first Stove Top Keto Calzone
13 net carbs
1 & ½ cup of cups mozzarella cheeses (shredded)
½ cup of Rao’s Marinara Sauce
Pepperoni slices
Sliced onions
½ tea spoon garlic powder
½ tea spoon of Italian seasoning
I added ricotta cheese to mine, you can do without it.
Warm up the pepperoni, onions or other toppings first and then sit aside. Add your 1 & ½ cup cheese to pan ( add the seasonings) and wait till the rounded edges of the cheese begin to golden and then add in the pepperoni, onions or other toppings and can add some sauce or have it on the side and then flip one side over and plate it and enjoy.

The journey began 4 weeks ago at 272 and today standing tall at 252 while eating keto pizza, bacon, sausage, butter and other fatty goodness. Diabetic blood sugars have been under control for the first time in years. Keto has been a savings grace!

Blood sugar before keto pizza was 98 and one hour later with just a slight spike of 114 its in not normal range.

Took a walk around the mall tonight and returned fallout, wasn’t feeling it. Feeling good today. Planning on making keto pizza tomorrow, we’ll see.
Blood sugar check
So before lunch my blood sugar was 102 and after three eggs, one ounce of cheese, coffee and water with pink himalayan salt my blood sugar was 99, perfect.

Walked the mall and because I’m fallout geek I picked up their new release while I was there. Brrr, chilly outside. Now it’s on to Adli to get cheese and then lunch.
Insulin Level Check
Woke up to normal routine, lemon water with pink himalayan and bulletproof coffee and checked my blood sugars and they were normal at 102. Bulletproof coffee nor nothing else spiked my insulin levels. I’ve been maintaining normal insulin levels even after my first meal.
Planning on doing another egg fast today, why? I don’t know really, maybe I just like eggs. Will only be consuming eggs and cheese for the next 3 to 5 days (gonna see if I can push 5 days this time) and I’ll keep y'all notified on results, I’m pretty curious myself. Today gonna go do some walking, hit the mall up and check out some clothes as well as stop at aldi for some cheese.

Snacking on Saturdays seems to be the theme. We tried out the pepperoni mini pizzas from @realgoodfoods. Baked them, then crisped them up a bit on the stove top. I liked these. I might add some extra pepperoni to mine next time.

I had zero ideas what to do with the chicken thighs that I took out of the freezer this morning.
I ended up searing them off and then slow braising them with onions, a can of green chillies, garlic with a little chicken broth. Thicken it up with a spoonful of sour cream after I took it off the heat at the very end.
Served over cauliflower rice and topped with shredded cheese. Definite repeat meal.

This time last week I was feeling really frustrated at myself for messing up that weekend. However I feel like I’ve managed to turn things around and I am feeling a lot better about things now. I have created my own fitness plan for february including a mix of walking, dancing, and other cardio. I have also told myself and my friend that I am not drinking until I’ve hit 77kg. I need to set myself some short term goals and I also really want to push past the 79 mark for good.
I will be doing a weigh-in tomorrow and I will post it no matter what it says.
weight update: 79.5kg
I have two weeks and four days until Christmas day. My goal is to hit 77kg by that time. I realise that I probably will not be hitting my goal of 75kg by the end of the year but that just means I have a goal to hit in 2021. I am feeling really motivated at the moment. The lockdown here in Germany has probably helped me stay on track as I have few distractions to derail my progress. I will be doing weight updates the next two mondays before christmas.

I was doing so well at the beginning of November but after I handed in my dissertation I think I started telling myself that I needed a break from dieting and work. So the past few weeks have been kinda bad in terms of dieting. I didn’t go overboard and binge which is great but I’ve just been slowly eating more and more things I typically would not eat.
I have three weeks until Christmas. I weigh 80.9kg now. I want to get back down to the 78 I hit in November at least. These next three weeks are going to be a pre-christmas glow up of sorts. I am exercising twice a day (even if its light walking), doing keto, drinking lots of water, and drinking no alcohol.
My weight is 80.1kg, I am having a full month of no drinking (the lockdown measures in germany make that easier) which started on the 24th of October. I am going all in this month. I am getting in the 70′s and staying there. No more in and out of the 80′s. I have modified my diet slightly - I am still doing low carb however I have upped my protein and lowered my fat. This is kinda just an experiment to see what happens and it changes things up a little bit.
My goals - previously I had a party at the end of November that I wanted to be 75kg for. The party has been cancelled and I doubt I would of managed to hit 75 anyway. My ultimate goal is to be 75kg by Christmas however I would like to hit it earlier if possible. I really want to start 2021 having hit all my goals that I set myself last year.
I am feeling positive and motivated for the rest of the year, even though it has been such a messed up one. 2020 may of been a disaster for all of us but we can make the most of what we have left of it.
So for the next week I am at my parents house in the country. I’ve done this so that I have no distractions and no temptations to go out drinking with my friends.
I am also going to do little food photo diaries which show what my recent favourite meals are to eat. It’ll all mostly be low carb/keto as I am still following this kind of eating.
I just want to make my diet and fitness fun and interesting again. I haven’t jogged in like two weeks so I am resuming it today. I also want to incorporate an ab work out.. I might jump on the bandwagon and try Chloe ting but I am slightly concerned it might destroy me.
My weight has creeped up the past week and I’m back at 80.3kg. I know it’s probably only water weight since I’ve been eating carbs but I really wanna be back in that 79.

Surpassed my lowest weight recorded on myfitnesspal.
In 2017 on the 24th of May I was 81.7kg
Today I hit 81.6kg. Seeing that graph surpass that low is so satisfying. I can’t wait for even more progress!

Current weight: 81.8kg
Things are going well, the lockdown, as boring as it may be, has helped me with losing weight. Temptations have been taken away (such as drinking or eating out) which means I’ve kept to my diet a lot more religiously.
I’m hoping I hit the 70s before my birthday (27th of June). That would be a nice gift to myself.
