Seriously. Why do the gods torment me with this stupid, regressive pile of privileged, nonsensical bullshit!? Why?
My father’s brother is schizophrenic. He can’t hold down a job or take care of himself. Sometimes, he gets insecure and starts calling everyone he knows, over and over, until someone answers the phone. He doesn’t have anything to say. He just wants to know that other people care about him.
My mother’s mother has some sort of undiagnosed mental illness and/or personality disorder. She’s been refusing to see a doctor about it for decades. Whatever it is, it makes her very difficult to engage with sometimes. She can be rude, hurtful, and occasionally bizarre. The family tries to see her regularly, but it’s always hard.
A few years ago, my uncle was calling people late at night and no one was answering. Eventually, he ran out of people he was close to to call, and ended up calling my grandmother, his brother’s mother-in-law. She picked up the phone.
The thing is, she wants to talk constantly in her rude and occasionally bizarre way, and he wants someone who will always answer the phone when he needs someone. So he calls and she answers and she talks and he listens. This has been going on for years now.
So that’s the story of how my two mentally ill relatives make each other feel wanted and cared for. Sweet, isn’t it?
I like how Go’s awkward behavior with people could also be seen as the cause of his issues with teamwork, he was a lonely child who didn’t understand himself, had zero friends, seemingly felt slighted by the few people he did befriend so far, and on top of it has his own issues with Shigeru’s ways at times. He really did “feel” like a MC/protagonists here actually even if he did lose in-comparison to his mates, him getting less in the end versus his rivals did seem like a “one-step ahead” thing was in place. My favorite scene was Shigeru (he felt seasoned and shittalking without feeling “regressed”) snarking at him and Tokio also calling him out on his issues and him just looking down with that sour face of insecurity he often had in earlier episodes or Shigeru’s first episode.
AU after episode 62. The Omega Dads try a more desperate gambit, but careful what you wish for. Our dads find alternate versions of themselves in a strange dreamscape. Do you trust yourself?
Casual reminder that lack of sexual desire/lack of desire to have sex, is still considered a sign of mental illness by a lot of reputable medical organizations. Just in case you forgot aphobia is a thing.

i’m taking ap classes this year including the infamous amazingly difficult calculus and music theory, and i’m currently in the running for valedictorian at my school. it’s really tough this year, so i’m focusing a lot on my schoolwork.
i was also recently cast as sally brown in a community production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!” and i think it’s safe to say that it’s probably going to be the best show i’ve ever been in.
college applications and auditions are also coming up soon, so a lot of my time is dedicated to figuring out how to do that.
i’m also the president of a couple clubs and i’m involved with a select singing group at my school that meets at 6:50 am mondays/tuesdays/thursdays
and on top of all this i have auditions for the addams family in march, and i have some tough competition if i want to be wednesday, so i’m taking lots of private voice and dance lessons.
so, yeah, i’m a little busy.
i’m definitely going to write the last installment of flannel, and i’ll be reblogging content, but my writing from here on out will be kinda sketch.

please,please play nice, yall. seriously, your opinion is valid but is also far from the only one in existence. however you feel, if you feel it so strongly that anything contrary makes you angry? please examine why that might be. maybe go do something else if you have to.
i love Sonic to bits and want what’s best for the series too, but in the end it’s not the most urgent thing in the world. at least, not urgent enough to be worth hurting other people. and there’s too much of that, in the fandom and out. if it’s in your power, please resist contributing to that.

Fireworks… A photo of fireworks is WAY too inappropriate for Tumblr. And I HIGHLY doubt the @staff is going to do anything about the appeals. One of my posts that I submitted for appeal long ago, is still sitting in limbo.

The post that is stuck in limbo was one of my Game Grumps posts, which I tried to have appealed almost a year and a half ago. And a lot of the posts that got flagged were my Game Grumps posts that was posted 4+ years ago.
