Happy Sunday, Bookworms! Are there any upcoming sequels that you can’t wait to get your hands on? One that I am SO excited for is *Chain of Iron* by Cassandra Clare! (Does a third book in a series count as a sequel? ) The book was originally supposed to release earlier this year, but then it got pushed to later this year, which made me super bummed. It’s finally Friday, Bookworms! Do you have anything planned for this weekend? Do you have any reading plans? My weekend plans include cleaning and laundry, and hopefully a bit of reading and catching up on Bookstagram as well! What are you guys up to this weekend?
And today is Earth Day! Do you know one thing that we all have in common? We all live on Earth! Do you do anything to help make Earth a better place? I try to do as much as I can every day to keep my carbon footprint as low as possible, including doing the 3 R’s - Reduce, Reuse and Recyle. I also use as many eco-friendly products as I can, and I love finding new products and ideas to use. There are so many great ideas! What do you guys do to help the environment? I would love to find some new ways to help today!

Do you have a favorite genre at the moment? Romance and fantasy are still my two most favorite genres, but I have recently started reading some historical romance, and I’m really getting into it! I’m also still craving all the mystery and thriller books, so I need to work some of those onto my tbr as well. What about you guys? What genres are you loving at the moment??

Have you ever done a buddy read before? What’s a book or series that you’d like to buddy read? I love the idea of of a buddy read. It’s sounds so fun! I’ve only done two buddy reads so far, and … I’m not very good at it. With my short attention span and frequent reading slumps, I am just the worst at trying to keep up with a buddy. That being said, I have enjoy the books that I’ve buddy read so far. For some reason I immediately thought of the *Beautiful* series by Renee Ahdieh would make a good buddy read. It’s such a good series, and would be great to discuss with a buddy. (I definitely need to read the last book asap!) What would your picks be??

Happy Tuesday, Bookworms! Did you know that this week is National Library Week?? It is! Even though I have my own little library, I still use the library a LOT, and am a member at a few different ones in my area. They are ALL Amazing! I don’t visit much in person lately, but I do check out their online content all the time. (Seriously, ALL the time.) They are so great, and so appreciated! I love the library so much. How many books do you own?? Or, how do you like to organize your bookshelves??
Happy Sunday, Bookworms! Do you know how many books you own? Last time I counted, (and that was sometime last year), I own well over 1,000 books. I’ve added a lot more since then as well. As you can see above, the stacks and stacks of books are getting a little out of control. But, I am planning to do an unhaul soon and I will hopefully have a few boxes worth to send to donations. And I try to organize my shelves by genre and author, but it doesn’t always work out the way I want it to. What about you guys? Do you know how many books you own? And how do you organize your shelves?

What books are you hoping to read in May??
Happy first day of May, Bookworms! Are you guys ready for a brand new month of reading? May is going to be a great month for new releases! I have quite a few of them on my reading list for this month. And there are just SO many others books that I want to read this month as well, I’m having a hard time picking which to go with. Part of me wants to do a Cozy Murder Mystery May theme, but I also want to read all the new romance I got recently, and catch up on my TBR from previous months, and read the books I started but haven’t finished, AND read all the new releases … I definitely have way too many options. I am for sure starting my yearly reread of *The Remnant Chronicles* this month and I am SOOOO excited to get back to one of my most favorite worlds! Spring 2022 is going to be a really awesome season for new books! Especially this coming May. It’s going to be an epic book month! Are there any that you’re excited for? I have so many. SO many! Two of my most anticipated are *Something Wilder* by Christina Lauren and *The Murder of Mr. Wickham* by Claudia Gray. Oh, AND *By the Book* by Jasmine Guillory as well! I could go on and on… I haven’t been this excited about new books in a while, and it’s nice! Are there any upcoming releases that you’re excited for?
And did you guys see the cover for the sequel to Ninth House? (I… Did not love the cover. ) I imagine it’s going to be a best seller like the first book for sure, which is why I featured Ninth House for today’s prompt.

Recently, V revealed on Instagram, in conjunction with Juniper books, that she helped design a custom book set for The Shades of Magic series. Naturally, I smash the purchase button.

Now I know the Shadowhunter Chronicles is not one long series. But I’m still going to count it. Because I am a firm believer in publication order when reading these books. Which can be a little confusing but ultimately so worth it.
