These are some headcanons of mine about how Haikyuu peeps would comfort you

• Asahi is a big hugger. You feel sad? Hugs all around. They are also immaculate. 10/10 would hug again
• Sugawara like aggressively loves you. You don’t get the sweet little “it’ll be okay” no. You get the “you are a bad bitch. Mkay?” 
• Kuroo is a fucking impeccable listener. He’ll never tell you what you should and shouldn’t be doing, he listens and just lets you express
• Bokuto is also a big hugger, but like BIG HUGGER. That man will bear hug the tears out of your body and will not let go until you at least smile
• Daichi gives the best advice, he literally just knows everything. He never judges you and generally just puts things straight like “okay look this is what needs to happen”
• Atsumu’s specialty is making you laugh. He isn’t good with words but he never fails to make you smile
• Osamu, on the other hand, is quite gentle. His tone, demeanor, literally everything softens when you’re upset. It’s just generally calm and he gives you the energy you need to just breathe
• Oikawa plans straight up murder. Someone hurt you? Don’t worry babe, Oikawa is planning it and pitching it to Iwaizumi later 
• Akaashi lets you lay with your head on his thighs and plays with your hair because he knows it usually calms you down. His advice is also top-notch
• I just KNOW Nishinoya’s exact quote would be so casual “whatcha’ sad about?” I can hear it in his voice. He buys you sweets and lets you vent out your problems. It’s most likely that afterwards he shows you a trick he’s working on, even more likely he fails (on purpose to make you smile)
• Tsukishima is literally so fucking blunt it’s incredible. However, he has this whole protective vibe to him that he’ll never admit to. You basically bully each other back and forth until you feel better
• At first it seems like Kenma doesn’t care, but, he actually forces you to play games with him because he wants to distract you from your sadness
• Kiyoko makes you a whole ass care package. Snacks, face mask, lil post-its about how amazing you are. Literally the queen of comforting (and everything let’s be real)
  
• Ukai thinks that you’re faking it at first but quickly realises that you’re not. He offers to beat someone’s ass if they hurt your feelings
• Tendou is literally a serotonin refill station. Anything he does just makes you smile. He is quite prone to wholesome confusion like “I don’t get it why would someone say that to you???”
• Saeko literally goes “hell no” and takes you on a day out because fuck being sad, all my homies hate being sad
• Mad Dog has NO IDEA what to say to you. If someone has hurt you, the next day you find out that he got into a fight with them. He refuses to admit he did it for you
• Iwaizumi being SUPER protective joins in on the fight. He keeps a really close eye on you for a while to make sure that you’re okay
• Aone, also an incredible listener. By the end of your rant, he gives you little pat on the head
  
• Tanaka contemplates threatening whoever/whatever caused your sadness, but settles for cuddles while watching your favourite movie

Karasuno-

• Suga can actually be a pillow princess sometimes and likes to be treated like royalty. Basically worshipped.
• Daichi loves working both hands at the same time, like choking you while fingering. He also goes mad for eye contact and forces you to look at him
• Asahi is a gentle giant but is super strong so he kind of likes to ragdoll and manhandle you because it makes him feel quite dominant
• Noya is super good with his fingers, like crazy good. He can make you come from fingering without putting in any effort, he’s at a god-tier level 
• Tanaka literally pounds you. Rails you into oblivion. You are left with aching hips and feeling like your insides are bruised.
• Kageyama likes degrading. He’s also super good at it. All the Hinata-boke practice prepared him for it
• Hinata always makes sure that you’re okay, checks to make sure you’re feeling good and all that jazz
• Tsukishima also degrades you. And dear god he’s good at it. He usually mixes degradation with praises such as “What a good slut”
• Yam’s likes it when you’re on top, purely because he gets to hold your hips and look at you

Other Teams-

• Kuroo loves giving head, it’s literally one of his favourite things and sometimes gets so desperate to taste you that he can’t even make it 2 steps past the front door
• Kenma loves to get sucked off while he’s streaming which has happened more than once. You sit under the desk while he keeps a poker face. The only thing that gives it away is when his cheeks start burning red and his concentration is altered
• Lev likes to fuck you while standing, he wraps your legs around his waist and helps you bounce on him
• Bokuto adores holding your hips and thighs during sex, any part of you that he can grip, he’s in love with. Especially when he really gets into pounding you and tries to go harder
• Akaashi always smirks down at you when you give him head. He also makes you swallow when he finishes in your mouth
• Oikawa can very easily be forced into submission, also pillow princess mentality.
• Iwaizumi (lord give me strength) likes to spit on you or in your mouth, then forces you to look at him and swallow it

• Tanaka has a massive thing for girls in beanies or grunge outfits
• Nishinoya is a natural at skateboarding but never told anyone. Not for any specific reason, he just hasn’t mentioned it
• Sugawara has a sort of parental role on the team because he often has to look after his younger brother a lot and finds it hard to break out of the responsible older bro headspace
• Asahi likes big girls. Period. He is also the best hugger out of everyone
• Kuroo takes away Kenma’s games everyday for at least an hour to force him to study
• Bokuto rambles and gets very flustered around people who he finds attractive, Akaashi often has to translate for him
• Ushijima takes mental notes while watching people interact because he wants to be approachable
• Oikawa has a lot of breakdowns at night, most about his sense of identity and where he’s going in the world
• The only person who can break Iwaizumi out of his rage is actually Oikawa but Iwa will never admit it
• Tendō hates mirrors, he’ll often pull faces at them to make himself feel better
• Suga once dared Daichi to break a watermelon between his thighs, which he did with ease
• Tsukki sometimes just sits in his room and thinks about future snarky remarks and comebacks
• Hinata is convinced that if you eat a seed, a plant will grow inside your stomach
• Aone is super duper comfortable to lay on 
• Kageyama is quite a good artist when he tries. He sits in class doodling eyes in his notebook, when he’s not sleeping that is
• It is extremely easy to make Semi blush 
• Mad Dog is actually quite fond of Nishinoya but will never admit it
• Suna is saving up videos of the twins fighting for a compilation that he will present on their birthdays
• Yachi is scared of the dark so she has one of those cute lil unicorn lamps that you hit and it changes colour
• Ukai yells at anyone in the store who starts badmouthing Karasuno
• Terushima got drunk with the team someone pierced his tongue, they all still have no idea who did it
• Daichi can play the guitar, his hands are large and skilled enough to reach basically any chord
• Nishinoya fake-bangs literally the entire team if they bend over to pick up something
• Yamaguchi is afraid of spiders and makes Tsukki get them
• On the contrary, Akaashi owns a spider. A tarantula to be exact
• Kenma adores Halloween, it’s his favourite holiday

Hey y’all, it’s like 3am and I’m having a bit of a rough lil ride with my ✨trauma✨ and wrote this to calm myself down while I’m alone with my thoughts. I think it could maybe help some of you out there.

WARNING! This entire post is about sexual assault and how some of Karasuno would react to you telling them what happened. 

If you have gone through this please remember it’s not your fault. It never was and it never will be.

• Suga finds out after he notices you going through an especially rough day. The memories get too much so you end up telling him everything. Suga asks if he can touch you and when granted permission, pulls you in to a hug and doesn’t let go. He puts his whole heart into holding you and tries everything he can to make you feel safe again. 
• Tanaka gets angry. Not at you, at the person who did it. He gets so angry that he cries and punches a wall. He curses to himself about how he wishes he could have been there to help you.
• Hinata doesn’t know what to do, he starts shaking in a mixture of anger and heartache. He refuses to cry but tears still slip from his eyes as he tries to come up with ways to comfort you.
• Kageyama goes completely silent, his head down and staring at the floor. You feel scared at first, regretting telling him, thinking he’s mad at you. But he looks back up, eyes red and cheeks stained with tears. He wipes his tears with his sleeve and hugs you. 
• Nishinoya sits, shaking his head. Not wanting to even think about anything bad happening to you. He immediately asks for the name of who did it and swears to you that not just him but the whole team will make sure to hurt them just as bad as they hurt you.
  

Hey, take a bit of a breather before you keep reading. Have a sip of water and take a deep breath.

• Asahi uses all of his strength to hold back his tears. He feels a massive lump in his throat that limits his breathing. He holds your hand and does the thumb stroke thingy. He reminds you that “you’re never alone”, “it’s not your fault”, “it’s okay to be upset”
• Daichi freezes up. His fingers curl into a fist and he clenches his jaw. Yet, he sets aside his anger to comfort you. He says nothing, just holds you close to him and lets you speak for as long as you need to. You rest your head on his shoulder.
• Tsukki doesn’t know how to react. He feels an unusual need to protect you. He doesn’t hesitate to express his disgust that someone could sink so low as to hurting you, especially in that way. He sits with you and listens to music to help calm you. 
• You could almost see Yams heart crack in half. He stays silent for a moment, catching his breath as your story seemed to leave him as a loss for air. He can’t help but apologise for anything and everything. He holds your hands and presses his forehead to them. You feel tears drip onto your wrist. 
• Kiyoko holds you the entire time you tell her what happened, she rubs up and down your arm and rests her head on yours. She asks very few questions. She very quietly cries and hopes you don’t notice because she doesn’t want to upset you more. 
• Yachi the poor baby can’t fully comprehend it. In slight denial that someone could do something so awful. She offers to go with you if you decide to report it. She wants to make all of your pain go away but it kills her that she can’t do it.

Gotta sprinkle a little angst here and there I guess.

Ever since high school you had a passion for the sport, a sort of love that couldn’t be explained. It was only when you’d hit the peak, flying through the air, that you’d truly experience a sort of high that couldn’t be replicated. With everyone on the edge of their seat, you could feel the rush that flowed through your veins that pushed you further to reach for that next point. 
It was utterly… magical. 
Which is why you knew you couldn’t stop.

“Let’s go Ha-geshī Sa-sori!” The cheers of dedicated fans echo through the overly large stadium. 
Sweat trickles down your forehead, chest heaving. Your trained eyes fixated on the ball that slices through the air. 
“Set point! Hit ‘em with the stinger Y/N!”
A voice screams from the stands. It was your final move. As the ace of the team, you had your own secret weapons. One was especially favoured by your fans, the one they called ‘The Stinger’. It earned the name from its ability to pierce through most blocks of your opponents.
Your legs ache but it was nothing that could strip your attention, you’re too far into the zone to be distracted. One glance over to your captain and you see them nod, granting approval to take the last point.
You leap, arm ready to swing down at the ball and cut through the opposing team’s defence. 
A blaring slam against the polished floors ricochets against the walls. As you fall back to your feet, your eyes widen. You did it. Your team took the victory.
Your fellow members scream with euphoria and leap onto you, burying you in a pile of sweatied bodies. The entire stadium erupts into roars of cheering.

“Great work today guys! That was incredible!” Your overly bubbly coach beams at the smiling faces before them.
You wipe the back of your neck with the hand towel that seemed to live on your shoulders. You grin to yourself, still trying to catch your own breath. 
“HEYYY!” You hear a familiar voice scream. You turn towards it, unsurprised at the joyous face of Tanaka Ryūnosuke, your number 1 fan and dedicated boyfriend. 
“Hey stud, how’s it hangin’?” You ask before taking a swig of your now room-temperature water.
Tanaka wraps his arms around your waist and hoists you up into the air. “THAT WAS AMAZING! YOU DID SO WELL!” Surely enough, he hasn’t changed at all since high school. 
You lay your arms on his shoulders and look down at him with a wide smile. “Thank you baby.” You giggle, planting a quick kiss on his lips. “But you should probably let go of me, I’m all sweaty and gross.”
“Nope. Not letting you, you’re gonna have to pry me off.” He tightens his grip on you, nuzzling his face into your ribs. 
“Okay okay!” You laugh, cupping the sides of his face. “Pretty please let me down, I gotta thank people for coming.” 
Tanaka huffs yet disgruntledly lets you go, only to snatch your hand in his. “Mine.” He says, squeezing you just that little bit more to stake his claim on you.

“Geez babe, anyone would think you’re my bodyguard the way you’re watching over me.” You joke, nudging him in the side with your elbow. 
“Sorry not sorry. I’m protecting what’s mine.” He states proudly whilst puffing out his chest, staring down anyone who dares to even look your way. 
“Wow what a cute couple, down for a poly?” A distinct high-pitched voice hollers from behind you.
You laugh, already knowing who it is. “For you Nishinoya? Of course.” You say, spinning on your heels to face him. 
Tanaka releases your hand to give his old friend a bear hug. “Where you been my dude? I thought you were going to Italy.” 
“I was but I heard Y/N was playing and I had to see before I left.” Nishinoya gleams, throwing his arms in the air. “And you did awesome!” He yells excitedly. 
“Thanks Noya.” You say, ruffling his hair. 

“Hi uh Y/N is it?” A voice calls from behind you as you feel gentle taps on your shoulder.
You turn to them. “That would be me, how can I help you?”
Your eyes take note of the figure, it’s a tall man that seemed rather anxious to talk to you. You soften your look in an attempt to comfort them. 
Tanaka, too involved in his conversation with Noya, doesn’t quite notice. 
“I just wanted to say that I’m a big fan, I used to see your games back in high school. You’ve really come a long way.”
You smile brightly at them. “Why thank you! It’s a relief to know I’ve improved and I’m not just recycling old moves.”
The man laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. His eyes can’t seem to catch yours as he stares at the ground. “Yeah… I also wanted to ask you for your number–?”
Tanaka’s ears prick up as the words fall from the mans mouth. He instantly spins around and wraps his arm around your waist. “Sorry there buddy but, they’re taken.” He tries to keep his playful tone for your sake but ultimately fails. 
Nishinoya stands beside you and glares at him. “Yeah move it along pal!”
It’s no surprise the both of them are so protective, they had been that way all through high school. Never letting anyone come anywhere near you. 
You pray that the man will just take his pardon and leave. 
“I’m pretty sure they can speak for themselves.” He states, crossing his arms.
You sigh, mentally preparing yourself for whatever is going to come next.
“Oh it’s like that?!” Tanaka says, rolling his shoulders back in an attempt to intimidate him.
“So you wanna go after our precious Y/N and then stay when you’re clearly not wanted here?!” Nishinoya says, rolling up his sleeves. 

“I’m just saying, if they really wanted me to leave they’d tell me.” He’s not helping his case. The man plants his feet, refusing to leave from his spot.
“Oh geez…” You mutter under your breath. “Okay guys let’s back up a little huh?”
“Those asswipes started it.” The man says in a way that brings you back to early childhood of ‘he did this’ ‘she did that’.
“Who are you calling an asswipe?!” Tanaka asks, getting right up into his face. 
“Tanaka, heel.” You say gripping him by his shirt collar. “Noya, you too. Don’t think I forgot about you, ya little gremlin.” It never really mattered what you’d say, the boys typically listened to you. They both step back. 
“We’re backing down for their sake. Not yours.” Tanaka growls, eyeing him off as much as he can before you drag him away. 

You watch as Nishinoya stays in his place, keeping guard of you from a distance. The man keeps his eyes glued on the two of you. Tanaka flashes a quick grimace his way before gripping your cheeks and planting a kiss on on your lips. 
He slides his hands down your hips and pulls you in closer to him, pressing you against his body. You graze your hand over the back of his neck to deepen the kiss. 
He pulls away and looks back over, the man seems to be fuming while Nishinoya laughs and cheers you on. Tanaka grins cheekily and returns his attention back to you.
“You sly shit.” You say as you shake your head with a smile. 
“Gotta let the people know what’s mine.” He says before laying a gentle kiss on your nose. “Take the day off tomorrow, you’re spending it with me…”
