled the cold air as you looked away from his gaze for a second, thinking about the question. You knew Draco wasn’t going to ask you. The hope slowly faded away as you looked back at your friend, a smile forming on your lips. ‘’There is no one I’d rather go with, Cedric,’’ You said, a big smile immediately forming on his lips. He was quick to wrap his arms around you, pulling you into another warm hug. You let out a giggle as you hugged him back, closing your eyes. It was time to let go.
The word spread around Hogwarts faster than you could’ve imagined. The next morning when you walked into the Great Hall to eat breakfast, all eyes were on you. You looked around in confusion, quickly spotting Cedric sitting at the Hufflepuff table. He was sitting with his friends, all of them eventually spotting you as well. As soon as they saw you, they started tugging at Cedric; then it hit you. A blush crept up on your cheeks as you quickly looked away, realizing they must’ve heard that he was taking you to the Yule Ball. Your eyes scanned the room, suddenly locking with a pair of grey ones.
Your heart stopped beating for a second. The blond boy was staring at you from across the room, an empty expression on his face. This was the first time in weeks you had actually seen Draco like this and you were not expecting it to happen any time soon, especially not now. You took a deep breath as you quickly looked away, tears filling your eyes as your heart started to ache once again. You started walking towards your friends, deciding that the best thing to do right now was just to avoid him and his gaze; even though you could feel his eyes burning into your back as you walked away.
‘’Cedric Diggory, the man himself!’’ Ron let out as you sat down beside him. ‘’The infamous Diggory,’’ Harry continued his friend’s sentence, a smile on his face. ‘’How did you do it?’’ Ron asked, looking at you with a big smile. You let out a chuckle, shaking your head. ‘’It’s a secret.’’ You smirked, making both Harry and Ron holler as Hermione let out a small laugh. ‘’I was starting to worry that you wouldn’t even go Y/N,’’ Hermione let out, you could hear the worry filling her voice. She had been extremely worried about you since the incident with Draco, constantly checking up on you. You gave her a reassuring smile as you placed your hand on her leg. ‘’Of course Hermione, I would never miss the ball.’’ You smiled, her smiling back at you as she nodded. You placed your arms on the table, slipping into your own world as your friends continued talking about the ball. You slowly looked the direction where Draco was sitting, but he was nowhere to be seen.
‘’Excuse me,’’ You suddenly heard a voice say behind you, making you slightly jump. You turned around, hesitating to do so. As soon as you spotted the person standing behind you, your heart dropped. There he was, standing right in front of you. ‘’You need to leave Malfoy.’’ Hermione quickly said, her fists clenching as she spoke. ‘’That’s not a very nice way to greet me, is it, Granger?’’ Draco hissed, a smirk on his face as he looked Hermione’s way. You could see Hermione looking your way, but you couldn’t bring yourself to look up from your lap. ‘’What do you want?’’ Harry scoffed. Draco looked his way before slowly looking over at you once again. ‘’I came to talk to Y/N.’’ He grunted, your heart dropping as he said your name. ‘’No, absolutely not,’’ Hermione exclaimed, quickly standing up as she shook her head.
‘’I’m afraid it’s not your choice,’’ Draco chuckled, looking down at the shorter girl. ‘’So, Y/N, may I have a word with you?’’ He asked once again, looking back at you who was still sitting down. ‘’You don’t have to talk to him Y/N,’’ Hermione quickly said as her gaze met yours. ‘’Granger! Just stop talking already,’’ Draco hissed in annoyance. ‘’It’s okay Hermione, I’ll go talk to him.’’ You let out, giving her a small smile. She could see the sadness filling your face, but she knew there was nothing she could do about it so she just sat back down after a few moments of silence; letting out a huff in annoyance. You stood up, not daring to look up at Draco, scared that you would burst into tears. He grabbed your arm as he pulled you out of the room, just like he had done that day.
He eventually stopped walking as you reached a spot where no one could see or hear you, the lump in your throat growing bigger and bigger. You knew what had happened last time he wanted to talk, so you didn’t expect this to go down any differently; preparing yourself for another heartbreak. ‘’Cedric Diggory, huh?’’ He let out after a short silence. You could feel his presence in front of you, still not daring to look up at him. He placed his hands in his front pockets as a small sigh escaped his lips. ‘’Could you at least look at me?’’ He asked after another short silence. You inhaled some of the cold air before looking up at him, your eyes meeting his grey ones once again. ‘’Is it true that Diggory is taking you to the ball?’’ He asked, not taking his eyes off you. ‘’Yes,’’ You let out as Draco scoffed, shaking his head and he broke the eye contact. ‘’I’ve seen the two of you around,’’ He continued, making you raise one of your eyebrows in confusion. ‘’I see the way he looks at you.’’ He mumbled. ‘’We’re just going as friends.’’ You quickly mumbled, making him let out another scoff. ‘’Friends? Sure.’’ He scolded as his eyes met yours once again.
‘’I don’t see why it matters to you,’’ You eventually said. You were confused as to why he even cared, it wasn’t like he was planning on taking you anyways. ‘’I just care about you, that’s all,’’ Draco answered, causing you to chuckle. ‘’What’s that supposed to mean?’’ You asked, folding your arms. ‘’He’s just not a good guy Y/N,’’ He continued, making you gasp. You stared at him, disappointment filling your eyes. ‘’How dare you even say that?’’ You exclaimed, feeling the anger building up as you defended your friend. ‘’It’s not like you’re any better!’’ The words slipped out of you before you could stop yourself, slowly regretting what you had just said. ‘’You and Pansy truly do belong together, both of you are just as blind and ignorant.’’ You huffed before turning around to walk off, not wanting to say anything else; afraid it would only make the situation worse.
Before you had the chance to walk away, you felt Dracos cold hand wrap around your wrist once again, pulling you back. ‘’Excuse me?’’ He snapped, anger filling his voice. ‘’Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about!’’ You snapped back at him, shaking your head. ‘’I made it so obvious,’’ You continued, getting more and more upset as you spoke. ‘’Yet you were the one who broke my heart Draco, not Cedric!’’ You exclaimed. ‘’Made what obvious?’’ Draco barked, furrowing his eyebrows in anger. ‘’That I like you stupid!’’
With that being said, Draco slammed his lips against yours. You had no idea what do to, feeling paralyzed as his hand grabbed your cheek, pulling you closer to him. The kiss was raw, filled with emotions as you slowly relaxed into his touch. You slowly placed your hand on his chest, grabbing onto the fabric. He slowly pulled away, leaving you confused. ‘’What?’’ You whimpered as his forehead touched yours. ‘’Can’t you see?’’ He breathed. ‘’It was always you,’’ He let out as his hand caressed your cheek. You furrowed your eyebrows. ‘’But, Pansy,’’ You mumbled, shaking your head. Draco let out a chuckle, shaking his head as well. ‘’Why do you think she didn’t want me around you?’’ He asked, looking down at your small figure compared to his. ‘’But you treat her so differently,’’ You whispered, looking into his eyes. ‘’Only because I didn’t know how to treat you, knowing that I liked you.’’ He answered.
You had no idea what to say or do. His words felt unreal, almost like it wasn’t true. ‘’But,’’ Draco said, his hand slowly leaving your cheek. The cold feeling of his silver rings left your skin, making you ache for his touch. ‘’I understand if you’re with Diggory now.’’ He said, disappointment lingering in his voice. ‘’I mean, it’s my fault isn’t it?’’ He chuckled, looking down at you. You quickly grabbed his hand before he let it fall down his side, placing it back on your cheek. ‘’Please just kiss me,’’ You whispered, your eyes meeting his once again. He looked at you for a moment before leaning down to press his soft lips against yours once again, your heart slowly being filled with warmth as you pulled him closer.
‘’I couldn’t stand the way he looks at you,’’ He whispered as he pulled away. ‘’The way he stared at you from across the room.’’ You shook your head as the words left his lips. ‘’I was hoping it was you that was staring,’’ You let out, making him chuckle. ‘’You already know I was.’’ He gave you half a smile as the words left his mouth, pulling you into his chest. You closed your eyes as his long arms wrapped around you, finally feeling safe and sound. ‘’I think I have someone to go break up with,’’ He whispered into your ear, making you slap his arm lightly. ‘’You better.’’

You could see Draco perfectly from where you were sitting. His blond hair was falling over his forehead, his hands placed on the table in front of him; playing with one of his silver rings as he spoke to the person sitting next to him. You sat down across the room, along with your friends. You had been friends with Draco for quite some time now, and at this point it was getting hard for you to deny the crush you had developed on him over time. It was getting obvious, everyone seemed to notice, even your friends. Everyone buthim.
‘’What you staring at Y/N?’’ Rons sudden voice made you snap out of your thoughts, quickly looking his way. You felt a small blush creep upon you cheeks as Hermione shook her head in disapproval. ‘’What do you think, Ronald?’’ She let out in annoyance, looking up from the book she was holding in her hands. ‘’She’s obviously staring at Malfoy.’’ She continued, making you slap her arm lightly. ‘’I wasn’t staring!’’ You let out, a desperate try to defend yourself. ‘’Whatever you say.’’ She said under her breath, rolling her eyes. ‘’You know,’’ Ron let out, his mouth stuffed with food. ‘’I just can’t understand how you’re friend with someone like him.’’ He said, looking Dracos way as he picked his plate using his fork.
To be honest, you didn’t even know why you had fallen for the blond boy. Draco was known for his horrible ways, always picking on everyone, even you. But things changed as you got to know him, when you got to see the other side of him; the side people barely ever saw. He was actually quite a gentleman to the people he knew, he would always help you with your homework or invite you to hang out. Sure, he still had his moments where he could be really horrible, but as time passed that side slowly went away whenever he was around you. ‘’I don’t understand either,’’ Harry let out. ‘’You’ve seen yourself the way he acts.’’ You let out a small chuckle as your eyes found their way back to Draco. ‘’I wish I had an answer to your question Ron, but sadly I don’t.’’ You answered, making Ron scoff as he continued to eat his food. ‘’Enough about Draco,’’ Hermione said as she shut her book close, placing it on the table in front of her. ‘’Who are you planning on taking to the Yule Ball, boys?’’
The Yule Ball was coming up. Everyone was excited about it, especially Ron and Harry, their only chance to interact with a girl. You on the other hand, weren’t too excited. Some boys had already aksed you to the ball, which you had politely declined; in hopes that Draco would ask you. You knew it wasn’t going to happen, but you couldn’t help yourself from hoping that he would surprise you and ask you. ‘’Harry’s definietly taking Cho.’’ Ron said, a small smirk forming on his face. ‘’I haven’t even asked her yet!’’ Harry let out, looking around to make sure no one had heard his friend. You let out a small laugh as your eyes found their way back to Draco once again. He was now busy eating the food that was on the plate in front of him, making small conversation with the people around him.
That was when she sat down next to him. Pansy Parkinson. You knew Draco and the girl had always been friends, you had seen the two of them together before you became friends with Draco. But recently, you noticed that something changed between the two of them. They suddenly seemed very close, constantly hanging around each other. But most importanly, you noticed how Draco would change whenever he was around her. As soon as she entered the room, a smile would form on his lips as he always greeted her with a big hug. He would always act friendly around you, but never the way he acted around her. The smile on your lips slowly faded as he greeted the dark haired girl with a hug, like he always did. Suddenly, he placed his hand on her thigh. He probably thought no one noticed, but from where you were sitting you could see his hand under the table. Your heart dropped as you quickly looked away, not daring to continue looking. ‘’Y/N? Has anyone asked you yet?’’ Hermione asked you, making you look down at your lap. ‘’No,’’ You lied, playing with your fingers. ‘’Really?’’ Ron let out, sounding surprised. ‘’I wouldn’t worry about it too much, I’m sure someone is going to ask you soon.’’ Hermione gave you a comforting smile as you gave her a small smile back. You let out a small hum, picking up your fork.
After that, things changed. You hadn’t spoken to Draco in what felt like days, and it was driving you crazy. Sure, you had feeligns for him and it broke your heart not seeing him, but you were also afraid that you were losing him as your friend. It was unusal for Draco not to speak to you at least once a day, you two had a couple of classes together after all. But lately you hadn’t even seen him in class, your eyes searching for him in every class; looking for his bright blue eyes. To your disappointment, you never spotted him. ‘’Maybe Cedric will take you to the ball,’’ Ron said as you sat down on the cold grass next to him. ‘’Cedric?’’ You asked, confusion lingering in your voice. After you had told them no one had asked you to the ball a few days back, Ron hadn’t stopped talking about it. ‘’Diggory,’’ He continued, looking the opposite direction. Your eyes followed his, spotting the Hufflepuff sitting a few feet away. You let out a laugh as you shook your head. ‘’What makes you think that?’’ You asked, Hermione sitting down next to you. Ron shrugged as he looked back at you. ‘’Just giving you some options.’’
It was a cold day out. You had came outside with Ron and Hermione between one of your classes to take some fresh air, the cold air immediatly hitting your warm face as you stepped outside. You wrapped your coat around your body tighter, a desperete try to warm yourself up as you felt your whole body shiver. You looked around, studying the other students. It seemed like you weren’t the only one who had came out here as the whole courtyard was filled with students. That’s when you spotted him. You eyes immediatly became bigger as you quickly stood up. ‘’I’ll catch up with you guys later,’’ You mumbled, making your friends look at you in confusion. They quickly spotted the blond boy, making Hermione sigh. ‘’Off she goes.’’ She shook her head as she watched you walk off in a hurry.
‘’Draco!’’ You called out, getting closer and closer to him. He quickly turned around, his face slowly turning into a small smile has he spotted you. ‘’There you are,’’ You smiled as you wrapped your arms around the taller boy. He lightly hugged you back, quickly letting his arms fall to his sides. Your smile faded away and was replaced by a frown. You let go of the boy and looked up at him. ‘’Where have you been?’’ You asked, raising your eyebrows. ‘’What do you mean?’’ He asked, placing his hands in his pockets. ‘’I just haven’t seen you in ages,’’ You continued, not taking your eyes off him. He looked around, trying his best to avoid eye contact. ‘’I’ve just been busy.’’ He let out, still avoiding eye contact. ‘’With what exactly?’’ You asked once again, feeling your heart drop as you spoke. He let out a sigh in annoyance before grabbing your arm, walking off with you behind him.
You stumbled after him, confusion plastered all over your face. ‘’Where are we going?’’ You asked as you entered the school once again. The hallways were almost empty, everyone either waiting for the class to begin or hanging out with their friends outside. ‘’We need to talk.’’ He mumbled as he continued walking down the halls. He suddenly stopped walking, letting go off your arm; his cold hand leaving your skin. He turned around so he was facing you once again with a frown on his face. You looked at him, waiting for him to say something. His cheeks were red from the cold, his blue eyes brighter than ever. ‘’You know I’m with Pansy now, right?’’
The words made you feel sick. For a moment, you had no clue what to say. You opened your mouth to speak, but not a single word came out. ‘’Oh,’’ You let out after a short silence, him not taking his eyes of you. You could hear the hurt in your own voice, letting out a cough in order to try cover it up. ‘’Oh!’’ You let out again, this time trying your best to sound as happy as you possibly could. ‘’I’m so glad for you two, I mean, I can see the way she looks at you,’’ You said, forcing a smile; trying to convince him you were telling the truth. ‘’But,’’ you continued, the smile slowly fading. ‘’Is that what you wanted to talk about?’’ You asked. Draco let out a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair, looking away from your gaze. ‘’That’s why you haven’t seen me around, Y/N.’’ He muttered. You raised your eyebrows, failing to understand what he meant. ‘’Well, I understand if you want to hang around her and stuff, it’s just that I haven’t even seen you in class,’’ You continued, doubt filling your voice. ‘’You don’t understand,’’ He let out in annoyance, interrupting you. ‘’She doesn’t want me to hang around you anymore.’’
It took you a while to procress the words that had just left his mouth. You just couldn’t seem to understand what he meant by his words, leaving you confused. ‘’What?’’ You asked, meeting his gaze. ‘’And if that’s what she wants, that’s what I’m going to do,’’ He continued, not taking his eyes of you. You stared at him for a moment, trying to find the right words. You could tell he was trying to read your face, trying to understand what you were feeling. ‘’Have you been avoiding me?’’ Your voice was low, you could barely hear yourself speak. ‘’I’m sorry Y/N.’’ He mumbled under his breath, almost like he didn’t want you to hear him apologize. You felt the tears starting to well up behind your eyelids.
All this time, he was avoiding you. He wasn’t just missing classes because he was ill or something like that, he had been missing them because you were there. You held back your tears, looking down at the ground as you didn’t want him to see how his words affected you. ‘’So you mean we can’t even be friends?’’ You let out, your voice almost cracking. ‘’I’m afraid we can’t,’’ He spoke. ‘’But we were barely ever friends anyways, so it shouldn’t really matter.’’ He continued. The words made you chuckle, your heart breaking. His voice was so monotone, not a single emotion lingered in his voice. He didn’t even seem upset. ‘’I see,’’ You whispered, still looking down at your shoes. ‘’I’m sorry again, Y/N,’’ He said, fixing his tie as he spoke. ‘’I’ll see you around.’’ And with that being said, he left. He left you standing there, feeling empty. You could hear his shoes hitting the stone floor as he walked off, a tear finally escaping your eye as he could no longer see you. You looked up, watching his figure slowly disapearing as he walked further and further away. Another tear hit your cheek as you closed your eyes. ‘’I should’ve listened to my friends, huh?’’ You whispered to yourself, letting out a small chuckle at the irony of it all.
All along, you had denyed all the horrible things people had said about him; when in reality, it was all true. You sat down against the wall, letting the tears fall down your cheeks. Maybe he was right, you two were barely even friends. But you couldn’t help but think about the way he had acted around you. He would always act so different around you, throwing his arm around your shoulders or helping you out with the smallest of things. When you had accidently gotten hurt, he was the first to visit you in the hospital wing, even before any of your close friends. You could’ve sworn there was something there, but now, it all just seemed ridiclous. Maybe you just made it all up in your head, maybe you just wanted him to like you back so badly that you started to see things that wasn’t even there. But it didn’t matter, he had broken your heart, badly, without even knowing.

There was no one Draco Malfoy despised more than Harry Potter himself, and he wasn’t exactly keeping it a secret. Draco had been at Harry’s neck ever since the first day he saw the boy, there was something about him Draco just couldn’t stand. Everyone knew that it was purely because Harry had everything Draco had ever wanted, but Draco would never admit that. So instead his hate for Potter just grew more and more for each day that passed.
And there was no one Draco loved more than you, his girlfriend. Or he didn’t know if you actually were his girlfriend yet, but he surely knew he loved you and had for a long time. You started seeing Draco at the start of the sixth year, even though you had known him since your first year at Hogwarts. He never thought much of you, he never really said anything to you or even paid much attention to you. Until he got paired up with you in one of your classes, leading to him falling head over heels for you; wanting to be with you every second of the day. Draco wasn’t sure if you two were a couple yet, as you two did all the things couples would do; sleep together at night, cuddle and most importantly, have sex.
The blond boy walked into the great hall, ready to eat breakfast as his eyes searched the room for you. He spotted you sitting at your usual spot, waiting for him, just like you had done every morning. A small smile spread across Draco’s lips as he saw you talking to someone, being too busy with staring at your lips moving as you spoke to even look who you were talking to. But as he got closer, he quickly realized who it was. ‘’Potter,’’ The words left his lips, the small smile disappearing completely as he furrowed his eyebrows.
This was the last thing Draco wanted to see. He had never seen Harry speak to you before, so why was he talking to you all of a sudden? ‘’So you’re in the same charms class as me, right?’’ Harry asked with a smile on his lips as you nodded. ‘’Right!’’ You answered, smiling back at him. Harry had approached you just a couple of minutes earlier, asking if he could sit down for a minute. You had no problem with him whatsoever, so of course, you let him sit down next to you. ‘’I thought I’d seen you before,’’ He continued. ‘’It’s kind of hard to miss you, if you know what I mean.’’ His ears turned red as he spoke, clearly embarrassed. You had heard the rumors going around school, that Harry Potter wasn’t the best with girls; and at this point, you couldn’t help but laugh. ‘’I’m just going to assume that’s a compliment,’’ You laughed as the brown-haired boy next to you rubbed his neck. ‘’Oh, yeah, it was! It really was,’’ He stuttered, still embarrassed. ‘’I didn’t come over here to make a fool of myself though,’’ He chuckled, avoiding eye contact.
‘’Don’t be silly! Thank you for complimenting me.’’ You gave him a warm smile, letting him know it was okay. A small smile spread on Harry’s lips as he looked up at you, opening his mouth to speak. But before a word could leave his mouth, his smile dropped. You furrowed your eyebrows as his gaze turned to something behind you, his eyes big. ‘’Well,’’ A familiar voice said behind you, causing you to turn around to identify who the voice was coming from. ‘’I see you’ve taken a liking to my girl, Potter?’’ Draco spat, placing one of his large hands on your shoulder. ‘’Draco,’’ You let out, the words my girl surprising you. You could tell the words had surprised Harry just as much, as he couldn’t form another sentence. Harry would usually be rather quick when it came to talking back to Draco, but this time he was left completely quiet. ‘’Can I have a word with you, Y/N?’’ Draco asked, still looking at Harry who was still sitting next to you. You quickly nodded as you stood him, immediately being pulled away by the blond boy.
As you reached the empty Slytherin common room, all the other students eating breakfast which left you two alone, Draco pulled you in by the waist. ‘’So,’’ He muttered, breathing down your neck. ‘’Do I really have to show you who you belong to?’’ He whispered, pressing a kiss onto your neck, making your whole body shiver. ‘’You called my your girl,’’ You whimpered as he softly pressed another kiss onto your sensitive skin. Draco let out a small hum as he continued to press small kisses down your neck. ‘’Are you jealous?’’ You let out, causing Draco to freeze. You stood there, completely frozen as you were scared of what his next move would be. Instead, he just continued kissing down your neck, now slightly sucking on the sensitive skin. ‘’I just think Potter needs to learn how to stay in his place.’’ He mumbled against your skin, causing you to let out a small moan as you wrapped your arms around his neck; pulling you closer to him. He kissed up your jawline, his lips eventually meeting yours.
The kiss was rough. Your lips moved together perfectly as he just pulled you closer to him, his hands finding their way under your shirt as he grabbed onto your cold skin. Your hands found their way towards his blond hair, tugging at it; causing Draco to let out a small grunt as he kissed you even harder. At this point, you could feel his hard-on rub against the material of your clothes, making you wetter and wetter.
He grabbed your throat as he pulled away, making you groan as you never wanted him to pull away. ‘’How about,’’ He mumbled, looking down your body; admiring your figure. ‘’You show me who you belong to?’’ He said, looking back up at you. His eyes were filled with lust, making you weak at your knees as you wanted nothing more than for him to touch you. ‘’How do I do that?’’ You asked, causing a chuckle to leave Draco’s lips. ‘’Get down on those pretty knees for me love.’’ The very same moment the words left his lips, you dropped to your knees. You looked up at him, a smirk forming on his face as he stroked your hair. ‘’You’re such a good girl, my good girl.’’

“Lets be honest, this is so unusual,” i muttered as I sat between Draco’s legs, his hands weaving through my hair as I slumped deeper against his hard core. “What’s so unusual?” He questioned his fingers now playfully braiding my hair. Pausing for a quick second, i shuffle under him, flipping myself over as I sit opposite him, legs crossed while I gaze straight into his magnetic, alluring eyes.
“I mean- never in a thousand years did I ever think that allmy emotions would be all ‘cause of you,” I elaborated as a small smile curved from the corner of his lips cheekily. “Well your not wrong,”.
What was that supposed to mean?. “I mean there’s so many other clever, smart and beautiful girls out there and well- here I am sat with you,” his voice dripping with what seemed like Sarcasm but at the same time it sounded like he was taunting me. Grabbing at the pillow beside me, I wrapped my arms around it, slightly huffing under my breathe.
“I’m not tempted, even if their beautiful,” I blurted almost quick enough to cut him off from his sentence. I started to sound like I was filled with jealousy but apart of me felt like he was just messing with my head or purposely trying to get on my nerves. “No honestly Draco- I’ve never thought of letting go- I don’t know where I would be without you,” my voice more serious as my hand immediately flew to his wrist, my breathing hitching as I confessed something that had been eating me alive. I’d never seen a future with someone than this immensely gorgeous and loyal, platinum blonde haired boy and I don’t think I’d ever have wanted too either.
“You’d probably end up being very lonely,” he spluttered, making my heart twist as my body started to tense up. He was either being really straightforward or he was just being snarky. Classic Draco Malfoy. Pursing my lips into a fine line, my hand slowly withdrew from him, climbing out of his already made bed, avoiding any sort of eye contact. Desperately clutching onto his soft pillow, my eyes started to well up, my gaze now fixed on the shiny floor beneath me.
Rapidly blinking away my tears, I could hear Him breaking out into a giggle which soon
Distorted into a hysterical sort of laugh, his body falling backwards into a pile of pillows as he seemed to have kicked back and tried to relax. Another trailing whisper of his faint giggle escaped his lips while his eyes wrinkled up and a wide grin plastered his mouth.
A feeling of anger washed over me as i hurled my pillow directly into Malfoy’s direction, a look of frustration smothering my face as his grin drooped. “Are you taking the mickey Malfoy?” I spat as a tear drop slides down my cheek. Springing from the mattress of his bed almost instantly, he made his way around to me, clasping his hands around my body as he pulled me into his chest. “Y/n you know I was only kidding right? I didn’t mean any of that stuff that I said,” he explained, his words becoming muffled as he planted soft kisses onto the top of my head.
Grabbing at my hands, he pulled me down, making me sit on the soft sheets of his bed as his finger lifted my chin up so that I could look straight into his apologetic eyes. “Neither did I ever think that all of my emotions would be because of you.. and no.. your the only girl in Hogwarts who has both the beauty and the brains. I don’t think I’d ever seen a future with someone other than you,” he confessed as he wiped at my tears, a small smile tugging at my lips.
“Your such a baby,” he mumbled, his mouth breaking out into a smile as I narrowed my eyes. “In what way do you mean that?” I asked eagerly, a grin showing up at the surface of my mouth as his gaze fixated on my iridescent features. Ever so sneakily, my fingers slithered towards the pillow that I previously threw at him, fingertips barely away from it. Fisting at the pillow, I brought it up between the two of us as I playfully smacked him across the head.
“Aw! What was that for?” He mentioned as he pouted like a lost puppy. “Payback,” I giggled as one of his brows lifted and his head cocked to the side. “Oh your on!”

Pillow fights normally end up with a shit ton of pearly, white feathers flying across the room while the bed was was rearranged in a messy manner, bed sheets hanging onto the mattress for dear life as we fell back onto the bed, our heads softly hitting the material while laughters of pure bliss escaped our throats, our hands intertwining as we looked at the ceiling above, panting breathlessly as we laid against one another just like two peas in a pod. “You know I’ve never thought of leaving you,” he whispered when his breathing returned back to normal. “Not even sometimes,”
You’re Trouble
Based on this request: would you write a fic where reader is a known troublemaker and since draco is a prefect he gives her detention or random punishments all the time. she keeps pranking him and he keeps assigning punishments adding fuel to the fire but eventually they realize they’re just making excuses to keep seeing each other ? <3
Here you are! I do not own ANY HP characters. They belong to Rowling.
Warnings: A little angst, Draco being Draco, Fluff.
Pairings: Draco Malfoy x fem!reader
You were a known troublemaker. You always had been. It was part of the fun in life for you. Plus, now that you were older, it gave you an excuse to spend a little time with your favorite prefect. Draco Malfoy. It was simply fun to rile him up a little. When you did, he typically gave you detentions or assigned some random task for you to do. Since he never took House points, no one ever said anything about it so you simply kept on never realizing the real reason behind your mischief.
“Again, Y/L/N?” Draco asked and you could hear the exasperation in his voice. You merely shrugged and grinned. “Aren’t we getting a bit old for childish games? Detention,” he stated before walking away. You had to admit that hurt. Normally, he would at least sit and talk with you for a while, even if it was a lecture of some sort.
That was the first time that had happened, but it wouldn’t be the last. You did your best to get his attention with more and more elaborate pranks. Instead of the banter you’d gotten used to, Draco simply gave you detention again. You were getting fed up with the change in his attitude. So, you decided to keep ramping it up until the day Draco finally snapped.
“That’s enough Y/L/N! I don’t know why I even bother with you. You aren’t worth the trouble. Detention. For a month. And twenty points from (Y/H).” Without giving you a chance to retort, Draco walked away, his school robes billowing out behind him due to his speed. You felt your bottom lip begin to quiver. You knew Draco had a quick temper and didn’t always think before he spoke, but that was harsher than anything you’d ever heard from him. It hurt. Instead of following after him the way you usually would, you made your way to your dorm.
Draco’s POV
Draco laid on his bed staring above him. He couldn’t believe he’d yelled at you. Yes, your pranks irritated him, but he knew that wasn’t the reason he’d lost his cool. For the last few months, Draco had been slowly coming to realize that he had feelings for you. He loved interacting with you. He enjoyed your playful arguments and giving you detention as an excuse to pop in and check on you so he could talk to you. It was odd, he knew, but it was literally the only way he’d been able to spend time with you.
For several days, Draco avoided you except to make sure you made it to detention. The first time, you looked at him with such a look of betrayal that he couldn’t hold your gaze. After that, you wouldn’t even spare him a glance. By the time your month of detention was up, you’d not spoken a single word to him. Draco hated to admit it, but he didn’t like that. Not one bit. He also didn’t like that other people, particularly Blaise, were starting to notice his change in mood.
“You know, I heard from one of her friends that she’s been a mess. Crying every time she sees you. Not to mention, she hasn’t pulled a prank on anybody since you yelled at her.” Draco did his best not to flinch at Blaise’s accusation. Of course Blaise had heard about what had happened. But surely he also knew that Draco hadn’t meant it?! He hadn’t realized his words had hurt you that badly.
Blaise gave his friend a knowing smirk. “You know, she sees right through your act. Go talk to her. She’s probably down by the Black Lake. From what I hear, she spends a lot of time down there.” For once, Draco was thankful his friend was so popular. Blaise knew the comings and goings of just about everybody. Draco didn’t even thank him as he bolted from the room to find you.
Just as Blaise had suspected, you were down by the Black Lake. In fact, you were actually standing in it, the water slapping gently against you as you leaned down presumably hunting for something. Your shoes and long socks were neatly placed on the shore, though not far enough that they weren’t getting wet. “The point of removing your shoes is to make sure they don’t get wet. You know that, don’t you?” Draco asked, causing you to spin around and drop whatever had been in your hand.
You glared at him. “Yeah well, Professor Snape asked for an assistant to help gather some Gillyweed. I figured I’d do it so maybe my next detention with him will be a bit more pleasant. What are you doing here?” Draco let out a sigh and told you he wanted to talk. You laughed humorlessly. “I’m not sure I want to speak to you, Malfoy. Last time wasn’t exactly cordial.” Draco winced a little, grateful you weren’t looking at him any longer. When he didn’t respond, you scoffed a little.
“Get in here.” Draco blinked in surprise. “What?” You stood up, faced him with your hands on your hips, and repeated yourself. “If you want to talk, you need to help me. So, get in here.” Draco stared at you before placing his bag down (out of the path of the water) and removing his shoes. You went back to what you were doing while you waited for Draco to join you.
As soon as Draco was in the water, he felt himself relax a little. He could see why you would come here to feel better. For a few minutes, the two of you worked in silence, the only sounds being the water lapping around you and the voices of students drifting toward you. When the silence finally became too much for Draco, he stated, “I shouldn’t have said what I did.”
“No, you shouldn’t,” you instantly replied before continuing on, “But I forgive you.” Draco’s head whipped in your direction in shock. “Just this once. But if you ever say something like that again, I’ll plant Boggarts everywhere and you’ll never know when to expect them.” Draco’s eyes widened. Seeing his worst fear every single day when he least expected it? No way was he going to upset you again.
“Out of curiosity, why did you yell at me like that? You’ve never done that before.” Draco felt his face heat up and was certain it was red all the way to the tips of his ears. “I…look, I’m not good with this kind of thing, alright? Father always says this sort of thing isn’t meant for Malfoys. Even he and Mother didn’t love one another when they married. It was arranged. I don’t know how to handle whatever it is I feel.” Draco continued to ramble for a moment while you gaped at him, opening and closing your mouth like a fish.
“Wait!” you cried a minute later and Draco stopped so you could speak, “Are you saying that you…like me? As in, more than a friend?” Draco laughed at your expression. “Is that so hard to believe?” You rolled your eyes. “Please. I happen to know that I’m quite the catch. I just didn’t think you had enough good taste to see it.” The teasing tone in your voice made Draco smile.
“Now, help me with this and I’ll let you take me on a proper date once we’ve cleaned up a bit,” you told him with a smirk on your face. Draco smirked as well before leaning in to kiss your cheek. You turned your face to say or do something only to be interrupted by a stern voice.
“MR. MALFOY! MISS Y/L/N!” You both turned to see Professor McGonagall standing there, staring at you over the rim of her glasses. “I expect you to set a better example for the younger students, especially a school prefect. Don’t let me see such a display again.” She walked off without another word. For a second, neither you reacted. Then you smiled at Draco and said, “Quite the troublemaker, aren’t you, Mr. Malfoy?” Draco let out a chuckle as he bent down, pretending to search for more Gillyweed. As you leaned to join him, he sent a wave of water splashing in your face. “Oh, you’ll pay for that, Draco!” You splashed him back, starting a water fight that landed you both in detention.

pairings.mattheo riddle x fem!reader
about.mattheo can’t help but want his best mates girl and couldn’t be more thrilled when he finds out the attraction goes both ways
warnings.foul language, smut; degradation, creampie, cheating
ricky rocks.
the one thing mattheo couldn’t have in his life, he never thought it’d be a girl.
girls came easy, but they were never anything that came to mind too much; he had other things to worry about, things to do.
but he’d never thought that that girl, the girl he wanted, would be one of his best friends girl.
none of his friends were ever loyal, none of them except theo. he was a sucker for those long term relationships because the type of girls who were only looking for one night stands and hook ups made him annoyed and had more issues than he could deal with, it was too bad he got stuck with one exactly like that.
you loved theo, more than anyone, but old habits died hard. especially with all of theo’s friends breathing down your neck, begging for a taste.
but you never gave in, not until mattheo.
when you first met him, he didn’t say a word to you. you weren’t even aware of him half the time, his presence was forgettable till your eyes always seemed to find his and his body always seemed to be pressed up against yours in your dreams.
it soon became very obvious who you wanted and he knew it when he was no longer the one initiating the starring—giving him the go ahead to push your buttons.
“i’ll fuck you straight.”
“yeah, you wish riddle,” you starred back at him with a challenging look, “good luck on getting the chance.”
he scoffed, “you act like you’re so loyal.”
you immediately frowned in annoyance, “and you act like you’re all that.”
he smiled, leaning over to your level, “because i am.”
you rolled your eyes, looking him up and down with what looked like disgust, “hop off your throne, riddle. i love my boyfriend.”
“it sure doesn’t seem like it when you’re looking at me,” he tipped his head slightly, a fake expression of thought coming over his face, “you better work on that, y/n, otherwise i’m not going to be the only one who notices.”
he walked away, but some part of you wished he hadn’t and that the looks you two shared, would be caught on to, so you could just get it over with and finally get to fuck him.
that came sooner rather than later—but not how you thought. the opportunity was practically handed to the two of you when half the boys were out for gallivanting down in the forbidden forest and theo had told you to wait for him in the common room.
it was too bad he was running late.
“why don’t you sit down?” mattheo’s stare was narrowing and studying as he motioned you to sit in the big black leather chair across from him. “you’ve got a while longer to wait.”
you scoffed, “alright, but i’m sure theo-“
“who cares about theodore, he’s probably fucking around with a blonde from ravenclaw, anyway.”
the sentence caught you off guard and made you slightly pause as you sat down. you sure he was just messing with you, but with the right motivation and pressure, theo could get convinced into anything—maybe even fucking around with a blonde ravenclaw.
“he wouldn’t do that.”
“right, because you’re the cheater in the relationship.”
you scowled at him, but your cheeks turned red at the truth of his words. he knew you well for some reason. he knew you weren’t honest—never in any relationship had you ever been in—and he knew you were also easily pressured into things.
“why don’t you show me something,” he nodded toward you, “don’t try to hide your true colors now that we’re alone.”
“piss off.”
“now don’t he so harsh.”
you rolled your eyes, thinking, thinking how wrong this was but still stood up from your seat across from him, and you still slowly glided toward him while your fingers grasped the top buttons of your pure white blouse, “don’t tell.”
“no promises,” he grinned, sipping from the bottle as you were now in front of him, slowly leaning before him still teasing the unbuttoning of your shirt.
“mattheo,” you whined, but still continuing with your actions, giving him a peak of your black laced bra. “you’re not being nice.”
he pulled you to his lap roughly, causing you to gasp as you were now straddling him, “why would i?” his fingers reached where yours were, helping you unbutton the material of your shirt, “you’re so damn teasing all the time.”
you rocked your hips forward, pouting at his words, “shame.” mattheo breath became uneven for the slightest second, his eyes dragging up to yours at the feeling of your heat pressing onto his cock.
“you’re fucking, cunt,” he scoffed, shaking his head with a slight smirk on his face. “don’t act like you don’t want this as much as i do.”
“sure, mattheo,” you tauntingly smiled, rocking back and forth again before pressing your lips against his. he immediately kissed back, his hands slowly pulling the blouse from your arms.
he smelled good and he felt good—you felt you could barely get enough despite how close he was with his arms wrapped around you now, pulling you closer and closer till his chest was pressed against yours.
he was making you desperate, real desperate with his taunting that you could barely keep up the returning taunting facade.
“let me cum in your mouth, yeah?” he pulled away and was already unbuckling his belt from beneath you, cuing you to get off the chair and to your hands and knees as he stood, “be a good girl, suck me off, y/n.”
you nodded slowly, deciding whether if this was really okay… but you suddenly didn’t care, especially when your mouth started watering the moment his cock sprung from his boxers, thick and waiting for you.
“ready, love,” he didn’t wait for your words and he barely waited for you; his hips meeting your mouth, eager, “fuck,” you eased your mouth down his length, eyes already watering even before the tip of his cock touched the back of your throat.
“such a fucking good girl,” he grunted, his hand twirling a make shift pony tail of your hair while his head tipped back, his mind filling of bliss with each suck you took. “you love my cock, don’t you?”
he thrusted into your mouth, face fucking you, helping you induce pleasure as you tried to keep up by running and swirling your tongue along his length.
you couldn’t even think to answer, or hum, or anything. you were enjoying too much and couldn’t help let your mind travel already to fast to the thought of him fucking you.
you could tell he wanted to just by how much enjoyment he was getting from this.
and he pulled out abruptly, leaving spit and precum running down your chin with teary eyes, “let me cum inside you, show theo who really owns your body.”
you let him lay you down against the cold floor, his body hovering over yours as he undone his dress shirt before pulling it off fast with eager fingers, that watched you with dark eyes.
you watched anxiously, your eyes eating every inch of his body and the scars that decorated his tan skin. your chest heaved up and down, your heart pounding, underestimating what he might do with the stare he had.
he gripped his cock, stroking it roughly before laying on your body fully, hiking up your skirt and pushing your parties to the side. he kissed you softly before pushing into you, prompting a sharp whine to resonate from your lips, “take it.”
your hands gripped his shoulders as he slowly inch into you before harshly shoving his full length into your cunt, immediately catching into your sweet spot. a high moan released into the air as your stomach rumbled with pleasure and pain to your walls from just barely getting used to the thickness of his cock.
“fucking whore,” he continued to fuck into you as his mouth began to speak nasty words that made your stomach twist in pleasure, whimpering as he spoke. “you love your boyfriend’s best mate using you like a doll?”
you gasped as his hand caught your face, gripping it harshly, “of course you do,” he smiled devilishly before, slapping the side of your hip, “get on your knees.”
you whimpered as you did so, his hands immediately gripping your hips and continuing to fuck you stupid the moment he pushed into you again. his finger tips pained you as he pressed hard enough to leave bruises.
“i want him to know who fucked you this good,” his hand grasped your throat, pulling you closer to his body as his mouth hovered over your ear before sucking and biting on your neck. “i want him to see what a dirty little whore you are, taking me without denial.”
“mattheo, please,” you whined, grabbing his hand that lied on your hip, “please don’t.”
“don’t what, huh?”
“please don’t leave marks.”
you could feel his cock twitch to the whine of your voice, a grunt resonating from his mouth. he didn’t say a word to reply but began to savor the few minutes left of his high, roughly pumping in and out of you as you moaned—soon coming upon your own.
“who fucks you better, huh?” he leaned back near your face, “me or him, tell me?“
“you mattheo,” you stuttered, feeling your vision go blurry and your limbs grow numb the moment his high came undone and pushed cum deep into your cunt, leaving you marked.
“that’s what i thought.”

about.draco riles theo up about you, again.
warnings.smut, he’s a little mean bruh, foul language, corny?
ricky rocks. theosmut whoop whoop. you guys voted—mattheo next.
“hurry up.”
“i’m trying my best,” you grumbled, struggling to wring your tights down to your ankles as theo unbuckled his belt fast and without a problem due to this being nothing new to him.
it had to of been fourth hour and theo was struck in his sour mood that only you could cure. but you could tell he was a lot more aggravated than usual by the way he had gripped your arm so tightly when pulling you toward one of the washrooms. you were guessing it was from draco. that’s always what it ever was and probably always would be and you didn’t blame him.
draco could be an absolute asshole when it came to you. always saying nasty things that insinuated his attraction towards you, things that he knew got into theo’s head no matter any amount of reassurance.
just your body against his.
“you want me to fuck you or not?”
“shut up. you try and take these tights off,” you snide, still struggling to pull down the material with the small area of containment of the stall you both stood in.
“i’ll rip ‘em if i have to.”
you scowled finally pulling them from your legs but still allowed his hot hands to sneak underneath your skirt where he pulled your lacy panties down to your ankles with a kneel, then pulling it from your foot before balling the pink fabric into his pocket.
you couldn’t help but whimper from the position you were in. he was kneeled at your feet with hooded eyes, holding your hips now as you tipped your head back now against the wall already deep in a haze of lust.
“and i’m the one who wanted you,” he shook his head but with a smirk thinking to how persistent you were about not skipping class. “i always forget about how needy you can get.” he was now back to his feet, looking down at you like you are a little helpless puppy.
“justplease fuck me, theodore,” you tilted your head to the side with a frown, gripping both sides of his dress coat, pulling him closer but he shrugged it off quickly not being able to wait after the sweet whiny sound of your voice.
“only ‘cause you asked nice,” he smirked, licking his index and middle finger before swiftly curling his fingers back under your skirt and into your cunt where you groaned at the warm and raptured feeling. “what a good girl.” his voice is warm and there’s a hint of taunt in his voice, but it’s still praiseful and doesn’t fail to make your stomach clench in euphoria as he pumps his fingers in and out of you, making sure you were wet.
theo pulled back, finally undoing his belt swiftly. he’s then quick to thrust into you prompting a moan from your mouth as your head tipped backed against the wall. theo had inhaled sharply, allowing his cock to adjust to the tightness of your cunt—something he never quite got used to. he swore under his breath as he pressed further into you, allowing warmth and easy pleasure to consume him whole.
“pretty girl,” he tsked, pulling out slowly before rushing back in even harder than before. “only like this for me and my cock, aren’t you?”
“yes, theo,” your voice was barely above a whisper as your vision was going spotty from his cock stretching out your walls with the rough thrusts he was pumping into you.
“good,” he mumbled breathlessly, “i love seeing you soweak.”
he grabbed both your thighs, prompting you to jump and once you did, he had your back against the wall, now having a consistent pace that made you a complete mess than before.
“i love being the only one who can see you like this,” his forehead presses against your own, teasing his lips on yours, “tears in your eyes—fucking malfoy could never, could he? you’re mine.”
“yes, theo,” you whined as his hand suddenly clasped around your throat squeezing lightly while his eyes looked down to watch his thick cock pump in and out of your cunt with wet noises, “i’m all for you.”
“you have such a pretty mouth,” his thumb dipped to pull on your bottom lip before pressing it on your tongue. “think of what good you could do with it instead of feeding into draco’s nonsense.”
“i never,” you whined, rolling your head.
“liar,” he seems to drop you fast to your feet, almost making you fall to your knees from how weak of a feeling that was oozing through them, making you feel like jello as you wobbled before he flipped you around fast so you were pressed the wall tightly. “i see you tease him for something he can’t have. always provoking him.”
“but you like that, don’t you theo?” you inhaled sharply as he shoved into you once more, “you love it that draco finally can’t have something.”
he grunted in response, nothing to say but to melt back into your body with rough strokes, his hand wrapping around your waist. he was getting more aggressive now, his pumps becoming slams, “fucking cunt, i own you, you’re mine. i want you to stay away from draco.”
“y-yes theo,” you groaned, the feeling of his cock twitching inside of you causing your own high to draw near and move down. “i’m only yours.”

part one of n/a.
about. in which a group of boys are in search for the one thing that keeps them from their death.
warnings.swearing, dark themes
ricky rocks. idk if you guys are going to dig this i hate it already
it happens at night.
minds are run through, memories are stolen, a version of brutality is placed upon a large amount of boys that come in the forms of bruises, cuts, gashes—that heal but never disappear from the back of their minds. they can never touch the thought—fully grasp what it is or why this has happened to them or even who, but it’s there and it hovers in high heights that they can’t reach.
all survival, that’s what they all think, the persecutors, the boys. and it is; for their survival.
especially theodore.
days got short and he barely felt the effect of professor snapes lessons now. he dreaded the night, but it seemed to come faster than anything else, but couldn’t move fast enough when it finally arrived.
the gift—the thing they were looking for, the thing that was key to all their survival—was the only thing he thought about now and he didn’t even know what it was.
the beginning of year six started not how expected, he was sure none of his friends expected to be initiated into a group that carried out the orders of the dark lord.
it made sense though. the moment mattheo riddle walked into his life, he knew it wasn’t just another friend, he’d be a fool to think that.
they were bound for life.
°•
potions with slughorn was always something theodore never looked forward to, ever. he felt like an asshole every time he sat in his seat and connected eyes with the man. it was like he knew; everything and it always threw theodore off, making him anxious.
and it didn’t help that he was late.
“awh, mr. nott,” he had his body tilted back as he seemed to be sizing up theodore from where he stood—almost deciding if he were friend or foe. “have a seat where you can.”
theodore looked to where all the students sat, looking back at him. it seemed they had all pulled their chairs to the center of the room instead behind desks where things usually were. it made him curse as their were no free seats in the back but rather in the near front.
“go on, no time to waste here.”
he shuffled through the rows before slowly sitting into the only empty seat next to you. neither of you thought much about it, he didn’t even see you.
“some of you have no sense of time,” slughorn scoffs, back to shifting across the floor in front of you all. “swear if the ministry knew what was best, they’d have nation wide curses put on our children to make them at least on time.”
“long live the rebellion, right?” you rolled your eyes in a frivolous way, shrugging, not watching your words carefully. “i swear we fight for something of rights and then someone goes and says something dumb like that.”
he doesn’t realize you’re even speaking to him. not until you finally really looked to him where he immediately looked slightly confused—not processing your words or not exactly understanding the meaning you were trying to put out. lost in translation, very lost in translation.
he thought you must have thought he was someone else but by the way you stared so surely at him and then reached your hand out, offering a soft smile but with an arched brow that also threw him off, introducing—
“y/n.”
he took it, after a long moment, “theodore.”
“i’ve seen you before,” you look him up, your eyes curving around the family ring he wore around his pinky and the scars the littered his fingers, “you’re a nott.”
“you get that from slughorn?” his brow arched and his eyes turned harsh of what looked like annoyance.
“no, you just look an awful lot like your father.”
his chest tightened. not only did he hate that supposed compliment more than anything, but he also found it strange. how would you know his father?
“and you?” his features twisted in suspicion, not knowing you, not even really recognizing you in the slightest like you did of him.
“y/l/n,” you speak, and the both of you finally release hands from the firm grasp, removing him from a trance and back to reality—a smack in the face. the name, he knew, he knew the fucking name and suddenly it made a lot of sense.
“i’m not sure i’m as familiar of you,” he lied, pulling his best face now that he was finally back into the game, but the skeptical look you gave him made him think his facade wasn’t working. “but i’m curious.”
“of what?”
“you.”
“why?”
“why wouldn’t i be?”
you didn’t say anything but your face screwed up instead playfully, adjusting yourself so you were facing slughorn once again, “maybe you should be more curious on slughorn’s lesson.”
°•
exhilarated.
theodore hadn’t felt like that ever and he never thought he would, but walking down the corridor to the slytherin common room, theodore felt exhilarated.
the common room was dim and filled with low chatter but was interrupted the minute he walked in with the aggressive buzz radiating off his body.
they all noticed it before he spoke, before they could even get a real good look at him.
“it’s not a man, and it’s not a younger year like we suspected,” he looked urgent, it caught all of them off guard—never having seen theodore so anxious and full of energy. “it was right under our fuckingnoses.”
mattheo raises his eyes now, looking at theodore like he was a prick, but it only urged him to keep speaking as he sat down before throwing a scrappy looking book on the coffee table where dust spilled into the air making all the boys wince with a cough.
“it’s a girl and she’s in our very own house.”
now they’re all looking at him like he’s prick, shaking their heads and frowning while theodore stared back, not fazed but itching to move. it was so hard to hold it in, he just had to say it all because he felt like a genius for the first time in months and that they’d finally came to a break through.
“the prophecy said-“
“the prophecy was wrong,” theodore looks between all the boys with his arm extended across the table, making sure his assertiveness reached each and every one of their eyes. “i don’t give a fuck what the prophecy said because it was wrong.”
he looks up to mattheo who stares back, his expression blank but holding a questioning look that’d make anyone back down, “it’s a y/l/n,” he knew mattheo would know the name just like he knew it. “she comes down from a death eater traitor of a grandfather and she’s nothing short of the old man because she spoke of a rebellion.”
it’s silent as they look between theodore and mattheo; who thinks and hates how he feels as if he’s being challenged right then.
“and what makes you think it’s her.”
“because we have no one else on the list,” his tone is nasty, “if it’s not her, fine, cross her off but she has to know something.”
he feels it in his bones that he is right.
“talk to your father, if anything it’ll give us time.”
talk to you father. mattheo rolls his eyes and he leans forward, now challenging the hard tone theodore held with a simple stare, “tell me about her.”
°•
“i didn’t think i’d see you,” theodore froze from right behind where you sat, studying a book from the looks of it, but he guessed you weren’t but rather him since he had entered the library over twenty minutes ago before finally coming up to you. “not for awhile, anyways.”
he took a seat next to you, leaning on his elbows while watching you straighten your posture and close the potions book you had been reading for the past hour, “you watching me, nott?”
“you know my father?” he brushes off your question, giving you a calm stare that made your chest tighten.
you didn’t know how to answer. i mean, it’s a simple answer, ‘yes’, and it’s a simple explanation, you just didn’t want to speak under his stare.
luckily, he didn’t care much for your answer in the first place.
“how come i’ve never seen you before,” he leans his head against his propping hand. he looks and seems bored but you can tell that he’s far from it. “you think i would have seen you at least once in the common room.”
“maybe you’re just not very observant, theo.”
god, the way you said his name.
no one called him theo. not for in a long time.
“i highly doubt that,” he narrows his brows but his lips twitch, taking your words lightly.
“you think highly of yourself, don’t you?”
not lately.
but he doesn’t say that, he doesn’t say anything.
“maybe you didn’t see me because i didn’t want to be seen.”
his lips curve, “i doubt that.”
you watch him. you watch his face carefully, surveying his face and in the way it seemed so completely run down even with that smile, “you should sleep more,” your thumb lightly dabs against his cheek, as if touching him reassuringly—no matter how quick the touch was and no matter the fact that you got up from your seat and left him—it was reassuring.
°•
“she’s pretty.”
“yeah, because that’s going to be valuable information mattheo will want to hear,” blaze rolled his eyes, continuing to read through the paper as lorenzo examined you from two tables away in the three broomsticks.
“you never know,” he shrugs, turning from his altered position that was made just to stare. “you can never tell with him.”
“which is exactly why we have to stay focus.”
ever since theo had made the proposition that the gift was held within you, mattheo had made it clear that everyone had to do everything they could to figure you out—which was kind of hard when theo was the only one who could talk to you without it being weird.
so at that moment, everyone else was staking it out.
“you think it’s her?”
blaise doesn’t answer for awhile and enzo thinks he doesn’t hear him at first until blaise lifts his head, sighing, and putting the paper down, “i hope so—for us and theodore’s sake.”
because if theodore was wrong, it’d be the end for him.
°•
“curiosity kills, you know that, right?”
“and i should be afraid?”
“maybe,” you shrugged, now leaning against one of the large rooted trees that bordered the forbidden forest, staring to theo who kept a good distance with his hands shoved in his dress pants pockets. “especially if you find out things you don’t exactly intend to find out.”
you simply shrug again, but he can tell there’s more meaning behind your words than you act. a ghost of a smirk curves on his lips as he tips back on his feet, watching you.
you look so innocent and small planted against the tree and it makes his stomach bubble up, “really?”
you hum, “but i have a feeling you don’t care.”
“why would i?” he strolls toward you now, his curiosity placed in the core of his eye, it makes you bite back a smile.
he now stood close enough with the points of his shoes almost stepping over yours, teasing a step closer, teasing his body to be put against yours.
“answer the question.”
“i don’t think i need to.”
he laughs sarcastically, his head thrown to look at his feet as he lightly kicks at the dirt before looking back up at you. he was nervous, you couldn’t tell, but theo felt it in his heart that this whole thing could go wrong if you were speaking on what he thought you were speaking on.
he prayed you just loved a good chase and were just fucking with his head.
“you’re a strange girl.”
“you’re the one who followed me out here,” you tipped back and forth on your feet, “i’d say you’re the strange one, theo.”
“maybe, i just wanted to see your pretty face.”
you scoffed, “liar.”
he raised a brow, “you’re so pretty, i wish i never said anything,” he examines your face closely, as if really looking at it this time; for a last time. his hand reaches out and is gentle and seems to be barely there as he runs it down the side of your face. “it’s a fucking shame.”
you couldn’t tell if he was sincere about whatever it was he was talking about—but it seemed so by how distraught his demeanor seemed to suddenly turn.
“what’d you say, theo,” you were calm, confused on what he was on about.
his eyes flick to yours, and he leans, meeting his lips with yours for a just a second, wanting to savor you for just a second before you’d be tainted, “you have a gift.”

- promised to someone, part one. theodore nott x reader
summary : in which reader and theodore nott are promised to a marriage at birth that neither were aware of
warning/s ⛓: swearing
slater’s note : forgot to write here.
promised at birth.
you had never thought of marriage like the normal teenage girl. you didn’t look forward to it, you practically dreaded the thought of spending the rest of your life with one person.
but you were still promised at birth to a boy you had never met till now.
“they tell me you’re a disciple of the dark lord.”
“aren’t we all?”
“not like you,” you said it so fast to the point that it sounded intentionally harmful and poisonous, but you didn’t know any better and were only projecting hate for your parents to the boy before you. “they say that the dark lord had made a pursuit just for you.”
he glanced down to his lap, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek as your words sunk in and reminded him of the past month of his life—the worst month of his life where he had been doing exactly that—a pursuit.
“he sees something in you,” you say after he says nothing, not looking at you but now sulking.
“it’s not as glorious as it seems.”
“i wouldn’t disagree…” you look at him a little better now, realizing a little better that he’s in the same boat just as you are. he has had no control in your life just as you. his parents have picked and chose for him just like yours. “you’re scared, then?”
“you’re not?”
your eyes crinkle in the corner as you weren’t expecting that question, “no.”
he doesn’t believe you.
“you realize what’s happening tonight, don’t you?” you don’t answer, staring at him with a frown the clues him that you didn’t understand his question, “they’re bounding us. they’re making you take the unbreakable spell to ensure you’ll stay by my side—we’re being bound for life.”
“i don’t believe you.”
he scoffed, shaking his head, “out of all things they told you, they didn’t care to mention that?” theo thinks of his father how he was sitting in the other probably getting his rocks off that his very own son was finally fulfilling his potential.
god, he thought, this will kill him.
he could barely stand his own thoughts recently, how could you? everything he thought about was in correlation to the dark lord and from what he learned about you—you had no relation to the dark lord or anything aside from your parents.
you were untouched, innocent, and therefore desirable and your parents were giving it up to theo as well as the dark lords hands—and you could do nothing.
“why would i lie to you?”
“you don’t know me. why would they..?”
the door opens, and one of your families servants pops his head through the crack of the door, “your parents would like to see you now.”
you look to theo who has tired eyes and a dead expression while he stares up to the man before looking to the window. he dreams of leaving, of going back to hogwarts but for his own will and wishes, not for some scheme. nothing was fun anymore. he hated being around his friends and he misses when times were better and the only thing he had to worry about was his grades and draco’s snarky attitude.
you looked back to the servant, nodding your head and dismissing him. his absence made you move forward on your knees, closer to him, whispering in fear that anyone but him would hear you, “what makes them so sure i won’t say a word?”
“because you’ll die if you don’t,” he got to his feet, “the concept of the unbreakable vow binds our souls together—everything i know, you know. everything that is in my head will now soon be in yours. you won’t think, feel, or breathe the same again.”
**
“join hands.”
you looked up to theo, almost questioning if this was right, but he didn’t show any emotion nor did he look at you. his hand arm raised for yours and you hesitantly took it, gripping his forearm like you did his.
“good,” theo’s father nodded, now raising his wand and touching your joined arms, a look of electricity wounding its way slowly up both your arms.
you stared at it, slightly out of breath from the reality of it all being true.
“now,” theo’s father nodded to you, “do you promise to keep theodore’s secrets as your own, to not shed light to them, even to the closest of friends or trusted family?”
you looked up and between your parents before to theo who still stared at the wire of light swooning around both your left arms, “i do.”
“do you promise to be honest with theodore when a threat is passed your way involving him and or the order?”
“i do.”
“do you promise to accept theodore and all he has done. to offer him faith, and trust, and patience?”
his eyes connect with yours fast, almost wanting yo let go of your hand as if this promise was finally crossing lines above the others. your eyes lingered with his for a bit, narrowing but you still mumbled, “yes.”
“do you promise to take responsibility-“
“no,” his voice interrupted his own fathers fast, an immediate regret filing in on his face, “she is not responsible for the things i have done-“
“theodore, mind yourself,” you close your eyes at the sharp tone of the man, your chest tightening and squeezing your heart in despair. “do you promise, miss y/l/n, to take responsibility for his actions as he does—like your own?”
“i do.”
he looks up at you fast, almost looking betrayed.
“that concludes it,” the man nodded, no emotion on his face, “we’ll talk about the marriage later.”
“you have to be mindless.”
the moment your living room was cleared he didn’t hesitate to raise his voice. it made you frown, confused to his reaction.
“this is what you wanted?”
“never.”
“what could i have done? you said it yourself, i’d be dead-“
“there still would have been time to get you out of this, you weren’t trapped yet,” you were confused to his frustration and why he suddenly cared so much as he was confused to the way you had so easily accepted this. he couldn’t even begin to process how you even accepted this to be your fate with a stranger. there was time for you, you could have wiggled your way out of it.
“now we’re bound for life.”

Summary: Halloween with Draco <3 Friends into BOO’s (teehee)
Warnings: mild drinking nothing tooo crazy but not encouraging it !
Words: 5.2K
A/N: this is my first one shot in like a month and i ofc had to do something for halloween even tho im a tad late but its still a halloweekend KIND OF !!!!!!! </3 I HOPE ITS GOOOD
“No, it’s a stupid holiday.”
Draco crossed his arms in a stubborn child-like way, a scowl on his face as he stared forward towards the front of the class where Snape was giving a lecture on the small but vicious Erkling creatures.
“Come on, please,” you pleaded quietly. Your gaze kept flickering between your easily-irked professor and the pouting blond beside you, hoping that in a few short seconds you would get the answer you were hoping for that way you could get back into your notes instead of possibly getting a detention or losing house points.
In all the years you’ve been friends with the Prince of Slytherin, you learned that he loathed the holiday and any festivities that came with it. Every year, you beg him to go out to one of the many parties that are thrown ranging from small gatherings to full-on blowouts or just do something halloween related with you, but he always refuses. His reasoning, as he put it, was that he was simply ‘too mature to be dressing up as a foul creature.’
You knew he mostly spent the holiday either asleep in his dorm or walking around aimlessly with Crabbe and Goyle to target unsuspecting first-years after the big feast but this year, you finally had enough of his anti-halloween agenda. You wanted to spend the evening and hopefully night with him laughing by your side and showing him how fun everything could be, but most of all - you wanted to see him in a costume.
“Please, if you go I will never ask you for anything ever again,” you tried again once Snape had turned his back to the class.
Draco pursed his lips as though he was genuinely considering it, his eyes still locked on the back of the greasy-haired professor before he turned slightly to you with a deep sigh. “Fine, but don’t expect this to be an annual thing.”
You gave him a bright smile, holding yourself back from jumping around in your seat and completely pushing aside the desire to throw your arms around him in excitement.
“I promise you’ll have fun.”
He hid the small smile that grew on his face from seeing how happy his answer made you, turning his head down towards his parchment filled with notes that all of a sudden seemed interesting as he avoided your gaze. He wouldn’t admit it, but he was the smallest bit of excited at the thought of spending the holiday with you because he knew that wherever you went or whatever you did, he would be perfectly content with you by his side because for the first time in all your years as friends; he realized only a month ago that the weird fluttering feeling in the pit of his stomach when he was around you or the weird overwhelming warmth that spread throughout his entire body like an ocean of water breaking through a dam - was a crush. He hated it at first, noticing and begrudgingly acknowledging it. He thought it was cliche that he somehow fell for one of his closest friends and mostly, he thought that he was going to ruin the friendship entirely. He wanted to wreck it himself, trying to distance himself from you and being extra mean - but he couldn’t.
He adored your company too much and everything that came with you. He adores your laugh, your smile, your hugs when you greet him and how you somehow give him one each time he needs it the most. He adores the study-buddy system you guys have almost every other week before a quiz or an exam. He adores your bad jokes and clumsy accidents even though those qualities annoy him with anyone else. He adores the way you want him to join you in everything fun you and he especially adores the times when he overhears you talking about him as if he’s your favorite person in the world.
Bottom line, he’s all about you.
So when this season of spookiness came, he was expecting your pleading for him to spend the day with you. Only this time, it only took you a couple times before he ultimately agreed to give in to you.
You were ready to explode with thrill at the thought of what the night held in store for you and you didn’t hide it one bit. When the big Hogwarts Hallowe’en feast was over and every one began spilling out from the Great Hall and into the main foyer, you were searching restlessly for a clean mop of silver hair that almost always stuck out in the mass of students. You weren’t sure if you were able to spot him anywhere in under a few seconds because he was unimaginably important to you, or because his hair was so uniquely bright, or maybe it was how boisterous and loud Crabbe and Goyle always were when they were by him, especially if he was with other Slytherins - but you found him, every single time with ease.
After standing on your tippy-toes several times to overlook the stampede of everyone, you finally spotted Draco leaning across a pillar with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face while he stood in a circle of his House friends that included his two goons and his quidditch teammates. You watched him thoughtfully as you approached, taking slow steps towards the group to admire him from afar and also because they were all slightly intimidating. He looked lost in the conversation, laughs escaping from his upturned lips as he listened to whatever was being said, large pale hands running through his hair every so often when the front pieces of his hair would flop down to his forehead.
He looked ridiculously good and effortlessly at that.
You weren’t sure if you should interrupt, hesitating a few feet away from them to where they couldn’t sense your presence but you were close enough to see and hear them clearly.
“We’ll see you later tonight then, Malfoy?” One of the boys nodded towards Draco.
“I’ll show up for a bit, I suppose,” he shrugs.
You see him look around the circle of boys, eyes landing on you momentarily and then back to his friends before doing a double-take towards you again in surprise. You tried to ignore the butterflies erupting in your stomach when his smile widens slightly into a short-lived toothy grin while he said a quick goodbye to his friends causing them all to disband and him to start approaching you.
“Are you ready for the halloween of a lifetime?” You ask as he neared.
He rolled his eyes, laughing faintly. “Where am I meeting you, darling?”
The nick name he used so rarely for you made your knees feel weak, a warm blush rushing up your neck and inching onto your cheeks that you knew was going to be very apparent on your face in a few seconds.
“I’ll meet you right here in an hour,” you say quickly.
You didn’t give him time to answer before you turned quickly in the direction of your common room and began rushing away before he could see the effect he had on you that was so clearly appearing on your face.
You didn’t know what the night held for you and Draco or where it would lead you. Unknowing to you, you were both hoping something more could come out of the evening between the two of you. But he wasn’t one to express himself in that department of feelings and you weren’t feeling bold enough to say anything about yours. It was a gray area of hoping that fate could somehow intervene and throw the two of you into what you both wanted without either of you really saying anything - but it was impossible. There was no outcome or situation you had in mind that could lead you into that, so you were stuck desperately hoping that one day things might end up differently.
It was beginning to feel ironic how in your world full of real tangible magic, there wasn’t a magical solution to your problem. You were trapped feeling like a muggle who had to figure things out by themselves, no magic included. The thought of giving him a love potion did cross your mind as a joke, but it wasn’t a genuine or fair option but little did you know, you don’t need a potion for him to feel the same way - because he already did.
Walking into your dorm felt like an exuberant disaster of everyone running around and sitting in front of mirrors with their makeup or dressing into their costumes. It was noisy and filled with chatter and you were in shock from how much clutter everyone was able to make in such a short period of time from when the feast ended to now. A simple spell would clean everything up so you and everybody else didn’t really pay it any mind.
You maneuvered around the mess of your housemates and towards your bed where your costume was kept in the trunk underneath it, plopping down onto the floor to pull it from the underskirt of your House colored bedding.
“Did he finally say yes?” Your closest roomie friend jumped onto your bed, propping herself up on her elbows and resting her chin on her hands as she watched you dig through your bottomless trunk.
“Surprisingly, yes,” you answered, hiding the smile on your face.
She drawled out a teasing ‘ooh,’ poking your arm lightly with her index finger as you shied away and leaned deeper into your trunk. She was the only one who you willingly admitted your crush to as she was the only person you really trusted to not blather it off to someone.
“Will I be seeing you two in the Slytherin common room?” She wiggled her eyebrows. “The boys are throwing a party and I luckily got an invite, you know how they are. So picky with who shows up.”
“You mean they’re pretentious?” You laugh. “But I don’t know if we’ll be going to it. I know Draco obviously got invited but I was thinking we could do other things.”
“Like what?” She questions as if she knew it was going to be something dirty. “I know a few secret spots around the castle-”
“No, get your mind out of the gutter,” you smack her arm lightly. “I honestly have no clue what to do. I didn’t think he’d actually agree because he never does.”
She runs her hands over her face, stifling her laughs of disbelief before she sighed loudly. “I still suggest some broom closets, hidden out of sight.”
You sit up, pushing her from where she was lying while she laughed amusingly at your false horrified reaction that you put on to hide the fact from her that what she was suggestion really waswhat you wanted.
“I’ll leave you alone so you can get your costume on,” she smiles, jumping up from your bed and tossing one of your pillows at you as she walked away. You let out a huff, tossing it back onto your duvet before setting your costume down on the spot your friend was lying in.
You stared at it hesitantly, all of a sudden feeling nauseous at the thought of going out later with Draco as if it was some sort of date even though you knew it wasn’t. It was just two friends, hanging out, doing some spooky and fun Halloween activities together and nothing more; so why were you feeling so nervous? You weren’t sure if it was your instincts warning you of something major that was approaching or the fear that what you didn’t have planned was going to bite you in the arse when you continuously told Draco he was going to enjoy himself when you didn’t even know if that was going to be true. You didn’t want to disappoint him and mess it up for you in the future when the holiday came again and you didn’t want this to be the first and last time you experienced it with him.
The pressure was raining down on you like thick, hard pieces of hail with no end in sight.
As you were getting dressed and doing your makeup for your costume as you liked, (i’m trying to be vague for your own imagination teehee) all you could think about was what in the hell you were going to do once you met up with the Prince of Slytherin. Your train of thought was then derailed into wondering what he was going to be dressed up as or if he was going to be dressed up at all considering the way he is. He was the type to make fun of people who dressed up, that you knew when you ran into him last year as you were walking back to your common room with your friend, both of you in costume and victims of his gentle bullying. He obviously went easier on the two of you since you were there, telling you he was just messing around afterwards and saying he liked yours but once you were out of his sight but still in ear-shot, you heard him and his two minions berating a small group of people that unfortunately passed by them.
You gave yourself one last look in the floor mirror, letting out a long shaky exhale with your hands clasped together before you started towards the way out of your dorm, through the common room, and ultimately towards the foyer outside the Great Hall where Draco was most likely waiting for you. An hour had gone by since you last saw him, an hour of stress and panic that hadn’t slowed down or stopped.
Your shoes dragged against the stone floors, hugging yourself tightly as you walked nearer towards the spot where you were supposed to meet and as you lifted your gaze - you saw him there, staring right at you with a small grin and just like you expected, no costume.
“Nice costume,” he compliments when you reach him.
“Where’s yours?” You frown.
“I’m not dressing up. That’s embarrassing,” he shakes his head.
You scoff, crossing your arms. “You’re the only one not dressed up,that’sembarrassing.”
You don’t know why it was irritating to you that he wasn’t in costume, even if you knew he wasn’t. You figured it was because you were trying to overpower your nervousness with different more consuming feelings, and much to your and Draco’s dismay, it worked.
You weren’t nervous anymore, just irked.
“I’m staying like this, take it or leave it.”
You rolled your eyes, staring him down and hoping that he would change his mind but he wouldn’t. He was ridiculously stubborn.
In the heat of the moment of a fleeting thought, you decided that if he wasn’t going to be in costume, you would put him in one or at least a hint of one. You pulled your wand out, pointing it onto his striking white hair and with one easy spell, his hair was now a flaming vibrant red.
“Y/N!” He growled, running towards the closest thing that would show off his reflection where he let out a string of frantic curse words. “I look like a bloody Weasley.”
Your laughter caught him off guard, the sound ringing in his ears like music that spread warmth throughout him. You were clutching at your stomach with one hand and pointing at him with the other, giggling wildly at the sight of him with hair that did not suit him at all. He smiled to himself, your glee rubbing off on him abruptly that ate away quickly at his anger.
“You should’ve given me some ratty old hand-me-down robes and I’d look just like Ron,” he notes.
“That’s rude, Draco,” you say still laughing. He smirks, leaving the shiny statue of a knight in armor where he was checking his reflection and back over to you where you were still stuck in between doubling over in laughter and watching him.
“I’m glad this is funny to you,” he muses. He begins digging into the pocket of his dress pants, taking your vulnerability as a chance for him to tap his wand to the top of your head and before you could react, your whole hair had turned a deep green.
Your laughter immediately ended as you ran towards the suit of armor, your grimacing reflection staring back at you with deep Slytherin green hair and a distorted Draco behind you doubling over just like you were moments ago.
“This looks,” you couldn’t even finish your sentence, the scowl on your face saying enough for you as you turned bitterly towards Draco.
“Great?” He suggested, his guffawing subsiding into airy chuckles as you stood in front of him. Yours picked up again as you stared up at him, his striking bright red hair looking terribly unfamiliar on him. He was looking down at you, his heart jumping at the sight of you holding back your laughter. “You really do look dashing by the way.”
You swallowed thickly, thankful for the darkness that had settled around the castle and easily hid the scarlet brush appearing on your face. “But my hair is green.”
“Green is my favorite color.”
You opened your mouth to speak, your stomach and heart dropping simultaneously as your mind went completely blank. You pretended to not notice how he took a step closer to you to where he was almost fully against you and he pretended not to notice the way your lips were parted and how your chest was rising and falling a little too heavily as if you were nervous. It was game over for you when his gaze flickered down towards your lips and then back to your eyes, his head leaning down just the slightest like if he were waiting for you to meet him halfway. You were about to get closer to him, about to let your eyes close and give in to what you believed was him wanting to kiss you - but the world had other plans.
“Malfoy! There you are!” Someone boomed, clambering up the steps from the direction of the dungeons. You both jumped away from each other, your attention diverted to the Slytherin boy that interrupted the moment. “Malfoy come on, the party! And you can bring her too.”
You frowned when the boy came up to the two of you, clearly tipsy, dressed as a stereotypical vampire, and over-excited with the fact that Draco was out and willing to participate in Halloween festivities. It seemed like it bothered the now red-head when he looked to you and then back to the Slytherin boy with an apprehensive expression.
The boy, sensing the pause in the air, grabbed onto both you and Draco’s arms and started dragging the two of you towards the Slytherin common room where although the stone walls were thick, the sound of people celebrating inside were easily slipping past the stone slabs. He spoke the password out quickly and as soon as the entrance was open, you were both shoved inside into what looked like the largest party you had ever witnessed in all your years at Hogwarts. It was packed and filled with what looked like half of the school, or at least a huge majority of fifth-years and up. It was loud with music booming from a brand new wizarding-world radio in the middle of the room currently playing a song from the Weird Sisters. It smelled like a mixture of everyone’s perfumes and colognes and like firewhisky. The boy that pushed you two inside quickly passed you two cups of the very potent firewhisky before downing the third one he had in his hand and disappeared into the crowd while screaming for you to enjoy yourselves.
You both stood awkwardly away from the big and rowdy crowd, your drink clenched tightly in your hand against your chest and Draco swishing his around while it was still in the cup.
He wanted to up and run, thinking that someone was going to make a comment about his hair or about him being there, but no one seemed to pay attention to him or that he was there and in a way, he felt relieved by it and less tense by the second.
“How in the bloody hell did we end up here?” You yelled over the music, putting a hand over his arm that was holding his drink up. You didn’t mean to, but you were glad you did because he glanced down at the contact with a small smile before looking back up to you.
“We got dragged here, remember!” He yelled back.
“What?”
“We got dragged here!”
“I can’t hear you!”
He rolled his eyes, bending down towards your ear to repeat himself one last time before you finally heard him over the mayhem around you.
“This is crazy!” You looked around the room, the sight of all the bodies and recklessness being too much as they were all more than likely drunk and oblivious to how stuffy and suffocating the room was becoming.
You looked down at the golden brown liquid sloshing around in your cup, wondering whether or not you should take it, but with the nervousness you felt coming back, it didn’t take you much longer to decide to down your cup and allow the liquid courage to seep into your veins. Draco watched you with amusement, chuckling to himself when you scrunched up your face in disgust from the burn he knew it caused as it went down your throat. He shook his head, deciding to drink his too and it was only minutes that passed before the drink was quickly becoming apparent in your systems. There was something about Firewhisky that always made its mark promptly and it really was courage in a bottle that you were glad was available to you in that moment because you were sure that in just a few minutes you were close to fainting.
You were beginning to sway faintly to the music, the rhythm sounding more loud but distant and more invigorating. You didn’t care anymore if anyone was watching or that Draco was observing you curiously just as he was beginning to lose all sense of holding himself back. He was inching closer to you, his head moving slightly to beat of the song and pure joy etched onto his features when your eyes met his.
“I keep forgetting I turned your hair red!” You yelled up to him, laughing loudly when he ran his hand through it. In your moment of confidence, you reached up and lightly ran your fingers over one of the front pieces hanging over his forehead. He didn’t stop you, his heart hammering against his chest from the drink and his overwhelming crush that was clouding all his senses. “Your hair is so soft!”
He wanted to pin you up against the wall right then and there. You were peering up at him, just as you were before you were dragged inside by one of his Housemates and as soon as he was about to kiss you.
“Do you want to get out of here?” He knew to bend down this time for you to hear him to which you responded with a fervent nod. You took his hand in yours, pulling him towards the exit of the common room and he let you lead him into the coldness of the dungeons that bit at his cheeks. It was a stark difference from the warmth inside, the crisp October air being more chilled than what either of you were expecting. It felt nice against your flushed skin and easier to breathe, especially once after the common room closed again and you could hear was muffled talking and music.
Neither of you were drunk and were still aware of pretty much everything, mostly the feelings stirring inside you both that was begging either of you to make a move towards the other. You were just a tad tipsy, and so was he, but it was enough for you to still enjoy the night without the initial awkwardness that oddly settled in between you. It was weird, considering how open and talkative you usually were with each other but there was something about the evening that made it feel like if you didn’t know each other.
“What now?” He asked you with a raised brow, his hand slipping into his pocket.
You smiled, an idea coming to your head that you knew he would love and you didn’t mind doing in the name of Halloween. “Do you want to go mess with people?”
He stared at you with widened eyes, “bloody hell, I love you.”
There was nothing that could have prepared you for his response, your own eyes widening in shock as you stared at him. He felt his face get hot in embarrassment, Merlin, he felt so stupid. He was mentally smacking himself in the head, desperately wishing he could bury himself seven feet under the Earth and staying there until the end of time.
He was about to play off what he said in a joking way, but for the second time that night he was interrupted by a couple that stumbled out of the common room drunkenly snogging each other’s faces off and wholly oblivious to you and Draco standing there in lingering panic. You jumped back into his arms when the couple staggered past you, almost knocking you over in the process of their makeout session and it annoyed you beyond belief. It annoyed you that they were in your way, annoyed that they interrupted you, annoyed that it wasn’t you in their position with the one you wanted.
You dug your wand out of your pocket, flicking it their way as they rolled onto the wall, still in each other’s hold until the hex that flew from your wand hit the boy causing him to stagger back from the girl and holding his nose in pain. You heard Draco laugh from behind you when bats began to fly out from the boy’s nostrils while the girl screamed and ran away from one of the bats that swept down onto her head. The bats flew out of the dungeon and up the stairs with the boy struggling loudly the whole way up until his panicked screams were no longer heard.
“That was a perfect bat-bogey,” he looks at you proudly. “I feel bad for that poor bloke’s nose.”
“Thank you, thank you,” you bowed jokingly.
When the sound of the door opened again, you both ran to hide behind a long drape against the wall that didn’t hide your shoes very well and pressed up against your bodies that’s shapes were no doubt visible from the opposite side.
You heard footsteps trail haphazardly down the corridor, their back seemingly facing you and as you both peeked your heads out from behind the drape, Draco nodded towards the boy and pointed his wand towards him.
“Slugulus Eructo,” you heard him whisper and a stream of green light from his wand hit the back of the boy’s head and as he turned around in surprise while doubling over in pain, his hand clamped tightly over his mouth as slugs began to slip past the spaces between his fingers. When he stood up to run away, you noticed it was the same boy from earlier that stopped you two from the almost kiss and dragged you to the party. You let out a string of giggles as he ran away just like your last victims.
“This is so mean,” you chortle, leaning into him from behind the drape in an attempt to get closer to him. You were feeling bolder when he beamed down at you, feeling happy knowing that although the night was still young, he was having fun. “Thank you for coming with me tonight, I know you don’t like Halloween.” You say quietly.
“You finally convinced me, it’s not that bad,” he grins.
“Why’d you hate it in the first place?”
The question seemed to strike a nerve but the Firewhisky still flowing freely in his veins tore away easily at his defenses so instead of avoiding your question entirely like he usually would, he frowned and let his guard down.
“I don’t hate it,” he answers apprehensively. “My father never let me celebrate it. He never let me dress up. He told me respectable wizards don’t partake in holidays like these.”
His pout made your gut twist in sympathy, your hand instinctively going into his as you squeezed it reassuringly. “It’s never too late to start celebrating. Besides, I don’t see him here stopping you.”
He smiled for what felt like the hundredth time that night, his stained-red hair falling over his eyes as he looked down to his shoes.
“You have a point, darling.”
The door of the common room opened again and what you suspected to be another snogging couple to stumble out from the sound of heavy breathing and multiple shoes scuffling about was something completely different.
“Glad Malfoy stayed with someone else today.” It was Crabbe.
“Yeah, he never lets us go to these parties,” Goyle responds. “Go ahead and thank Y/L/N for freeing us, he fancies her like a fool.”
“Reckon we should go look for them?”
You figured Goyle nodded to him like the blathering idiot he was because in a few short seconds they were running away up the same steps everyone else had.
You peered up slowly at Draco who was already gaping at you like a deer in headlights. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. The gears in your brain were spinning wildly with happiness, the gossip hopefully being proven true when he didn’t try to deny it. You didn’t realize how close his face was to yours, cheeks tinged with pink from both the firewhisky and sudden shyness and his warm cinnamon breath fanning your face as he looked down at you.
“I can explain,” he finally said.
He didn’t need to; you placed your hands gently on his cheeks, pulling him impossibly closer to you and pressing your lips against his, catching him completely by surprise. His eyes were wide at first, his body rigid and his lips unmoving, but once it finally clicked that this was real and no longer a fantasy that played like a broken record in his head, his lips moved fervently against yours with the rest of his body following. His hands gripped your hips tightly, his fingers squeezing at the hem of your bottoms and his body pushing even further into yours.
Your bottom lip caught lightly in between his teeth as you reluctantly pulled away from him, the both of you breathing raggedly as you searched each other’s eyes.
“I feel the same,” you said softly. “Happy Halloween.”
He smashes his lips hungrily against yours again, his ego growing with each gasp of a delight that escapes your mouth as your hands roamed and tangled themselves into his magically colored strands.
“Very…happy…halloween,” he mutters against your lips in between kisses, a dazy smile adorning your face while he tightened his arms around you.
You just couldn’t wait until next year.

Draco was excited for his friends to come over. Despite seeing them throughout the whole semester at Hogwarts, Draco was still looking forward to spending countless summer days with them. Hearing the door open, Draco zoomed down the stairs as he heard three distinct voices. “Guys!” he cheered as he saw his friends’ faces light up with a smile. Because both Narcissa and Lucius were gone, the four children were free to roam the manor and its gardens as they pleased. With the heat making it impossible to run around, the children decided to have a water fight. After persuading the elves to provide them with an unending supply of snacks and treats, the four children began chasing each other about the gardens, spraying water in each other’s faces. “Come and get me, Blaise!” Pansy yelled before shrieking as Blaise sprayed water all over her causing the young girl to laugh loudly. Draco was currently hiding behind one of the bushes, preparing to ambush Theo who was standing around, looking to find his next target. Just as Draco was about to shoot, he heard the car door close and realised his parents must have been home now. Standing up in excitement, Draco failed to notice Theo’s smirk as the young boy soaked him.
Because he didn’t want to be soaking like his son, Lucius instantly held both palms up in surrender when he approached the gardens. “Woah, Woah! I’m the good guy!” Lucius warned playfully, wiggling his eyebrows at the young children. “Hi, Mr Malfoy” Pansy smiled before directing her attention to Mrs Malfoy who was still standing by the car. It was then that Draco remembered where his parents had just come from. “Wait!” your brother cried. “Is she really here?” he smiled, looking up at his father. Lucius simply nodded as he looked in his wife’s direction and saw you come out of the car. It had been a while since Draco’s friends had seen you, especially with you being in Beauxbatons, France during the school semesters. “Is who here?” Blaise asked, looking back and forth between Draco and Lucius finding himself growing more curious. “My sister, duh! Who else?” Draco smiled as he dropped the water toys and ran straight towards the car in your direction.
When Pansy saw you step out of the car, she didn’t need much persuasion to follow Draco and run over towards you. Growing up as an only child, Pansy found herself looking up to you as a big sister. The young girl adored spending time with you, which was tough given how infrequently she saw you. Even though she was Draco’s friend, she would constantly come to the manor to see you. Just you. “Wait for us!” Theo called out as he and Blaise headed over to follow their friends. Seeing your brother run towards you, with his friends closely behind, you couldn’t help but smirk in delight at all the attention. Even though Draco was an irritating little brother that drove you crazy from time to time, you still loved him. “Wow, would you look at what we have here!” you teased, earning a subtle glare from your mother. You had only just arrived home and planned to annoy your brother relentlessly. “Hi, baby dragon,” you smiled as you hugged your brother before turning your attention to his friends. Noticing Pansy’s huge smile, you quickly offered the girl a hug, which she happily reciprocated with glee. You loved spending time with Pansy. She was nothing but adorable. A little bit of a tomboy, but sweet nonetheless.
Theo couldn’t help but grin in enjoyment as Draco’s childhood nickname was mentioned. “Baby dragon?” he asked, folding his arms and looking at Draco, mocking him. “Shut up, Theo” Draco grumbled before being interrupted by his mother. “Now, now Draco. That’s not kind,” she scolded him before joining her husband in the gardens. As Narcissa made her way toward Lucius, she was shocked when he started to drench her in water, causing Narcissa to shriek at how cold the water was. “Ah! Lucius- you little!”, she started before chasing her husband around the gardens attempting to soak him back. Laughing loudly at the sight of your parents’ actions, you very quickly chased after them assisting your mother in seeking her revenge. It wasn’t long before the remaining children followed suit and started to drench Lucius in water causing the grown man to pout. “Alright! Alright! I surrender! Ah- Y/N! How dare you turn your back on me? What happened to you being Daddy’s girl, huh?” Lucius mocked, causing you to roll your eyes at him. “You should have thought about that before you soaked Mum!” you retorted, sticking your tongue out at your father causing Lucius to fake his hurt expression.
“See, Lu. I told you,” Narcissa smirked. “I’m Y/N’s favourite!” she smiled before wrapping her arm around you and hugging you. Hugging your mother, you couldn’t help but smile. You truly had missed your family, especially this semester. So it was wonderful knowing how easy it was for you to slip back into the groove of things. Noticing your father’s pout, you pulled away from your mother to hug him before kissing him softly on the cheek causing his frown to turn upside down and showcase a smile once more. “You’re both my favourites,” you emphasised.
“But she loves me more!” Draco interrupted. “Nuh-uh! Y/N loves me more!” Pansy repeated, mocking the younger blonde boy. “What? You’re not even her real sister! Besides, we all know Y/N loves us more! We are her favourite boys!”, Theo argued before nodding towards Blaise who smiled in agreement. “Yeah! We’re much less annoying-”, Blaise started before shrieking when the cold water made contact with his back. Turning around and catching you standing there, one hand on your hip as you giggled at his reaction, you very quickly ran away when you realised you were in for it. As the younger children chased you around the garden, your parents couldn’t help but laugh at how quickly you surrendered once they caught up to you.
“Alright, alright! Hey! Okay! I love you all very much! Quit it, Draco!”, you begged before pulling your brother down onto the grass by his ankles. Once Draco was down for the count, you very quickly ran away from the rest of the children before making a spontaneous decision. Clearly, they weren’t looking to stop the water fight anytime soon, not unless they were deemed victorious. Noticing that mischievous look in your eyes, Narcissa very quickly warned you against whatever you were thinking. “Y/N Narcissa Malfoy. Don’t you dare-” she started, but it was too late.
Jumping into the pool, the four children looked at you in shock. They knew you were a risk-taker but this was crazy! “Your sister is so cool!” Pansy mumbled to Draco who simply nodded his head as he was still stunned by your actions. That was the thing Draco loved about you. You were the brave one. The one person in his life he could always rely on. No matter what. “Ha! Ha! I won!” you cheered knowing there was no way they would copy you. You thought wrong! Quickly swimming out of the way, all four children floated up laughing at how cool the water in the pool felt. “Ha! Ha! Now we won too!” Pansy smiled as she swam towards you and hugged you once more. You hurriedly got out of the pool after noticing your father chuckling in the background as he went into the manor and dried yourself off with one of the towels nearby. “Y/N!” Narcissa scolded, even though you could tell she was being playful. As you spent the rest of the evening with your little brother and his friends, smiling as they told you stories of their time at Hogwarts before they insisted on hearing about your time at Beauxbatons instead.
