Author’s note: I hope you enjoy! This part is the kick starter of the relationship between the reader and Mikealsons. Long awaited I know. This part sparkled a new flame in me to write this series. As always, your feedback is more than welcome. Requests are still open, don’t hesitate to send some in.

Remembering her mother’s words Y/n didn’t touch the grimoires, dairies or anything for that matter. Especially because when she lightly touched the opened book, the pain was unbearable.

On the table where the book laid, she found a pair of worn-brown glows. She took them and feltthat she needed to put them on, and so she did.

She walked around the table and stopped immediately when her eyes meet the familiar handwriting, her mothers. She read the strange text in half whisper. As she did all hairs rose, and coldness hugged her body.

“What’s revealed to destined eyes
Is disguised for the others’
I ask you mother night
to hide this house.
Only when the time comes
And the destined had arrived
May you reveal the hidden for all eyes.”

When the last word escaped her mouth, her vision clouded and body refused to stand.

Elijah and Kol

“It is probably nothing to worry about.” Kol tried to ignore the noise of a broken branch. After all, they were in the woods.

“Nevertheless, I think we should check what it was. We are surely not the only ones looking for the girl.” Elijah pointed out the obvious. Unlike his brother, he experienced the power this girl possessed and the rage, of who he thought was her father, when she disappeared.

“Perhaps we are not the only ones looking for her and someone is stupid enough to spy on us,” Kol spoked confident of his original vampire strength. No one would dare to get in the way of twooriginals, “or perhaps it was just an animal. If you are so worried, maybe you should seek to it, while I get the girl.” He said sarcastically and rolled his eyes. Elijah’s eyes widened. “What, now?” annoyance displayed in Kol’s eyes and tone.

“There is a wolf behind you, brother.” Stated Elijah.

Kol turned around. The wolf lowered its body like it was ready to attack, but it didn’t, it pushed away and runoff.

“This cannot be a coincidence. We should hurry.” Elijah’s voice a mixture of confidence, calmness and worry. One wolf, it could mean that there is more. And he was well aware that the girl will not come willingly, it’s been a few days, who knows how much she learned.

“Elijah, Is this the same house?” Kol was puzzled, he could swear that this house looked like from a horror movie, and not like a regular family house.

“It most certainly does not look like.” The other vampire stated. So, she must have learned something. Thankfully for them not a lot if she took down the disguise spell.

The two brothers made their way to the house that no longer resembled the old ruin it once was. Elijah pushed the door open. Both brothers were overwhelmed by the sweet fruity scent, to the point that it made difficult for them to breath. They looked around the house and followed the scent.

They walked towards stairs that led to the attic, slowly they made their way up. Reaching the top, they saw a room filled with artefacts from different time eras. Surely collected for centuries. Then finally their gaze landed on the unconscious girl.

“At least we don’t have to deal with her.” Kol pointed at the girl.

“I agree. However, brother, we need her and the books.” His voice a bit rough. He considered the girl she looked, peaceful. Definitely not like a powerful creature she was.

“Welcome my child.” Y/n heard the airy voice and opened her eyes.

She was in a room that was covered in white. Everything was white. White marble floor with gold and grey details. Walls were white with flags behind each white chair. And on the chairs sat women. Young women. All in dresses. There was eleven of them; all surprisingly similar, like sisters. The women in the middle sat on a throne-like chair. However, all chairs were different. Ones had rounded backs or square-ish. In one sat her mother, she wore a delicate white dress and behind her hung a cold white flag with the triquetra symbol embroidered in grey. On her head rested a crown with a symbol resembling the one behind her, in the middle of the crown was a rounded white moonstone, the symbol also decorated her heart chakra (middle above breasts). She looked at her mother, and she just smiled worming the atmosphere.

“My name is Zariah, welcome to our home Y/N.” Y/N’s eyes rested on the women in the middle who spoke once again.

The woman wore a long black dress that covered her feet. The dress was plain apart for the diamond decoration, below her breasts. The neckline of the dress hung low revealing the pentagram fully on her heart chakra. The same symbol was displayed on the flag behind her, around the flag were little stones in colours of very pale blue, dark blue, yellow, green and red. The symbol was also on the crown she wore.

Y/N swallowed hard and asked the first question that came to her mind. “Where am I?” her eyes were wide and voice a little shy.

Zariah smiled at the girl. “You are in the in-between, but I am sure you have already been here, am I right?” The girl nodded. The women stood up and walked up to Y/N. She placed her right hand on Y/Ns’ heart chakra, on top of her hand she placed the other. She closed her eyes. Under her touch Y/N froze, she couldn’t move even if she wanted to do. “May the truth be revealed to you.” The women said, and Y/N felt overwhelming pain. She would scream in agony but the pain was too powerful, and she couldn’t breathe. Her body arched back and fingers gripping the air.

Elijah and Kol

Suddenly they saw the girls’ body arch, moth open but no sound coming out. Head pressing to the floor, her back high in the air, her legs shifting, and her glowed fingernails gripping the floor.

Elijah and Kol watched the girl unable to move. Until the girls’ eyes flung open, they shined like diamonds.

The first thing she saw were two men standing behind her. Her body falls entirely onto the floor with uneven breath and pulsing pain in the chest. After a couple of seconds, she rolled to her side and stood up. Dizziness took over her head, and her hands fall heavily onto the table before her. She squeezed her eyes shut, and then opened them, they came back to normal and were now Y/E/C. She turned around to face the two men.

With a shaky voice, she asked. “Who are you?” Her gaze fixed on them.

One of the men wanted to say something, but the other in the suit interrupted him. “My name is Elijah Mikealson, and this is my brother Kol.” Elijah’s voice firm as he smiled at the girl.

“I think we met before.” Y/N said to Elijah. “What do you want with me?” She knew they needed something. For some reason, probably because of the women, but now she understood everything. She was a witch, a very powerful witch, her mission was to protect this place. At all cost. She had to learn a lot about her powers, but a least she knew who she was.

“We want your powers, sorry love, but you are coming with us.” Said the other men and started to walk towards her.

“I don’t like the way you speak to me, vampire.” She said coldly. She felt a shift in her body and a pulsing power. Her eyes diamond hard rested on the original.

Kol screamed in pain revealing his thangs and veins under his eyes. She then looked at Elijah with a smirk. “I will not take orders from anyone. If you need my help, you will ask for it. Treat this as a lesson.” Her voice confident as ever. What got over her, she never acts this way. Her gaze lowered to the floor as she tried to make sense out of the whole situation. She brought her hands to her temples and massaged them and took a deep breath. Then her gaze returned to the two men, who looked confused. “I, I am sorry. You need to leave.” Her sight travelled from one brother to another.

“I think it is better if you come with us, you are not safe up here.” Elijah walked to her. “If we found you, then your father is probably close.”

Not looking at him she hissed. “He is not my father.”

“Listen, love, we – “ Kol was interrupted by howling of many wolves. “What the bloody hell was that?”

“They are here.” Elijah sated the obvious. “Listen,” he gripped the girls’ shoulders forcing her to look at him. “you have to come with us. Unless you don’t care about the little girl, believe me, I know men like this will stop at nothing to get what they desire.”

“I can’t go, I need to protect this place.” Tears run down her face. A soft, warm thumb whipped them off.

Spell. A thought appeared in her mind and immediately she knew what to do. She turned around walked up to a shelf with weird looking objects. She searched the cupboard and smiled to herself when she finally found tiny glass balls with fog trapped inside them. She took one. Then she walked to the other side, pushing past the brothers, who were observing her carefully. She grabbed a black candle and came back to her original place.

“Here hold this.” She passed the glass ball to Elijah. Then she kneeled down, took off the gloves, she’s been wearing and closed her eyes and visualised the candle flame when her diamond eyes opened she saw the flame. She placed the candle on the floor, her hands opened above the flame. “With the power of the moon, I command you protect this place. Deny entrance to uninvited souls.” She then stood up and took the ball from Elijah. She covered the ball with both of her hands. “Put your right hand below mine.” She ordered him, and he did as she said. “Now you put your right hand on top of mine.” She said to Kol, he also followed her instructions. “Now I need the two of you to visualise your home.” The two brothers nodded. Then she closed her eyes and saw a living room with a fireplace and couch, paintings on the wall. Then she pressed her hands together and smashed the glass ball between her hands.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you prefer to have pictures in the story as you read along or should I create a separate document that will have all the pictures with annotations? Let me know if you want to be tagged in the series.

You don’t dream in cryo. You slowly drift off to sleep and then wake up some time later with a massive headache and completely devoid of energy to do pretty much anything. Well in the older cryo models at least. Your first port of call is usually nutri-packs, to get some energy back before checking cargo and beginning preparations for entering orbit, eventual docking and unloading of cargo.

When you wake from cryo and your ship’s VI is screaming at you, that’s not really an option. Lucky me.

—-

It was around 5 years ago that I decided to strike out on my own. I had previously worked on cargo ships traversing the gap between the Milky Way and Andromeda but this ship was mine and I had thought ‘how hard could it be?’ Haul goods from the Milky Way to Torei, then from there to Andromeda, and then back to the Milky Way. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Like three points on an intergalactic triangle. That was the plan anyway.

The cargo was pretty standard. It was mostly components for habitation and terraforming modules, some exotic foodstuffs and a few dozen crates of personal stuff for others moving to Torei. I’d make a little profit but not enough to retire anywhere within the next 40 years.

The ship I was flying was state of the art, several decades ago. The dealer I bought the 'Dark Centaur’ from said you can tell she’s durable by the number of miles she has on her. Classy name for a pile of junk. How naive I was back then.

image

—-

With sirens blaring, I stumbled from my pod throwing up the white cryo liquid you’re pumped with to 'aid’ in the cryo process.

“Computer, Report”, I hoarsely asked.

“Alert,” the robotic voice responded, “primary guidance system failure. Secondary system non-responsive.”

I stumbled over to a nearby terminal using it to prop me up as sparks and coolant billowed from a damaged conduit nearby. I slammed my hand on the dead console and it sprang to life. Still groggy, I was pretty sure the readout was telling me that the ship had been hit by some chunk of space debris and was now spiraling out of control.

“Where are we?” I asked not expecting an answer.

The ship VI’s hologram appeared shining in a rich yellow and orange “Logs indicate we were nearing our destination six-teen-hours ago.”

“Extrapolate based on our previous heading and speed. Where are we now?”

“Caution, proximity alert…”

Stating the obvious I though staring at the info panel now flashing red showing the dotted line of our course intersecting the planet Torei.

“Impact in 47 minutes…”

I grabbed a nearby stim boost and hastily jammed it into my forearm. My pupils were probably dilated to the max as it rushed through my body. It will be a huge energy boost for now. Maybe enough to get the ship to a stable orbit. Either I was crashing later or both of us were.

—-

The damage was extensive and it wasn’t long before I realised that it wasn’t just the nav computer that was fried. The interstellar drive was also bricked and life-support wasn’t far behind it. Whatever we hit, we did it at speed and it tore a hole right through the ship.

I changed tac and decided there was no way of avoiding the crash. The only hope was to control it somewhat. I set about reconnecting what remaining engines there were and tying their control back to the bridge.

'Oh she’s a sturdy ship’ the previous owner told me. I guess we’re going to find out.

—-

On the bridge, I took the captain’s chair. I had a little chuckle at the fact I was a captain of one. Never the less this was my ship and I’d try and get it down in one piece. The the VI assured me: “Impact in 4 minutes…"

'Not bad’, I thought, considering that it had been over two hours since she said forty-seven minutes. I had hoped to get a comm signal out but it too was damaged and our spiraling approach was bringing me down on the wrong side of the planet.

A small jolt followed quickly by the sound of the thrusters firing let me know the ship had hit the atmosphere. The ship flipped 180, engines or rather what engines I could get working firing forward trying to slow the approach from terminal velocity to something a little less.

Flames began to lick the front of the ship as it to started to roll, somewhat, into a semi-controlled entry of the planet’s atmosphere. Panels began shaking as vibrations tried to shake the ship apart and circuits exploding trying to rip it apart.

And then.

Darkness.

—-

Darkness was what greeted me when I came to again also. Holding my head from the planet sized headache I had, I fumbled around and eventually found a torch. Igniting it, I could see the broken ship all around me. This ship, my ship was never going to fly again. Standing I scanned the room with the torch. Damage was all I could see. Brushing the hair from my eyes, I started a new plan: figure out where the hell I am.

And for the next few days I tried to no avail. Sensors: offline and beyond repair. Com unit: damaged beyond repair. Life support: kind of online in certain sections. I had found a limited hand scanner and from what I could tell the outside air was toxic. Probably the Badlands I surmised and the reason I was hauling habitats and terraforming equipment.

Inspiration ran through my mind as I raced through the ship to the cargo hold, jumping over fallen bulkheads and damaged piping. These habitats were to be dropped from orbit so if anything was to survive it should be them.

Cargo hold 2A, cargo hold 2b, cargo hold 3a, the numbers whizzed past as I ran for 7b but was stopped at 5b by an emergency bulkhead. The display was smashed to bits but I could just about make out what it was telling me. "Life support offline, toxic environment.”

Perfect. And if it was functioning properly it would probably recommend I use the EVA suits that were locked in the container beside it.

—-

The next few days were filled with even less good news. Micro breaches had formed all over the ship and toxic gases were leaking in and good atmosphere was leaking out. Like a whack a mole, you’d find one and another two would appear but eventually they were sealed and I could relax somewhat and gather my thoughts.

I began to think of all the stuff I had been hauling. The goods in hold 3a were pretty intact. I hadn’t given them much thought as there was no breach in the section and unlikely to be any food. But what if.

Taking the exotic fruit known as an apple, I made my way down and pried open the cargo bay door. I read the manifest inside the door. 'Seven containers of personal belongings’ that are not much use to anyone out here.

I began ripping open the containers. The first four had mostly furniture, maybe the odd computer that I could perhaps use. The fifth container however contained what looked crates marked with regions of Torei on each one. As I ripped open the first one marked, Alem, I was greeted by a full wardrobe of clothing. Every shape, every size. I let out a sigh. Someone was trying to smuggle clothing as personal belongings to avoid tax. But as I looked around I saw another marked 'Badlands’. Perhaps?

I raced over to the container and jammed in the crowbar, ripping the metal apart. I shone the torch in and was greeted again by an array of rubber clothing this time appropriate for the Badlands of Torei.

Flicking through I picked out something I felt could provide me with some protection from the elements outside and maybe allow me access to the sealed sections of the ship.

Always read the instructions. I should have learned that from repairing ships over the brief history of my employment and was something I should have done here. As I struggled and struggled to don the layer of latex, I found myself getting more and more exhausted. Collapsing back on the floor, suit no further up my legs than my ankles I reached over and began reading the enclosed instructions.

1) Derobe and ensure skin is clean

2) Apply lubricant Gloss780 to skin

3) Expand neck line and inset legs first

4) Supply addition lubricant as required

5) …

I tossed the instructions aside, cursing for not reading them earlier, I bundled up the latex with the accompanying equipment and made my way to my sleeping chamber.

As I stepped into the shower, I began to relax and for once in the last few months since stepping into the cryo pod and leaving the Milky Way, I started to feel clean. If there was one thing I liked about the ship it was the sonic shower. I had a magic touch that made all other troubles seem light-years away. Approaching the end of the cycle I inserted the lubricant bottle into the receptacle and it began coating my skin.

I took a moment, running my hands over my body. It had been so long since I had had some 'me’ time. A sudden slip under my lubed foot brought me back to the present and reminded me to 'focus on the matter at hand’. We can have some fun later.

I exited the shower and made my way to the neatly folded latex. Slipping my leg through the neck it was a hundred times easier to get into this time. It quickly slid up my legs, over my hips, over my breasts and in one motion both arms. Sitting on the side of the bed I took a moment gathering my strength. It had been easy to slip on but it wasn’t something I was accustomed to. I reached back and lifted the hooded part hanging behind my neck up and over my head. I had some work to do hiding my hair with in the hood keeping the loose strands of blonde hair from peeking though the holes for my eyes and mouth. Looking around I slipped on the accompanying boots and stood up gaining a few extra centimeters from the wedged heels. I reached down and picked up the gas mask, the last piece of the puzzle and pulled it down from the top of my head sealing me inside.

Standing tall I admired my now black encased body. It was a sight to see myself encased in this foreign substance. I couldn’t help but let my hands trace my new outline which found their way to a small button on the side. Curiosity getting the better of me I pressed it. My eyes widened as around my waist expanded a metal band and from it extended a corset from under my bust to the top of my legs. I took small shallow breaths as it constricted my breathing but it didn’t take long to become accustomed to the new arrangement.

A voice rang out in my ears, almost like the suit had become alive. “Welcome USER. Hazard seal engaged. Beginning installation.”

'Installation?’ I wondered for just a moment as I felt three intruders grow inside me.  The first entered my mouth expanding not like a balloon filling with air, but rather hugging my mouth, covering my teeth and tongue in a thin layer of latex. And yet I was still able to breath through it. That is the short little breaths I could as the two below my waist, a little simpler perhaps but no less exciting, expanded filling me with pleasure as they began to vibrate in sequence bringing me to my knees in wave after wave of pleasure.

—-

I must have lay there for hours wave after wave crashing over me. All time and chores that required attention just slipped away. I was in pure bliss and nothing could separate me from that moment.

—-

It was the next day before I could even think about moving again and strangely I felt invigorated to push forward. I was still encased in the tight, sleek latex, the invaders still within me but they did not imped my motion. Nor did I feel any hunger in fact feeling the strength to do all the required tasks.

I spent much of it prying open the exterior cargo doors and extending the habitat modules and within two weeks had set up practically a palace to live within. All the additional items had been moved or salvaged from the wreck of my once space worthy ship.

image

It didn’t matter that the air was toxic anymore the suit protected me and sustained me.

Standing on the balcony of my palace I saw a gleaming light in the distance. Wondering what excitement it held, I packed up the hover vehicle and embarked to one day return…

One Way Passage: Starting Over Can’t Erase the Past

Joan:“It won’t end, will it, Dan?”Dan:“My dear, whatever happens, we belong together always.”

I’ve worshiped at the altar of Hollywood’s golden age since I was a boy skipping school to watch the Morning Moneyman Movie, and it was a passion that Michael and I shared. We spent many a weekend afternoon immersed in that black and white magic world up there on our television screen. But a classic…

Reaching for a New Beginning

Reaching for a New Beginning

I met him four months before the second anniversary of Michael’s death. Marty was a sweet, quirky, and gentle man who worshipped the ground I walked on and had the bluest pair of eyes I’d ever seen.

He stood at the end of a long line of guys I’d been texting and FaceTiming with for the last nine months. At first, it was about connecting with other gay men—some who’d experienced loss and some who…
