Shiro might have been a little bit tipsy, but it didn’t matter anyway, because he was retired and married and Adam looked very, very pretty in the moonlight.

“What are you doing?” Adam laughed when Shiro bowed and held his hand out—right in the middle of the sidewalk.

“Care for a dance?” Shiro said in the most obnoxious accent, wiggling his eyebrows and making Adam laugh even harder. Adam pulled him back into a standing position and dragged him by the arm.

“We are not dancing out here!”

“Why not? You look beautiful.”

Adam blushed, a small smile still on his face, but turned away to continue pulling on Shiro’s arm. “What does that have to do with us dancing? And I’m cold.”

He yelped when he was suddenly yanked backwards by the arm he was holding onto, crashing into Shiro’s chest with a soft thud. His cheeks darkened as he stared right into his husband’s stormy eyes.

“Allow me to warm you up,” Shiro leered, and his words were a little slurred together, but the flirtatious smile adorning his lips was still charming. It reminded Adam of their younger days, and he let out a dreamy sigh right before an arm wrapped around his neck like a firm headrest. He gasped as he was suddenly dipped, supported by his husband’s metal hand at the small of his back and his own foot that he had somehow managed to plant on the sidewalk before he was twirled around. The arm slung over his neck pulled him closer, until warm, wet lips met his own cold ones in a crushing kiss that took the rest of his breath away.

Adam dug his fingers into that broad back, holding on for dear life yet knowing Shiro would never drop him. But Shiro was also a little drunk right now, so he kissed back for a few passionate seconds before pulling away.

“Okay, big guy.” Adam was somehow able to wriggle himself free from the position, but had a difficult time releasing Shiro’s unrelenting hug. “Let’s go home and dance there.”

Shiro snuggled his face against his shoulder. “Let me carry you,” he mumbled, and his fingers searched for Adam’s thighs, itching to grab them and hoist the man up.

“No, no, no.” Adam giggled as he tried to dodge the sneaky fingers, Shiro tickling his neck with his prickly cheeks.

“Why?” Shiro whined.

“Because I don’t trust your ability to walk right now.”

Shiro pushed his body closer, almost tipping Adam over again. “I can do it. I’m only tipsy, I promise.”

“No,” Adam said, and this time he wasn’t laughing. He gave Shiro a stern look, in which Shiro just blinked for a few moments.

“Okay,” he finally agreed, and pulled back, “but you have to hold my hand at least.”

“Of course.” Adam was already searching for his hand, and interlocked their fingers when he found it. “Otherwise you’ll get lost.”

“No I won’t!”

Shiro bumped his shoulder, but it looked more like he stumbled into it. Adam just shook his head with a smile and dragged him along, only half listening to Shiro pronounce his love over and over until they reached the house, in which Shiro immediately collapsed onto the bed before he could take his shoes off.

• (If Adam was alive) Lance and Adam are best friends™ and have a lot of inside jokes. Shiro and Keith are constantly scared of these two.
• Platonic Kidge. Pidge and Keith are conspiracy theorie freaks and could talk hour about it. (Pidge secretly doesn’t trust the government)
• Matt teaches/shows Romelle memes
• Everyone ships Klance and they are open about it. Pidge “Tell your boyfriend to shut up” Keith “Lance is not my boyfriend” Pidge “Yeah, and I am Morgan Freeman”.
• Shiro makes a lot of gay jokes
• Shiro uses het emojis
• The Paladins call Coran “Uncle Coran” most of the time (Like they call Shiro “Dad”)
• A lot of adults are actually really scared of Pidge
• The Paladins have a “Hunk’s cookies friday”. Hunk makes cookies every Friday and they all have a movie night.
• Pidge secretly likes MCR
• Keith is a weeb
• The first time Keith heard about “Klance” he asked Lance what it means. After Lance explained it to Keith, they both got really red and were awkward around each other for a week
• Lance adopted a cat and names her Blue (Blue and Kosmo are getting along really well)

• Pidge, Hunk, and Lance call the Galra “Furries (is that how you write it?) Including Keith
• Lance wants to know what shampoo Lotor used

Did Adam even know Shiro was still out there leading Voltron

If he did know, is that why he piloted a ship? Because if Shiro was out there fighting Aliens, he would do the same so their home wouldn’t be destroyed?

Thoughts about Shiro and Adam in the s7e1 spoilers:

Shiro was very sick and probably thought it was gonna be his last mission ever. However, when Shiro told Adam about going on the mission, Adam still asked how important HE is to Shiro. Despite Shiro telling him his dying wish, Adam didn’t honor it. I think that’s why some people view Adam as selfish; he didn’t let his significant other choose his last moments in life.

(It’s totally cool if you think it’s not selfish. We all love differently. Adam probably just wanted to spend time with Shiro till his last breath.)
