There is a farmer’s market in Ferney-Voltaire, France that is hands-down the best Saturday market I have ever been to. It’s honestly what dreams are made of, and every time I go to Ferney I absolutely must be there on a Saturday so I can go to the market.

Farmer’s Markets Beginning April 16th
Good Sense Farm will be vending at several farmer’s market locations throughout DC. Every Saturday, beginning April 16th, we will be tabling at Community Foodworks’ Columbia Heights and Historic Brookland markets. Both run from 9AM-1PM.
We will also be tabling at Eastern Market every Sunday, beginning April 17th, from 9AM-5PM.

Hi just here to remind y’all that I’m an #ImperfectEnvironmentalist (we all are!). Sometimes that means I get all my produce at the #FarmersMarket in my reusable bags but other times I eat boxed #vegan mac and cheese with leftover broccoli rabe from the bagel shop down the street
That is all to say: let’s practice grace with one another, and not shame people into this movement (we know that’s never going to work ). Spread the word!
At times when I feel helpless in the face of all that’s happening in the world, I try to keep a personal *activism log* to remind myself that while I can’t do everything, I can do something
This weekend, those ‘somethings’ have included:
bringing my reusable cup + supporting a local coffee shop calling Gov Abbott’s office to oppose the anti-Trans bill #composting my food scraps shopping at the #FarmersMarket for #local and #organic produce (pictured above!) walking + taking public transport eating #PlantBased dropping old clothes off with @nycsanitation to be recycled into scraps
While it’s certainly not perfect, this log is a gentle reminder that my day-to-day includes actions that support initiatives for a more positive future. What are some things you’ve done this weekend to take action? Let me know in the comments

While on vacation on #Gotland, #Sweden, we visited one of the many little farms where they sell homegrown fruits and veggies. If you’re ever in Sweden, you’ve got to try this. Try to buy locally grown food, even if it’s not mangos and pineapples. Visit farmers markets and buy real food - every 30-40 days your skin replaces itself, just as your liver and other parts of your body. your body produces new cells from the food you put inside you. so you quite literally become what you eat, so chose wisely. Eating fruits and veggies all day is not only healthy. It is a form of self-respect. By controlling what you put inside you, you not only nourish your body but your soul as well.
