What in the walking monumental ritualistic beauty is going on here?

Y'all, I just saw this and wanted to share it with y'all because my city is starting to shut down again due to increases in covid cases and the recent Federal team that visited this past weekend. So with that being said, I know funds are going to decrease again for a lot of people who were just trying to get back into the groove of things, so I’ll accept this blessing and pass it on my extended family here and y'all do the same.
P.S. What have y'all heard about the shortage of coins or whatever BS the Federal Reserve is popping?

Merry Calibration to my Exalted Secret Santa giftee, @grimmjowjaegerjaquez! Here’s my take on Leno-Myraavi Khalil, a particularly anxious and polite Twilight Caste. Cecil mentioned making a comic of this character some day and I hope he will! Khalil intrigues me. I want to know more about his back tattoo and how he got it. A mark of his sorcerous initiation, perhaps?
I took cues from his iconic anima aura which is described as ‘eyes that look everywhere and nowhere arrayed like a peacock’s tail’. This was the perfect opportunity to test out Procreate’s Soft Pastel and inks for a Tarot-inspired style.
Thanks for organizing us @shiftingpath! It’s always fun to see what awesome art comes out each year.

My yearly fiery sorcerer with glowing veins. :P Was playing around with it between working on commissions in January, and I’ve been staring at it for too long so I’m just gonna leave it like this. Was relaxing and a lot of fun though!

Wanted to create a custom portrait of Heidrek that I could use in Baldur’s Gate, without it clashing terribly with the existing ones. The result is … good enough for now. Especially since this is so far out of my comfort zone. xP It’s a big mix of watercolour, gouache, ink and digital media. Finished it like a month ago but I’ve been so busy with the moving house I couldn’t upload it until now.

Character designs I did for a friend who was running a D&D Tournament at a gaming convention. It was a really fun project, and a great design challenge.
