Happy Tuesday, Bookworms! Did you know that this week is National Library Week?? It is! Even though I have my own little library, I still use the library a LOT, and am a member at a few different ones in my area. They are ALL Amazing! I don’t visit much in person lately, but I do check out their online content all the time. (Seriously, ALL the time.) They are so great, and so appreciated! I love the library so much. Do you guys ever use the library??

My required reading for Kripalu’s YYT is coming in book by book in the mail, so time to wrap up the last chapters of my summer reading. It’s been a great summer for books this year, huge shout out an THANK YOU to everyone who recommended, lent and gifted me books these passed couple months including of course the Framingham Public Library (who’s books aren’t shown here since they’re returned already )

We love Oregon writer Stewart Holbrook (1893-1964) and he loved our library. Here, from the Holbrook papers in our special collections, he wrote about our library benches in 1934 for The Oregonian: “Next to the library itself, I think they are one of the grandest things in town.” They’re still there, and we agree…
