“yeah no” is one of the best phrases in contemporary English.

And before anyone thinks this is the only translation, both “yeah no” and “no yeah” can be used as filler (like “umm” or “uh”) that might not indicate any kind of agreement with the statements of other.
“Yeah no for sure” only ever means definitely, but it can be said both sincerely and sarcastically just like definitely. I feel like the sarcastic version is harder to detect than “definitely” but that may just be my experiences with both words. ♂️
omg so it’s actually accurate canon! I assumed that Pete Wentz must have said “yeah, no” in an interview somewhere because it was SO universally a piece of dialogue he was given, but now I see it was people being accurate about how Midwesterners speak! Excellent!

A piece of advice….. try to avoid moving in December if you celebrate winter holidays , it adds too much unnecessary stress

Christmas was very very nice, we have a house full of happy kids and this is all that really matters! Our daughter and her boyfriend were actually both brought to tears when they opened their gift!
