Fourteen year old Tsukishima Akiteru looks up from his manga just in time to see a small, green haired kid launch themselves at him. He laughs as Yamaguchi Tadashi wraps his arms tightly around his waist, draping his own arms around the small boy’s shoulders.
“Hi Tadashi-kun,” Akiteru says. He glances over at his own brother, standing a few metres away and refusing to look at them. “Hi Kei.”
“Hi,” Kei replies in his usual monotone. Sometimes Akiteru wonders how his little brother is such a grumpy old man when he’s only eight years old. He won’t even hug Akiteru in public anymore, because he thinks only babies show affection to their wonderful big brothers.
At least Akiteru has Tadashi now. Tadashi’s never short on brotherly affection.
