Featuring as a guest on @nancypodcast live in Chicago this weekend at a really beautiful old school theatre (in my hometown) is definitely up there on my list of “favorite things about being an intersex educator & activist!” As the year wraps up, I’d like to remind everyone that no matter what they tell you – sex and gender are not mutually exclusive and they’re definitely NOT binary. Our society needs to keep chugging along towards understanding that everything is complex, and our bodies and genders are not exempt. Once society says goodbye to its current obsession with a binary way of viewing sex and gender (which has its roots the colonizer’s worldview that was forced upon Native Americans), then I believe we all take one giant step forward towards the collective liberation we all are fighting for (especially queer, trans, GNC, & intersex people). In 2017 I manifested that I wanted make intersex awareness my full-time gig with a secondary goal of trying to speak at more medical colleges and hospitals. Thanks to Rush University, UIC College of Medicine and UW-Milwaukee’s School of Nursing I have begun to see the realization of that intention. In 2018, I want to manifest a few more things: 1. Speak and show my film to more clinicians/Nurses and medical students. 2. Build on the success of our small yet mighty group: Intersex People of Color for Justice (and collaborate on more actions and protests at Childrens’ Hospitals). 3. [First photo were screaming: #FuckYoSurgery] Last night, people from all across the city (and country) came together at the wonderful amazing @plusgallerychicago (support them w/ meetings & events!) and we drank tea, created banners/signs, and talked about why we support intersex people having the right to make THEIR OWN decisions about THEIR OWN bodies when it comes to hormones, gonadal and genital surgeries. Tomorrow, on Intersex Awareness Day, we’re bringing those banners, signs and our voices directly to one of the culprit’s doorsteps: Lurie Children’s Hospital (who’s Sex Development Program is still performing medically unnecessary surgeries!) located at 225 E. So a fun fact – the mother of Pride was an openly kinky polyamorous bisexual woman. Kinksters have always been involved in Pride – and openly involved. Kink is a part of many queer people’s sexuality and they shouldn’t have to hide that, especially not at Pride. It’s an insult to the queer people who came (and died) before us to try to remove displays of kink from Pride for the sake of being “family friendly” (which really just means caving to the sanitization that most benefits corporate interests).
Seeing someone in a harness or leather chaps or wearing a leash & collar isn’t going to be harmful to children but if youreally want to make Pride child/family friendly – then go arrange an event that’s specifically dedicated to that. Makingmorespaces for queer expression will always be better than trying to narrow the ones that already exist.
I wasn’t initially sure if I wanted to use the ACT UP triangle in the background of this piece but after a discussion I had with a roommate of mine who grew up in the 80s and 90s, who was given classes on AIDS before it was given any other sex education and how important kink was to people in those days, how kink and gay rights were inextricably linked back in the early days of Pride… I decided it was important to include it. Because these are both parts of our history that are linked and should be remembered.

He has a lot of videos of him just harassing and making “ parody ” songs and posts invalidating lgbtq+ people mostly trans people and wlw.
He has “ talks ” with trans people acting as if he just wishes to have a “ friendly ” conversation then harasses them..
He takes photos of trans people and uses them for his “ educational ” aka harassment videos and “ parodies ” mocking their looks. I I believe he takes the photos without their permission..
He also invades trans spaces and women’s spaces to make mocking harassy videos…
He also has underlying hints that feminism is making kids trans???? He also comments and likes many comments claiming feminism and the trans community are
“ cults ”
He and his followers are a danger to trans youth and all lgbtq+ youth as a whole.
