wander & wonder In these weeks on vacation in Gotland, we have been outdoors everyday, exploring new landscapes and wandering on new paths. and the more I spent time outdoors, the calmer I feel - it has something to do with the realization, that no matter what you do, the trees will still grow, the leaves will turn red and orange and eventuell fall down - only for new ones to grow the following spring. you are so insignificant - so don’t take your everyday problems too important. try to see the bigger picture - and let go of all negativity in your life. „To let go isn’t to forget, not to think about or ignore. it doesn’t leave feelings of anger, jealousy or regret. letting go is not winning and it is not losing. its not about pride and its not about how you appear, and its not about obsessing or dwelling on the past. sometimes I look in the mirror or at pictures like this and think „look at those love handles“ „oh my god, my thighs look so big“ „man I hate my boobs, I wish they were bigger“ and stuff like that. the majority of us women have thoughts like this, maybe not every day but at least once in a while.for most of us, being always #bodypositiv isn’t reality.
when I saw this picture I instantly complained about how I hate my thighs and my waist. and then after @ pointed out, that all others would see is my abs, I realized how wrong and twisted my perception of myself is. we tend to see our little faults and exaggerate them - and fail to recognize our strengths, our beauty and all that good stuff.
by focusing on outward appearance we fail to take care of our mind and soul. if you’re reading this, pause and name 5 things you love about yourself. feel the smile on your face, feel how good this tiny moment of self love feels.
the journey to self love is a long one, and it doesn’t necessary have anything to do with your body. the important thing is to start, to live a life full of love, happiness and joy.

wake up & go on adventures take big steps out of your comfort zone! if anyone would have told me that I’d be spending my summer in a place where it’s colder than it is at home, I’d have laughed at them. but that’s what we did this year, spent our summer in Sweden. and let me tell you, it was so beautiful. all this barely touched nature calmed me down so much - I am super glad to have stepped out of my comfort zone I urge you to try out new things once in a while
While on vacation on #Gotland, #Sweden, we visited one of the many little farms where they sell homegrown fruits and veggies. If you’re ever in Sweden, you’ve got to try this. Try to buy locally grown food, even if it’s not mangos and pineapples. Visit farmers markets and buy real food - every 30-40 days your skin replaces itself, just as your liver and other parts of your body. your body produces new cells from the food you put inside you. so you quite literally become what you eat, so chose wisely. Eating fruits and veggies all day is not only healthy. It is a form of self-respect. By controlling what you put inside you, you not only nourish your body but your soul as well.
