A New Year and Traveling to Europe
This wraps up my 2018 adventures. I got so busy and was living life that I didnt have time to upload all the adventures until now, so thanks for getting through that with me. Life has changed A LOT over the last year. More than it ever has before. and way more so than I showed you in these 2018 posts. It was a good year of change that I am happy to say hello to.
However, its 2019 now and I have a whole lot of goals and ideas that I hope to accomplish this year. I plan to make a “life update” video and upload it to my youtube channel, to go over all the crazy and exciting changes that happened in 2018 and my big plans for 2019. So if you haven subscribed make sure you do! I am going to be focusing a lot on youtube this year by making a lot of travel and lifestyle videos and content.
Also make sure you follow along on here and on my instagram (where I am most active) because I am leaving next week for Europe for 2 and a half months!!! I am so excited I can barely contain myself! So over the next few days expect to see posts preparing for this long trip!

I don’t know if anyone ever actually looks at my blog, but for anyone who does (hello!), I haven’t forgotten about uploading photos! So, here’s a couple of photos from the time I went to the breathtaking village in Shirakawa-go.

Arches National Park is by far the coolest, oddest, strangest most beautiful place I have ever been. These pictures do not do it justice. This is a place that must be visited to truly understand the strange beauty of it.
Jess and I started out with one of the more popular hikes to • Delicate Arch •
It was a little under 4 miles round trip. Although 4 miles isn’t very long, we were nervous with the harsh summer desert heat. With lots of sun screen and water we prevailed. The hike to the arch was beautiful to say the least and well worth the sweat. The next hike we did was to Landscape Arch, which was a quick 2 mile hike. The landscape arch is the longest natural arch in the world, pretty neat.
Thanks to my friend Darren with lots of recommendations for the Moab area. We ended the daylight with a burger and milkshake from Milts. A cool outside seating burger joint that has been serving Moab since 1954. I couldn’t think of anything that I would have wanted more after a long day.
Around 7 Jess and I decided to cruise back into Arches National Park for the sunset. We climbed half way up Balanced Rock and had front row seats on the cliff edge for a surreal sunset. Truly a great way to end the day.I wish I had more time to spend at Arches National Park and the entire Moab area. So much cool hikes, history and beautiful scenery to check out. Will be coming back in the future without a doubt. Tomorrow I think we will head to Bryce Canyon National Park.

I took my new dog to my favourite camping ground. It was a bit surreal.
I have changed my van around a bit, but still haven’t decorated it inside, although I have most of the materials to do so.

Visit of the Big Bayan Tree parc in the Gaotian village near Guilin. The tree in this parc is apparently about 1400 years old - according to our Chinese friends, you´ll live a 100 years when you walked a loop around it!

민속촌에 두번째로 가는 거라서 여름에 갔을 때 못 본 것도 좀 찾았어요. 하나는 아름다운 무봉산 금련사였어요. 절까지 올라갔는데 진짜 조용해서 참 평화로웠고 힐링이 됐어요. 민속촌이 크고 다양한 모습이 있어서 갈 때마다 새로운 것을 볼 수 있을 듯해요.

영국의 이런 크리스마스 전통을 많이 좋아해서 올해 한국에서 보낼 것은 조금 아쉬운데 한국에서도 크리스마스 기념할려고 해요. 다이소 가서 재료를 사고 이렇게 벽에다가 “트리” 만들었어요. 이번 크리스마스는 우리 가족이랑 보낼 수 없지만 제 한국 가족한테 크리스마스 전통을 소개해줄 수 있고 같이 보내서 좋을 것 같아요. 날씨가 추워도 마음은 따뜻하게 시간 같이 보낼 겁니다.
I love all these Christmas traditions, so it feels a little weird to be in Korea this year, but I intend on celebrating Christmas here as well. I bought lights and tinsel at Daiso to make this tree shape against the wall in my apartment. I won’t be with my family this year, but I look forward to spending Christmas with my Korean friends this year and introducing them to these traditions.
