Um so now she is a fox in socks bc I have had trouble finding all the little bones and bits when I bury, so my mom had the idea to put socks over her feet and head to try and keep them all together and make digging her out later a bit easier. Pretty goofy lookin tho.

If I’d had the insight and clarity of mind at the time to see the state I was living in, I would have sought professional help to work through the inner turmoil. It’s been a long, rough road to get to a place where the fear of letting someone in no longer breaks down my sense of agency. I tend to take my time now when it comes to getting to know people. I pay attention to warning signs. I know not to neglect my friendships when I engage with someone new. And someone’s level of respect for the boundaries I clearly lay out plays a huge role in whether or not I build trust with them.

Despite any precautions I make take, trauma still may not be altogether avoidable. But having people and resources in place to support me should anything happen has definitely enhanced my courage, strength and resilience. At the end of the day I want to experience deep intimacy and connection, and that can only happen if I open myself up to trust. I refuse to let fear keep me from having beautiful experiences, especially fear that stems from the abuse I went through. I lived in fear of him long enough; I feel that continuing to carry the fear with me would mean staying strongly connected to him and all those memories and I want no part of either. I am choosing to keep the lessons and release the fear.

In the first semester of this Year (2018) I was the Creator and Director of an original animated university proyect named “Plus Ultra”.

It was the story of 3 misfits but corageous pirates, who wanted to reach the most dangerous and unexplored place of the sea: The world’s edge.

It was influenced a lot by Classic pirate legends from different cultures (Caribean, Chinesse, Nordic…), H.P Lovecraft’s creatures and The Marvelous misadventures of Flapjack.
(The most important difference with this last one, is that “Plus Ultra” instead of a parody, its a surrealistic tribute to the pirate stories)

The idea was to came up at the end of this year with a Animated teaser– but Sadly the proyect was cancelled at the middle of the year. (I dont wanna get in details, but basically it was a lot of people who wasn’t really interested and other who just wanted to harm me). Wich is very distressing for me because I really love this project and I think it has a lot to offer, Life is tough, and people can be pretty shitty.

Even so, my closest friends (from uni and internet) helped me a couple of times, wich is very heartwarming.

I can’t say the proyect is completly dead, it alread has a story and a big cast of characters, many people (including teachers) has told me to make thi a real thing– but it may have to pass some time before I think about restarting it…
